Battle Of Planets

Chapter 112: New order
The battle room stood frozen in silence for a long moment. Then came the gasps—slow at first, scattered—then a rising tide of realization.Meta-bot wearers all around began to grasp, what had just happened. In the blink of an eye, they had been taken—snatched from their lives without warning, without consent, and thrown into a war they never agreed to fight.

Just like every soldier ever drafted. Just like every human forced to face danger for survival.

Just like us.

”My, my...” Blue sat lazily on a hard metal surface, ”We’re fucked, aren’t we?”

Tyson turned his head slowly, only to see his team. The youngsters who always looked up to him as a leader were now scared.

Lara stood trembling like a leaf, her eyes wide with fear and Bee had turned away, hiding his face beneath his arms. Ken just stared, unmoving— trying to process it all. And Shaun... gulped, visibly shaking, lips parted like he was trying to breathe but couldn’t.

They were terrified. All of them.

They were just cadets, still learning to be Rangers, yet here they were, in the mouth of death.

Tyson wanted to get up and console their fears, but he was afraid himself. He was afraid of death, afraid to lose Nancy, afraid to not see her again ever, afraid to fight...afraid of everything around him.

A chilling laugh echoed through the vast metallic chamber, bouncing off the neon-lit walls like a haunting omen.

It was Ryzen the Dancing Devil.

Clad in armor of purple, chains draped in his forearms. He stood tall, an unsettling smile playing on his lips. In front of him stood Ryuk, now without his armor, returned to his human form, cautious and unreadable.

”This is for the best!” Ryzen shouted, his voice booming. ”If we all die here—Earth itself will be destroyed, once and for all!”

His words hit the room like a thunder.

gasps spread through the chamber. Panic rippled across the faces of the young, the unprepared, the unwilling. Murmurs erupted, voices overlapping in disbelief and rising fear.

Ryuk didn’t react. His eyes swept across the chamber, ignoring the chaos, trying to understand the environment...

A mechanical voice came, from the tattoo like meta—bot on his chest.

”That... is true,” said the Purple Meta-bot, ”But for that to happen, you would need to kill everyone here.”

All eyes turned to Ryzen And yet, his smile did not falter. ”Oh, I will.”

He felt it before he saw...an oppressive presence behind him. Ryzen instinctively jumped, spinning in caution.

It was Edward, clad in the suit he always wears. His eyes held a storm, calm on the surface but dangerous underneath.

”You better mind your tongue, young one,” Edward said coldly, glaring at Ryzen. ”Before I pull it out.”

Without waiting for a reply, he brushed past the stunned Ryzen and walked toward his sons. His grim expression softened just slightly as he reached them.

He placed a firm hand on Tyson’s shoulder, and a silent message passed through that touch. Then he nodded at Alex.

He wanted to tell them, ’I’m here’ that...No matter what happens... I will protect you both.

Tyson looked up at his adoptive father. The chaos, the fear—it didn’t vanish, but something inside him settled. Reassurance. Safety.

A voice beside him murmured dryly.

”I guess... she said no,” said Blue, glancing at Tyson, then quickly looking away.

A lurching step echoed behind them. ”Blue?” said a voice.

Raine stepped forward, her metallic prosthetic leg clicking softly against the platform. The trophy of a past battle. A hard-earned survival.

Blue turned, and his grin widened. ”Raine!” he shouted, pulling her into a hug. ”You got yourself a new leg to kick around with, huh?”

Raine smirked. ”Guess now I can kick you with more power.”

Blue laughed, something genuine returning to his face for the first time in ages. ”I missed you.”

Their reunion was short-lived as Julian slowly made his way through the crowd. His steps were frame aged—but his presence still commanded silence.

He reached Edward, who was now hugging both sons tightly.

”Edward,” Julian said, his voice stern but kind. ”It’s your turn to step up.”

Edward nodded silently.

Julian turned to Tyson, placing a hand on his back. ”Don’t worry, son. Things will be right. Trust yourself.”

Alex observed the old man from the corner of his eye. This was the second strongest man?He looked... weak. Fragile.

Meanwhile, Ryuk turned abruptly, sensing someone behind him.

