Global Gods: Start with a lottery system

Chapter 201 Competition GatheringSoon the official notice of the competition was implemented. There was only a simple invitation letter placed in the mailbox at the door of Xu Yi’s dormitory. It read:

Dear ___, we sincerely invite you to participate in the comprehensive college student competition jointly organized by the seven cities of Blue Star. I wish you can achieve something in the competition and add luster to your school. Thank you for your participation!

The horizontal part is obviously waiting for people to sign their real names, but Xu Yi did not intend to sign rashly. Revealing all real names is like exposing his landline number. It will be easy for others to make sales calls, harassment calls, or even threatening calls in the future.

In addition, gods with predictive abilities can easily query the location through the landline number, and gods with curse abilities can directly destroy the phone and so on.

He squeezed the envelope and found a piece of paper inside. After unfolding it, Xu Yi found that it should be a letter from the school:

”Please gather at 1 pm on June 23 in the 404 conference room on the fourth floor of the Academic Affairs Building. Someone will explain the rules of this competition, the items to bring, and guide you to fill out the invitation letter.”

Put the invitation letter and the notice back into the envelope. What else can he do? He can only go and see tomorrow afternoon.

...

On June 23, at 12:30 noon, Xu Yi knocked on Du Yuanfei’s dormitory door... The two went to the Academic Affairs Building together.

When they came out of the elevator on the fourth floor, Han, the tutor, was sitting on a row of soft seats next to them. When he saw the two, his eyes lit up: ”You came early, don’t be nervous, just go in and listen to Professor Huo’s explanation. He is the person who has been in charge of the Qidu Comprehensive Competition many times and has a lot of experience.”

He patted Xu Yi on the shoulder, and the two nodded to him, and then entered the conference room.

Han, the tutor, did not follow up. He was obviously just arranged here to confirm the arrival of the two.

There were several counselors around him whom neither Xu Yi nor Xu Yi had seen before, waiting for someone to come.

Entering the meeting room, he pulled out a seat and sat down. There were two seats left. The first person to arrive was an acquaintance they had just parted ways with, Su Lishi. He was the one who was selected from the sophomore class.

He was a relatively taciturn person and nodded to the two of them lightly, which was considered a greeting.

At 12:50, the remaining two arrived. Although they had never met, Xu Yi could easily identify the two people with distinct styles.

The tall, thin, serious face, the vice president of the student union, Fengzhu Xu Jian.

The slightly shorter, medium-length hair, should be the mysterious and recognized powerful student union president, Pei Dianyu.

After smiling at the few people in a friendly manner, the two sat down.

At 12:55, an old man with half-gray hair and strict attire walked in. Led by Pei Dianyu and Xu Jian, after several people stood up and said ”Hello, Professor Huo”, and the old man nodded, the briefing officially began.

The participation invitation letter naturally does not require participating students to reveal their entire real name, but only one paragraph is needed.

This participation certificate has been refined into a fine-quality wonder, which can identify the corresponding contestant based on a divine name and the mental fluctuations of the person who signed the divine name.

After signing the most recognizable part of his real name, Akmon, the participation invitation letter exuded a bright light, which flashed away, indicating that Xu Yi’s information had been recorded.

Since it has become a fine-quality wonder, its function will not be so single. In addition to proving identity, it also has a simple information receiving function, as well as a ranking function set up to increase the intensity of the competition. Contestants must hold the participation certificate to enter the world of the competition.

After teaching the five people how to fill out the invitation letter, Professor Huo began to explain the competition system.

”This time, the Seven Capitals Gods College Student Comprehensive Competition is to enter a large world called the Savage World.”

”The main ethnic groups in this world are barbarians and beasts, and the power system is divided into blood lines and secret seals. You can find out about this by yourself after entering the world. We in the Holy City don’t have much information in this regard.”

”The Savage World has a great reputation, but it has always been developed by Western gods. This time, I don’t know why it was used as a comprehensive competition venue. However, the reason why it is so famous is not because of these, but because the world will of this world is the most special type of world will among all world wills, the rule-based world will.”

”The rule-based world will has no entity, and it itself represents a group of unique world rules. As for the reason for the formation of such rules, I will not go into details here. You only need to know that it is most likely formed by a rule-based world will. It can be evolved from living things.”

”The characteristic of the rule-based world will is that it has no bias. Even if it is an alien species, as long as it does not oppose its rules, it can accept you. ”

”The competition system this time is basically the same as the rules of the Savage World.”

”In the Savage World, there is a profession called chieftain. Most alien life forms that enter will be classified as wandering chieftains. You need to start from a chieftain of any force to build your own force. The invitation letter will record all your performance in the competition. ”

”Your final results will be comprehensively considered through the number of wars, kills, kill ratio, number of eliminated opponents, and the size of the final force.”

After looking around and making sure that all the contestants knew roughly what they were going to do, Professor Huo began to explain the chieftain profession in detail.

”When you first enter, you are all ordinary traffic chieftains, without creatures to command, and unable to establish a tribe. Only by killing a certain number of barbarians and condensing the first blood pattern can you enter the second stage and gather power. At this time, you need to find a wild good fortune pool...”

As for how chieftains can upgrade and develop, Professor Huo has obviously studied a lot through materials. It took nearly an hour of narration for the five people to roughly understand the direction of development.

Xu Jian or Pei Dianyu’s guess was correct. Divinity is necessary, and it is used in the key link of using the good fortune pool.

”Next, let’s talk about what you should bring. A useful enough strange object, a human-shaped avatar and a handy weapon are enough.”

”I know some of you have multiple avatars, but please remember to bring the most useful one. The rules of the Savage World follow the rule of natural selection and survival of the fittest.”

”In order to have a fair start, after you enter the Savage World, the magic spells that the avatar can use will be limited to three. The others will be blocked under the rules, and you cannot cast them even if you have divine power. So, please be sure to bring the most adaptable avatar.”

”Finally, the Savage World is in the 30:1 time domain. This competition will last for five years. The five of you are the most suitable to participate according to the competition system. I wish you can get a good ranking.”
