Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 318: The Last Day of the Auction

”Are you ladies ready?” Kent asked, looking at the lineup of some of the most beautiful ladies in the entire world standing in front of him.

”We are ready, dear,” Selene answered, causing Kent to nod.

Using his mind, he moved everyone out of the tower straight into the carriage that was parked outside the hotel they were supposed to be staying in.

Why stay in a hotel when you have a tower?

The hotel was like a placeholder. Enjoy new stories from

The ladies sat down, and Uncle started driving them back to the auction house.

”So today is the last day, huh? I wonder what they are going to sell,” Ingrid said as they began moving toward the auction house.

They had asked Alina what would be sold, but she said she knew nothing, and even if she did, she wouldn’t say anything.

She wanted them to experience the full auction experience by getting excited when an item was revealed. If they knew in advance, they wouldn’t enjoy the auction.

Of course, a few minutes ago, she told them the items would cause many bidding wars that might escalate outside the auction house. So they were all wondering just what was being sold on the last day.

Then again, they knew if they saw something they wanted, they wouldn’t lose the bid, for they knew their man was super rich.

”You ladies don’t have to wonder about anything. Just get ready to bid when you see an item you want,” Kent said to them, making them smile and look at each other.

”But how are we going to get back to the sect?” Unity asked. ”I mean, Kent has already pissed off a lot of people. These people wouldn’t just let him go after the auction, so how are we going to get back to the sect?”

The ladies, who were all wondering the same thing, looked at Kent for a solution.

They had already been attacked twice, so who was to say they wouldn’t try a third time? They were obviously worried for their man. Kent simply smiled and spoke.

”You ladies shouldn’t worry. Right now, what you should be concerned about is how many people you’re going to piss off this last day. Getting back to the academy will be as easy as walking through the front gate.”

”Are you sure? If you’re not certain, you can ask the Sword King for a favor. From the way he spoke last time, I’m sure he’d be happy to escort us back to the academy,” Lilian said.

”I’ll consider that. But as I said, you ladies shouldn’t be worried. By the time we get to the gates of the academy, I’m sure some of these people will be on their knees begging me to forgive them,” Kent said with an evil smile, making the ladies wonder what sinister plan he was cooking up.

After moving through the busy streets for a couple of minutes, they arrived at the auction house, where some of the most luxurious carriages were dropping off the rich and wealthy who had come for the last day of the auction.

There were hundreds of people there.

Some were talking to their fellow rich folks, while some were giving each other stares. The rivalry could be seen and felt vividly.

Immediately, Kent and his ladies alighted from their carriage; everyone turned toward them.

Killing intents were locked on them from all directions. It was like they had been waiting for him to appear so they could do that.

It was quite funny watching this rich folk act this way. It was like they were just not living up to their values.

Kent smirked and then turned toward his right.

There, he came face to face with the three Metal Saints: Rocky, Adolf, and Andrew, who, thanks to Kent, had let go of their grudges and chosen to team up against him.

”Brat, have your fun today, for after the auction, you will not live long to enjoy it,” Metal Saint Andrew threatened, not minding the many people listening.

”Oooh, I am so scared. Look, there are goosebumps on my skin,” Kent grinned, watching the expressions of the three blacksmiths darken.

”Let me make something clear,” Kent turned and looked at everyone around. ”I won the bids, yet they are trying to steal from me. Personally, I want them to come after me, for that will give me an excuse to kill them.

Now, if you wake up in the coming days and hear that one of these three—or perhaps all three of them—are dead, none of you should try to seek revenge for them.

Trust me, you wouldn’t want your families to pay for your foolishness.

So I’ll say this once: If you three come after me, I promise you, I will kill you, and not even your backers will be able to do anything about it.”

Kent spoke with a smile on his face as he started to move inside. After a few steps, he stopped and looked back at the three.

He still had some things to get off his chest.

”I was initially planning to give you a chance to buy something today, but because of your threat, I will bid ten times the price, even if it’s a needle.

What I mean is, today, the three of you won’t be walking away with even a beast core.” Kent laughed and left with his ladies, who were trying to hold back their laughter.

The look on the three blacksmiths’ faces was just too amusing.

After Kent left, the three Blacksmiths exchanged looks and also entered the auction house. They had already made up their minds: they and Kent could not live on the same continent after the auction.

However, for now, they would try their best to show the brat that they were not known as Metal Saints for nothing—they were rich enough to handle someone like him.

Unfortunately for them, all the materials they would bid on were things Kent needed for his next undead creation.

In a way, Kent also needed anything a blacksmith needed; thus, their animosity would only grow with each item up for bidding.

A while later, everyone was seated, and Alina appeared on the stage with a smile.

”Welcome, everyone, to the last day of the annual auction. Before we start, I would like to share some unfortunate news,” Alina said calmly.

”It is with regret that I report the entourage from the Malric family, which includes the head of the Malric noble family, met an unfortunate end at the hands of unknown assailants on their way to the final day of the auction.

None of them survived. Our condolences go out to them and their family.”

Alina spoke like the most sympathetic person alive, though in truth, she was more than happy to hear that such scum of a family had been massacred.

At that very moment, the rest of their family, involved in the slave business, were being hunted and killed as she spoke.

Saden and her three teammates were doing a thorough house cleaning, for she wouldn’t be happy until they were all dead.

”Now, before we begin, the Auction Master would like to say a few words,” Alina said as the veiled beauty who had appeared the previous day walked onto the stage.