Standing there was a golden-haired man, face stoic and grim. ”Long time no see, Prime,” the man said.

Ryuk sighed sharply, biting his tongue. Great, he thought. As if Ryzen wasn’t enough—now another crazy guy shows up.

He pointed at Ryzen, ”There’s another one... Prime.”

The golden-haired man—Mark—narrowed his eyes. ”What?”

Across the room, Ryzen remained still, but his attention had shifted—locked onto Edward.

His Meta-bot’s voice echoed around him. ”That one... the silver-black Ranger... he’s the only one here who can kill you, without much effort”

Ryzen gritted his teeth. ”If he survives,” the bot warned, ”you’ll get your chance but Until then, lay low.”

Edward looked at his sons

”I want you to get a hold of yourselves, children,” he said, voice like steel. ”This is no time to mourn what should have been. Look at what is. It’s time to adapt—faster than anyone else—if you want to survive.”

He turned away and walked with heavy, purposeful steps, scanning the room. All around him were scared faces. Some were crying. Others were desperately looking for an escape from the battle room. But there was no way out.

Then he stopped.

”SILENCE!” he bellowed, and the entire room froze. Every whisper, every breath died in an instant.

”I AM YOUR LEADER FROM NOW ON,” he announced. ”THOSE WHO DON’T AGREE—STEP FORWARD.”

There was a murmur. A few generals exchanged glances. They wanted to protest, but fear held them in place. The situation had shaken even the strongest among them. For once, taking charge wasn’t about rank—it was about survival. And none of them had answers.

Then, one man stepped forward.

”I do,” said a general-ranked Rogue, voice cocky, ”I’ve always wondered what it’d be like to lead the whole—”

He never finished the sentence.

In a flash, Edward’s armored fist struck him across the chest, sending him flying. He crashed against the floor, coughing violently as the wind was knocked from his ribs as the metal fist landed on human flesh.

Edward stood still, hand outstretched from the punch, his armor humming around his fist masterfully.

”Get up,” he said coldly, ”and I will kill you.”

The entire room fell into stunned silence.

The rogue groaned and cursed, clutching his stomach. He was in pain and he had no time to react, ”Cheap shot,”

”Stay down,” came a withered voice beside Edward.

Julian stepped forward, eyes sharp despite his age. ”If you want to oppose him... you’ll have to face both of us.”

The rogue paled.

Two of the strongest generals—standing together. It wasn’t a fight he could win. Gritting his teeth, he backed down, grumbling as he sat, still glaring at onlookers.

Julian raised his voice just enough. ”I’m supporting Ed. You all better listen.”

No one moved.

The room—now quiet—slowly began to breathe again, but with a new awareness...There was an order. There was leadership. And if they wanted to survive, they’d follow the ones strong enough to lead through chaos.

The two generals—Edward and Julian—nodded to each other, a silent understanding passing between them.

They remembered too well what happened last time. The chaos, the delay in leadership, the deaths caused by reckless decisions and ego-fueled power grabs. They would not let history repeat itself.

”Thanks,” Edward muttered under his breath.

”I’m just doing what’s best for all of us,” Julian replied, scanning the room for a place to sit. ”And besides... you wanted to lead, didn’t you? Max told me.”

He laughed softly, shuffling toward what looked like an empty wall. The others watched as he placed his hand on a smooth, square panel.

With a beep, the surface lit up. Suddenly, the sterile silence of the battle room was replaced with a pulse of blue light.

Five metallic containers emerged from the walls, each filled with greenish glowing liquid. At the same time, the once solid walls shifted and slid apart, forming doorways into adjacent chambers.

”There are rooms for everyone,” Julian announced, waving lazily behind him. ”I’ll leave things to you, Ed. My old bones need rest.”

Tyson stepped forward, eyes narrowing as he studied the containers. Information flickered to life across a small screen at the base of one of them.

Healing Pods.

Whatever this place was... It wasn’t built just for death. If he managed to somehow survive he can get back to her. He must, for her and for their love.

The white Meta-bot blicked on his chest as if sensing his emotions but before that he needed to talk to his team members, they were still scared and anxious unlike Alex. who looked irritated and oddly calm about everything but somehow Tyson knew he must been thinking about Seraphina...
