Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1737: Devastating Life of a Barbarian Blacksmith

The first time Fjorge set foot in the land of the living, he arrived in the middle of an intense battle between humans and demons.

When the demons sensed the aura of a seasoned Supreme radiating from him, they erupted into cheers, believing he had come to fight on their side.

Fjorge was indeed an imposing and, at the same time, terrifying figure. After spending hundreds of thousands of years in Hell, surviving the horrors of the Damnation Arena, he was hardly any different from a Hell demon.

He had no horns, but the overwhelming aura he had forged through endless bloodshed made him even more terrifying than most demons.

However, after learning that his family had perished at the hands of Hell demons, Fjorge had grown to hate their race with every fiber of his being. That hatred was what had driven him to kill the Hell Emperor and countless other Hell demons.

After taking the hell emperor throne, he issued a single decree.

No Hell demon would ever again be allowed to set foot in the land of the living.

By then, he had finally come to understand that while he had become a legend in Hell, he had also unknowingly killed countless innocent humans, dragons, demons, and other living beings who had been kidnapped and forced into the Damnation Arena, just as he had.

But while he regretted that part of his past...

Killing Hell demons was not among those regrets.

He had enjoyed every second of it.

So when he saw demons slaughtering humans, he didn’t even bother asking who was right or wrong.

He simply began massacring the demons as though they were his lifelong enemies.

By the time the battle ended, even the humans he had saved were terrified of him.

Fjorge merely smirked before turning and walking away, intending to search for the family he already knew belonged to the barbarian race.

Unfortunately, he soon realised that finding them in a universe this vast wasn’t something that could be accomplished by wandering from one planet to another.

He needed to adapt.

Otherwise, he would never achieve anything.

Hell had been far simpler than the worlds of the living.

He knew he had to adapt. However, he soon came to another realisation.

Aside from smashing living things to death with a hammer, he possessed no practical skills that could earn him a living.

However...

He needed money.

He needed a reputation.

He needed connections.

Without them, navigating the complexities of the universe would be impossible.

”Fuck... why did I even come to the land of the living?” Fjorge cursed aloud before dropping onto his backside atop a mountain overlooking a vast sea of lava.

”At least the scenery here is far more pleasing than anything in Hell.”

He chuckled before falling onto his back and drifting into a deep sleep. Seeing a vast sea of lava as pleasing to the eye, even said everything about him.

That nap lasted ten years.

When he finally woke up, it was because a group of humans had disturbed his sleep.

To Fjorge, who is muscular and tall, these humans were merely bugs.

There were three of them—identical twin siblings and their older sister, who had already reached the Demigod Realm.

From their conversation, he learned they had come to the mountain to mine ore for their father, who is a blacksmith.

It was the first time Fjorge had ever heard the term blacksmith.

Back in Hell, no one forged weapons.

They either hunted for them as natural born treasures in the countless Hell Seas or shaped bones and other materials into crude weapons through battle itself.

His curiosity was instantly piqued.

He helped the siblings gather far more ore than they had hoped to collect and even carried everything back to their home.

Then, for the very first time...

He witnessed blacksmithing.

The rhythmic ringing of a hammer against metal.

The glowing furnace.

The transformation of raw ore into a weapon.

He fell in love with it immediately.

”I like hammering things,” Fjorge said as he looked at the man before him. ”So this is probably the only thing I would be capable of doing. Please... take me as your disciple.”

The blacksmith before him had yet to reach the Demigod Realm.

Under normal circumstances, someone like him should have been begging to become Fjorge’s disciple.

Instead, that day...

Immortal Blacksmith Ricado became the first man in history to accept a Supreme as his disciple.

Ten years later...

Immortal Blacksmith Ricado stood frozen, his jaw hanging open as he stared at the finest dagger he had ever laid eyes upon.

Fjorge stood behind the anvil, sweat trickling down his body as he smiled broadly at his master—or perhaps more accurately, his equal now.

Regardless, he had created the finest weapon any immortal had ever forged since the beginning of time.

But Immortal Blacksmith Ricado’s stunned expression wasn’t because of the dagger’s flawless beauty; it was because of the runes inscribed upon it.

Under normal circumstances, Immortal-grade weapons could hold only 10,000 runes. However, the dagger resting on the table before him contained 55,000 runes. This meant every aspect of craftsmanship that had gone into forging the dagger was flawless.

”I will call it Midnight Dagger,” Fjorge said.

The dagger hummed, releasing a mist of darkness. The sight further stunned the poor Ricado, who immediately fell to his knees.

”Please, Senior Fjorge, take me as your disciple and teach me proper blacksmithing.”

Fjorge laughed out loud, set down his hammer, and lifted Immortal Blacksmith Ricado to his feet.

”No need for such formality, Master. I am your disciple, so regardless of how high I climb, I will always see you as my master. And I will make sure the rest of the universe knows that.”

That night, Fjorge and Immortal Blacksmith Ricado drank to their hearts’ content.

Over the next couple of days, Fjorge forged many new weapons, further cementing his mastery of blacksmithing. A year later, he left to pursue even greater knowledge.

However, before departing, he left behind thousands of years’ worth of blacksmithing knowledge for his master.

He knew it would be a long time before he returned, so he carefully documented everything he had learned.

He even included several outrageous theories that he believed would, if his master dared to experiment with them, greatly improve his craft.

Thousands of years later, the name Fjorge began to spread across cities, continents, planets, star systems, galaxies, and eventually the entire universe.

In time, he became known as the [Nine Underworld Flame Blacksmith], simply because he commanded nine Sacred Flames that he had personally extracted from the Underworld.

After becoming the Supreme Blacksmith, the Flame Dao recognised him as one of its legendary wielders after he proclaimed the true names of all nine Sacred Flames under his command.

When the announcement spread across the universe, a small tribe of barbarians in a remote corner of the cosmos heard the news. Because both the name and title were included in the announcement, the tribe recognised him immediately.

That day, a father and mother who had mourned the death of their son for thousands of years finally found him again.

Kaelgorin Fjorge was the name his father had given him on the day he was born, and it had stayed with him throughout his life.

It took them another ten years to reunite with their son.

On that day, even the heavens celebrated, for the son whose destiny had been to destroy the universe while searching for his parents finally reunited with them, erasing that fate forever.

The happy ending so many dreamed of finally came to pass for that small family.

Fjorge had two younger sisters and a younger brother. In time, he became the King of the Barbarians and came to dominate the world of blacksmithing.

When the Flame Race invaded, he lifted his hammer once more and marched into battle, determined to ensure that the family he had finally found would continue to live on for countless eras.

Kent snapped his eyes open, and a powerful aura of flames, blood, and killing intent erupted from his body. Fortunately, when he had passed out, the tower had transported him to the Sword Tower.

As a result, the terrifying aura emanating from his body had no effect on anyone. Veth and Flura had already been informed by the tower that Kent was safe and would return before long.

The moment he awakened, his cultivation surged into the Immortal Emperor stage and kept rising.
