Super Electric Eel Avatar

The boss, Mr. Zhao, who was analyzing the gold content, also came forward. He returned the coin to Chen Fan. Then, he said with a ruddy face, ”Based on our analysis results, the coin’s purity is 98%, so it is still good in terms of quality. How about we settle it with the price of 275 yuan per gram?”

Since the price of 275 yuan per gram matched the current market price, Chen Fan agreed to sell the coin at the proposed price. After seeing the two people off, Chen Fan rode on the electric eel to Argyll’s world again, where he would look for him to renegotiate the deal regarding the crossbow.

After realizing the price and importance of palladium from Zhang Xueyang, Chen Fan thought that he should grab this opportunity to collect some. Chen Fan currently possessed five oil tankers, two freighters that were sailing in the sea, and one more intermediate shipyard. This was considered not to be a great deal, even if the metal business was included in the small company, which only handled finance and daily business.

While waiting for Chen Fan to drive the armored personnel carrier to the beach, Argyll, who was wearing a purple robe, was busy doing something on the deck with the muscular Barru. Argyll was focused on tidying up some glass bottles and tin cans. Barru, whose height could be compared with Yao Ming’s, carried a red bag, which held a steel javelin and a huge knife.

”What are you guys preparing for?” Chen Fan walked to the deck and saw the two heavily armed men. It looked like they were preparing for a war.

”We are going to capture the Hurricane Bird!” Argyll smiled gently, as he inserted a bottle of red powder into his pocket. ”The Hurricane Bird is a rare species that is only found in Rork Island. Their wings are 20 meters in length and their feathers are a dusty brown color. They are expert in long-distance travelling and are able to fly for two days continuously, without resting! Barru and I are preparing to capture a fledgling, so that each of us can train them as flying mounts.”

”Comparing the Hurricane Bird with my Golden Hawk, which is more powerful?” Chen Fan aimed to vet his own ride.

Argyll answered, ”Excluding all of the intelligent animals, your Golden Hawk could be considered to be one of the three top mounts. It is also the biggest and fastest among all of the mounts. If it were to have intelligence, it could compete with even gigantic dragons!”

Argyll’s praise made Chen Fan feel embarrassed. ”Then, why don’t you go and capture this Golden Hawk? Aren’t you always boasting that you’ve slayed dragons by yourself before? Based on what you have said, capturing a Golden Hawk wouldn’t be a problem for you!”

”That…That was an adult dragon, not a gigantic dragon!”

”Golden Hawks may not be born with magic casting talent, but with their gigantic size, I would have been long dead if I had not killed off their parents immediately. Besides, they build their nests on some extremely steep cliffs, so surely you aren’t expecting me to climb the mountains to get there!”

”Ok, right!” Chen Fan took out the palladium coin from his pocket, then swung it in front of him and said, ”I feel this kind of coin, which is used by the orcs, is quite good. So, for this deal, let’s make it with half gold ingot and half silver ingot!”

”Well…” Argyll looked down. He was rubbing his beard repeatedly, not making a sound.

Seeing his hesitation, Chen Fan then asked, ”Aren’t you one of the six elders of the Royal Magic Caster Council? Even the king enjoys having conversation with you! Can’t this small request be fulfilled?”

”This is not the reason for my hesitation. Rather, it is because our kingdom is a small country, with a population of less than five million. Thus, we don’t have a big amount of silver coins on reserve.”

”If that’s the case, then just cooperate with Barru!” Chen Fan snuck a glance at the big man. ”Didn’t you say that he is the most outstanding genius in the War God Tribe? Since the patriarch of that tribe is his relative, exchanging even hundreds of millions of silver coins with the tribe shouldn’t be a problem, right?”

Hearing the mentioning of the orc Barru, Argyll mumbled and bantered, then felt that it was impossible to continue fooling around anymore. So, he replied, ”The War God Tribe is just a small tribe. As such, they do not have much. Besides, exchanging two hundred tons of silver coins, isn’t that too much?”

”Then, I will get you a discount!” Chen Fan thought for a few seconds, ”How far is your country from this island?”

”A whole thousand miles!”

