Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1714: Arriving in The Dead World

It took Lilian and Dia 30 more minutes to handle their side of the battle.

As expected, Dia killed all 10 demigods. Well, she personally killed only six of them, since the other four died fighting their own teammates, whom they thought were their heart demons.

But the most important thing was, unlike her sister Unity, she didn’t blink when killing her opponents.

Lilian also killed her opponents, but she sustained some injuries. Even so, considering how inconsequential those injuries were, it could be said that with just her Peak-Rank Immortal King cultivation base, she was able to kill demigods.

That was impressive in many ways.

Kent could do it because he was Kent. But for someone like Lilian, who wasn’t even close to the Immortal Lord stage, doing the same thing was commendable.

After they were done, Kent gathered all the dead bodies and stored them inside the Legion Tower. Once Veera returned, she would use them to improve her undead warriors. As for the demigods Unity fought and the three agents from the Soul Temple, he would reserve them for Sylara.

She would use their blood essence to draw more Blood Tattoos.

”You all have done well,” Kent said, seated inside a restaurant with Lilian, Unity, and Dia.

After Sahir left for the Celestial Realm, Kent stayed outside the Ice Planet for two weeks, healing the rest of his injuries.

Later, the Tower informed him that Unity’s team had arrived at their mission location, so he teleported there to keep a close eye on them.

He had already made them aware that he would be nearby and that if they found themselves in trouble, he would step in to help.

He stuck to that promise, and the moment he sensed danger, he stepped in.

”Thank you for saving us, too. If you hadn’t stopped those three, perhaps we would have found ourselves in trouble,” Unity replied, very happy that they had completed their mission.

Kent nodded at her words.

”So, what do you have planned next?” he asked, now that they were done with their first mission.

He already had plans with Veth.

He planned to reunite with Lady Wu before going elsewhere, and since she had an upcoming auction, he wanted to attend and, if possible, buy anything that caught his eye.

It would also be a nice reunion since they met in an auction house.

”We’ll be going on another mission since there are still more of them left. But first, we’ll return to the Tower to absorb the treasures we received as rewards for completing the mission.”

”Sounds like a great plan. However, before returning to the Tower, we should eat something first.”

They ordered their food and started eating.

However, while they were busy eating, Uncle Drew and his team of Night Riders arrived at the borders of the Dead World riding their Hellhorses.

Just like there are outposts for the most dangerous realms, where one must meet special conditions before being allowed entry, the Dead World also had such outposts.

It was a city built 100 kilometers away from the Dead Planet. It stood majestic in space, and it mostly housed cultivators who cultivated Death Qi.

While possessing Hellflame was considered a boon when entering such a dangerous world, those who cultivated only Death Qi could also enter.

However, when Uncle Drew, Nara, Lene, Vargus, Eryndor, and Saden arrived riding their Hellhorses, everyone felt the shift in the air.

The potency of the death aura and Hellflame Qi oozing from their bodies made everyone tremble.

Vargus and Lene were Demigods, so naturally, they made the group of six Night Riders look even more intimidating.

However, Uncle Drew and Nara were Immortal Kings with auras that surpassed most Demigods, while Eryndor and Saden were True Immortals. If anything, this was a solid team.

However, the moment the fear they felt subsided, the foolish among them stepped forward and blocked Uncle Drew and his team’s path.

”This is the territory of the Zahki Clan. Those who wish to pass must pay one million high-grade spirit stones,” an Immortal Lord wearing the look of an arrogant general demanded, hoping to make a fortune from these new faces.

He had never seen them before, meaning they came from far, and most importantly, this was their first time here.

However, before he could say anything else, Uncle Drew threw a pouch containing the required amount of spirit stones to him. He was visibly shaken when he caught it.

However, after the shock left his face, he grinned and opened his palm, beckoning for more.

”This only covers the passage of one person. If all six of you wish to enter, you must pay for all six.”

His shoulders shook slightly, revealing that he was inwardly suppressing laughter.

Of course, everyone around knew that the sole reason this man had the backbone to block six people reeking of death qi was simplly because the Zahki clan was one of the most powerful in the Western Region.

They specialized in cultivating Death Qi, so naturally, the Dead World fell under their jurisdiction.

Nobody dared mess with them, and Uncle Drew’s team, who had done their research before coming, knew this.

Nara waved her hand, and five more pouches flew toward the man, who once again wore a shocked expression as he caught every last one.

Uncle Drew gestured for them to move toward the portal that led directly to the Dead World. After all, they had paid for passage.

However, just as they moved, the man cleared his throat and blocked their path once more.

”Hold it right there. You still haven’t paid for your mounts. In case you are unaware, it costs extra to transport a mount to the Dead World.” He gestured with a smirk on his face. ”That will be another six million high-grade spirit stones.”

Uncle Drew’s Hellhorse neighed, clearly angered by what the bastard was trying to pull.

Uncle Drew narrowed his eyes at the man, who seemed to think he could do as he pleased. Unfortunately for him, he had picked the wrong team to mess with.

”Nightblade, kill him.”

”With pleasure.”

Nara’s hand moved to her sword, and before anyone could register what had happened, it was already over. The man’s head rolled to the ground, and that was the end of him.

”In your next life, be careful around dead people,” Uncle Drew said coldly.

”Half-dead,” Nara corrected with a smirk.

”My bad,” Uncle Drew laughed.

While they were akin to dead people, all Night Riders existed between life and death, standing on the boundary that separated the living from the dead.

As such, they were not truly undead.

Turning slightly, Uncle Drew’s gaze landed on the people who were still frozen in shock.

”When they come asking who did this, tell them Kael Duskbane, Captain of the Night Riders, did it.”

His Hellhorse moved forward and kicked away the head of the bastard who had tried to extort them.

Soon, they vanished into the portal, leaving everyone pale.

They had, of course, heard of the legendary Night Riders before. So if what Uncle Drew said was true, perhaps there would soon be quite a show to watch here.

Meanwhile, after entering the portal, the Night Riders appeared in a world shrouded in red mist, with the aura of death permeating every corner.

Uncle Drew surveyed their surroundings to ensure there were no threats nearby. Once he was certain they were all safe, he began formulating a comprehensive plan.

”Our mission is to traverse this dangerous terrain to the Black Star Domain and kill the Black Fire Demon Dragon. As for what we’re really here for, the Young Master said we’ll know when we see it.”
