Battle Of Planets

Chapter 111: Tournament has began!
Nancy trembled. Her eyes darted across the street, desperately searching for Tyson. He was just there. Just steps away from her. He was smiling, walking toward her, his hand were outstretched as if reaching out to her but now...He was gone. Vanished.

A strange hum vibrated beneath her feet, haunting—like the very Earth was mourning alongside her. She took a staggering step forward, staring at the spot where he had just stood.

Where red petals now lay scattered and Crushed.

The bouquet had fallen to the ground, its stems broken, its blooms bruised—as if the universe had reached down and interrupted their love story.

Cars came to a halt, drivers stepping out, confused by the sound echoing from beneath the surface.

The once-curious crowd dispersed, murmuring anxiously. And the two mysterious warriors—Ryzen and Ryuk—were gone, as if they were never there. Only scorched pavement remained.

Nancy knelt slowly, her fingers trembling as she reached out for the ruined flowers. Tears spilled down her cheeks.

She pressed the bouquet to her chest, sobbing, her eyes frantically scanning the ground—There it is— An empty box.

The velvet ring box lay open, hollow, and aching, just like her chest. ”Where are you...?” she whispered, her voice cracking like glass. ”Tyson...”

Then the sky split open with thunder for a moment.

Gasps echoed around her as every screen—every phone, every digital billboard, every smart lens, and every AI panel—flashed with a unified, global broadcast. A shimmering displayed one message to all.

THE TOURNAMENT HAS BEGUN...

The words clung to them like a heartbeat, for all those who witnessed the spectacle.

A list of faces began appearing mid-air—dozens until it reached a hundred. Each was accompanied by their name, their power score, and their single current image.

And then... Tyson Roger.

Her breath caught in her throat. His photo hovered, he was wearing the same suit he was wearing, he looked shocked, trembling like—plucked from Earth and thrown into something far bigger than either of them.

”No...” she whispered.

They were so close. This was supposed to be the beginning of something beautiful for them. She had waited so long And yet fate—fate had stolen him, like it once stole her father.

She fell to her hands, crawling across the rough asphalt of the road, her palms scraping as she moved. But she didn’t care until she saw the ring.

It had rolled beneath a parked vehicle; its silver band gleamed, and the triangular shape shone with promise once he had given it to her.

She reached for it, sobbing, blood and dirt mixing on her skin. ”This was meant to be mine... I was supposed to wear it...” she cried.

She clutched it like it was the last piece of him left on Earth.

Above her, the world continued watching in awe, excitement, fear, and trepidation.

Phones buzzed. News anchors stumbled over words. Social feeds exploded with theories and terror.

And Nancy?

She just held the ring to her heart, whispering through her tears, ”Come back to me, Tyson. No matter what... You have to come back to me, alive.”

At the Farmhouse,

Seraphina burst into the shower room, barefoot on cold tiles, her robe drenched by steam and sweat.

”Alex?” she called out, her voice cracking.

The water pounded against the floor, but there was no shadow behind the glass. Just the sound—empty and meaningless. The room was silent except for that running stream that mocked her with absence.

She sank to her knees. ”No...” her voice trembled into a sob. ”No, no, no!”

Tears streamed down her face. Her hands clutched her chest. They were newlyweds.

Married just days ago. This was supposed to be their time—their escape.

But He was gone?

She screamed, the kind of scream only grief knows—the kind that cracks bone and leaves you empty... she lost someone again...

At Babylon

The darkened halls of Babylon’s headquarters glowed faintly with red lights.

Albert stood with his shoulders shaking, Then came the laugh.

It was hysterical, sharp enough to silence every guard nearby. His hand covered half his face as he stared at the floating image of Edward Rogers.

Edward. Gone. And not just him—his sons, too. Alex and Tyson. All summoned. His laugh continued, deeper... finally his son would feel at ease after knowing their enemies were no more.

”You’re finished,” he whispered to the screen with triumph. ”You’re finally finished, Edward. Your legend ends here.”

And then another screen blinked to life: Ryuk—his new rival—gone too.

So what if his own power point just raised by only four? His recent boost brought him to eighty-three. He was the second strongest now, right behind Max—since Julian, though numerically superior, could barely lift his own weapon anymore.

Babylon would rise and he would make sure to Take Victor’s family back and let his son do as he pleases with the women who broke him. Who was the reason for his pain...

----

At Utopia

Silence reigned in the grand chamber of the Utopian General.

Max sat with shoulders slumped, the light from the floating screen reflecting in his eyes.

There it was. His son’s face, Mark... Summoned.

His boy, barely strong enough to bear the weight of a Ranger, was now in that place—the Tournament.

He’d seen it before and Fought in it before. And now his child would walk through that hell, too.

Max’s fist clenched—and in one swift motion, he slammed it down.

The oak table cracked beneath his raw strength, splintering out in protest.

Julian and Edward’s face floated next in the line. Max turned to them, his dear friends and the people once he led and survived with were back in the hellhole again...

”Why am I here?” he growled, eyes bloodshot. ”WHY am I here—safe—while they fight?”

No one had an answer.

---

Tyson stood motionless—frozen between metal and memory.

The floor beneath him pulsed faintly with neon blue veins, humming with unnatural life. The platform stretched around him till it hit the wall. Other summoned warriors appeared around him, disoriented, some shaking, some crying out—but Tyson didn’t see them.

He only saw the crushed flowers. The velvet box. Her smile which was not in sight anymore.

”N-Nancy...” he whispered.

A lump rose in his throat. His eyes darted to his hands—still outstretched and holding nothing. He had meant to hand her the bouquet, to drop to one knee, to change both their lives forever. Instead...

He was here. Summoned. His knees felt weak as he collapsed on his knees.

His breathing quickened, and Sweat clung to his temples. His lips trembled. He clutched the empty air where the ring should’ve been.

”Why...?” His voice came low, ”Why again...?”

He had no parents left. No home. Love had always been a distant dream—until Edward gave him one. Until Nancy made it feel real. And now, even that had been stripped from him. Torn out of his hands like everything else.

”Why do you hate me?” he asked—not to anyone in the room, but to something greater. ”Why do you keep taking everything from me?”

No armor. No mask. Just a boy who wanted to be loved, And now, he was a warrior in a war he never asked for.

Tyson blinked soulless until a figure stepped into focus. A tall young man. Dripping wet. Wearing nothing but a towel wrapped lazily around his waist.

And smiling.

Alex.

Tyson’s lips parted in disbelief. For a second, everything paused.

Alex crossed his arms, ”Well,” he said with a half-snort, ”that didn’t go as planned, huh?”

Tyson stared, lips trembling, chest still heaving. he remained silent.

Alex’s smirk faltered as he took his own form, suddenly aware of the ridiculousness of his own state. Still wet. Still in a towel. No weapon. just Meta-bot watch around his wrist. ”Fuck.”