”How about this? I will construct a 500-ton transport ship for you, which can travel for seven hundred miles and will take three days for a round trip. While you are operating the transport business, you can also assign someone to trade the silver coins in other countries.”

”Well...Erm...Well...”

”That’s settled, then. I won’t sell it otherwise!” Chen Fan, who had monopolized the resources, fully utilized his style of conducting forceful business, then said, ”I will send the transport ship here, once everything is completed!” After saying that, he blew a whistle, summoning Cloudracer out of nowhere. He then mounted his hawk and disappeared in front of the two envious people!

”How about we go and capture this Golden Hawk?” Barru gulped.

”One must be realistic!” Argyll said. ”Let’s go! Let’s capture our Hurricane Bird!”

”Old man, where do you think this guy is from? He not only has many mysterious machines, but he even has stunning pets, including a Snow Queen and a black monster that is even stronger than the Snow Queen. He even has a Golden Hawk, which everyone desires!”

”He is a different type of person, who knows dimensional magic spells!” Argyll whispered while walking, ”Dimensional magic casters only exist in theory, so that kid must really have something special!”

...

Under the sunlight, the white, delicate beach shone. A serpent, which had scales more reflective than any mirror, was lying lazily, enjoying the sunlight on the beach.

”Winterfrost, how old are you now?” Chen Fan asked leisurely, while lying on the fur mattress with a reed in his mouth.

After one month of attentive teaching, the white serpent was able to use words to express its own feelings. Chen Fan thought that, since it already had intelligence, it was now necessary to name it. After long hours of brainstorming, he realized that ’Winterfrost’ was a suitable name for it.

According to Argyll, the purple fruit that it ate last time, was a well-known fruit of wisdom. This fruit was extremely rare. Legend said that the fruit was crystalized in the bodies of dead moon elves. If creatures with moderate intelligences consumed it, they would become more intelligent, then be transformed into precious pets and mounts!

”I can’t remember. I started to have memories when my body was half the size it is now. My parents were besieged by many sea creatures, and I was escaping and fleeing. Later, I found a cave to hide within, and that’s where I lived until today!”

Winterfrost’s voice was very soft. Chen Fan felt that its voice sounded like a flute playing. While the tune was quite good, the words were still not yet clear, and were simple and repeatable.

”Was this the cave?”

”Yes!”

Poor you!” Chen Fan said. ”Whoever bullies you again, just tell me next time. I will kill them for you!”

”Great!” Winterfrost agreed.

Time flew by quickly during their conversation. As the afternoon came, Chen Fan bid Winterfrost goodbye, then returned to the stone tower with his electric eel.

Reaching the third level of the stone tower, Chen Fan used a measuring cup to store 500ml of crystal powder, then sprinkled it evenly in the Ghost Moon Incense. Hundreds of blue crystals had already been used up.

And, although the electric eel had no significant changes in terms of size, its discharge intensity, physical quality, and venom concentration were becoming more and more powerful! Its current discharge intensity could reach up to 150,000 volts, while its swimming speed could reach up to 250 knots! Also, it shed its old skin three days ago. As a result, its skin became darker and shinier, just like obsidian from a volcanic eruption!

Buzz… Buzz...

A brisk tone of notification stopped Chen Fan in the middle of what he was doing. He cleaned the powder off of his hands, sat in front of his computer, then saw a message that had just been sent by Zhang Xueyang.

”Brother Chen, there is good news! Call us back immediately!”

”Alright!”

After sending the confirmation message, using the account named ’White Limb Buffalo,’ he traveled across the sea with his electric eel.

”What’s the good news?” Chen Fan questioned upon his arrival.

Zhang Xueyang spoke excitedly. ”There’s a good business opportunity for you! Come to meet me at Xing An Tea House on Caiyi Street. I will explain to you in detail!”

Chen Fan was confused by this. By the time he reached Caiyi Street on his Maybach, half an hour had passed. He saw Zhang Xueyang waiting at the entrance of the tea house from afar. Chen Fan couldn’t stop his head from spinning, while he stared at the various beautiful ladies, who were standing along the street.
