Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1419: The Ninth Floor - The Damned Prison (2)

[Neomi’s POV]

Neomi, just like her sisters, found herself alone on an island. However, instead of panicking, she decided to calm her mind by meditating while she waited for the mission description to show.

An hour later, it came, and with it was a special mission assigned to her alone.

”No wonder I appeared here. Looks like I will be going for a swim,” she smiled as she read through the details of her special mission.

She is one of the seven.

[Mission Name: Kill Thalassara, The Abyssal Leviathan]

[Cultivation: Spirit Immortal]

[Location: 40 km due west]

[Description: Thalassara dwells in the depths of the Sea. She commands tidal pressure and abyssal currents capable of crushing immortals. No enemy was ever able to escape her wrath.]

Neomi sighed, her expression turning dark. There is nothing about the mission that inspired confidence in her.

The mission is a tough one, and she sees that.

First of all, while she had no problem fighting underwater, the mere fact that her opponent has this much control over the water reeks of danger.

Aside from that, she is also five realms above her. Neomi is a Heavenly Ascension stage cultivator, while her opponent is a Spirit Immortal.

While she had broken over 12 limits already on her body and even awakened some innate abilities, the mere fact that her opponent had entered the Immortal Stage said it all.

There is just no way she can underestimate her. Winning would be extremely hard.

However, she must kill whatever horror is dwelling beneath the sea.

Looking at the spear in her hand, she couldn’t help but smile. ”Linsy, are you ready?” she asked, speaking to her spear.

The silhouette of the 6-armed lady, who is her weapon spirit, appeared and nodded. ”Ready when you are, my lady.”

”In that case, let’s go swimming.” Neomi moved, and soon she was underwater, moving toward the Abyssal Leviathan.

It is going to be a harrowing battle for sure, considering her opponent sensed her presence the moment she entered the water.

[Vexthra’s POV]

Vexthra had also been walking in the scorching hot dune for an hour before the mission description appeared.

To her shock, she received a special mission too.

She was already in shock when her cultivation was suppressed to the True Immortal stage. However, seeing that she had received a mission which required her to fight like an ordinary warrior came as a surprise to her.

There is just no way she expected this to happen, not when they are still not in the god realm.

However, while it was unexpected, she couldn’t help feeling happy that she had finally gotten a chance to help her sisters and friends.

She had watched her sisters fight on the last eight floors. All she did was stand and watch. However, now, she gets to fight, too.

[Mission Name: Kill Dune Revenant, The Sand Tyrant]

[Rank: Immortal Emperor]

[Location: 800 km due west]

[Description: He is the king of the desert, holding supreme command over the sand. Once a soul wanders into his domain, the only thing that remains is their bones.]

”Two realms above me, huh?” Vexthra smiled and continued on her way. She was already heading west long before the mission arrived.

She, just like Unity, also uses the bow.

However, she is also proficient in Array combat, so seeing that she was already fiddling with her rune knife, there is a big chance she will be using arrays and formations for the battle.

[Lilian’s POV]

Lilian stood on the blood-soaked battlefield, reading through her special mission. She is also among the seven who have received special missions.

[Mission Name: Kill the Bloodhowl Devourer]

[Rank: Spirit Immortal Peak]

[Location: 30 km due east]

[Description: The more blood he devours, the stronger he becomes. For any cut he inflicts, there is thrice the pain.]

”Hmm. This is going to be a crazy one,” she sighed and then started moving just like what Unity and the others did. The mission is simple: the target they were assigned must die.

That is the only way they can leave this place. Until all seven calamity beasts die, none would be able to leave.

Their connection to the tower at the moment had been severed, so they are on their own.

Of course, even if the others were to come to them, the mission stated that they should kill their targets themselves.

So, knowing this, she prepared both mentally and spiritually to end this battle with her life intact.

---

[Kaizo’s POV]

After he ceremoniously jumped into the portal, he found himself alone atop a mountain. Around him in every direction were giant rocks.

Kaizo became alert and was ready for battle the instant he arrived on this mountain. However, as the minutes went by and no target came to him as they did with Kent, he started to get bored.

He came to fight only to find himself stuck in one place, unable to reach out to his pals or have any opponent to battle.

The least he could do was throw stones off the mountain. Thankfully, that helped him survive long enough for the mission description to appear.

The moment he saw that he had received a special mission, he smiled broadly.

”Finally. I was bored to death,” he grinned and opened the description of his special mission.

[Mission Name: Kill the Gravemaw Colossus]

[Rank: True Immortal]

[Location: Below the Mountain]

[Description: Forged from undying stone, his skin is as thick as the strongest metal, and his control over gravity is unmatched.]

”Well, I know only one thing, and that is he will be shattered into chunks of stone soon,” Kaizo spoke with confidence and a slight grin.

While Neomi and the others are dreading their opponent, Kaizo seems a bit more excited to be facing someone already at the True Immortal stage.

Kent already knows Kaizo is different compared to the other undead under his command. His bloodline came from an ancient race that lived long before the Primordial Chaos Dragon appeared.

So if there’s anyone he can trust to create miracles, it would be Kaizo. Of course, his opponent is 7 realms above him, but that wouldn’t shake his resolve.

He had been waiting for this moment for a while now.

He activated his wings, allowing all four pairs to spread, their metallic golden color painting the space around him.

”Here I come.”

Taking a nosedive, he plunged into the darkness below, heading straight for his opponent.

[Veera’s POV]

Veera, however, found herself in an abandoned city, appearing atop a tall mansion. From the moment she arrived, the feeling of being watched overwhelmed her senses.

However, no matter where she looked, there was nothing in sight that would suggest where the danger was coming from.

So she kept watch, and an hour later, her mission came.

[Mission Name: Kill the Bone Plague Matriarch]

[Rank: Immortal King]

[Location: Center of the Rotting City]

[Description: She commands swarms of insects and spreads necrotic corruption everywhere her insect swarm goes.]

The moment she saw the rank of her opponent and what she was capable of, Veera summoned her five True Immortal Undead. The mission said she must kill her opponent herself. However, since she is a necromancer, she is allowed to use her undead summons.

”We should get this handled quickly.” A smile appeared on her face, causing her five Undead to furrow their brows.

”Of course, don’t destroy their bodies. I feel like they would be perfect for what I have planned after this mission.”

They nodded and moved away, heading toward the center of the city. Veera stayed back, but she could see everything through the eyes of her Undead.
