Earth's Greatest Magus

Chapter 2157: The Strategy

Calling out the Silvermane for help was a strategy suggested by Emery. It was devised as an alternative to aligning himself as a member of the Ouroboros faction. Emery believed that leveraging the collective authority and influence of the entire wolf bloodline community would be far more compelling than the claim of a single father figure.

The Ouroboros Queen was well aware of Emeryʼs close ties with the Silvermane faction. However, she had underestimated his ability to mobilize their upper echelons so swiftly.

Emeryʼs plan to involve the powerful Silvermane wolves added an unexpected and formidable dimension to the situation. With this strategic addition, the Queen decided to call for the conclave, ensuring the involvement of all ten clans in the matter. By invoking it, the Queen signaled her intention to rally support and forge a unified front against the Faulen factionʼs actions.

As the conclave approached, all Ouroboros allies, serpent factions residing outside the Cerulean Zone, began to gather. The Boa clan, the Kruk clan, and even the Monarch of the Mauritius clan, a rarely seen but immensely influential figures in serpent communities.

Queen Silviana invited these leaders into the Ouroboros warship to brief them on the dire situation at hand. She introduced Emery as the father of the kidnapped Ouroboros princess, Shinta, explaining the circumstances of her abduction and the Faulen factionʼs aggressive actions.

Just as the Queen finished her briefing, a ripple of anticipation ran through the room as they awaited the arrival of their final guest. The massive warship that emerged from the hyperdrive in their vicinity bore the unmistakable insignia of the Wolf Royal faction, the Silvermane. Soon enough, three grand magus figures came aboard the Ouroboros ship.

The first was Grand Magus Warwick, a three-cosmos veteran and the right hand of the Silvermane patriarch. Warwickʼs presence alone commanded immense respect.

Behind Warwick stood Yrsa, a high-ranking official known for her sharp intellect and unwavering resolve. As a two-cosmos grand magus, Yrsaʼs influence within the Silvermane hierarchy was significant. But it was the third figure that drew the most attention— a second three cosmos grand magus; Philip Corvin, a famous and highly respected leader of Corvin factions; a faction as famous as the Ouroboros itself.

Queen Silviana recognized Philip. His presence, along with Warwick, indicated that the Silvermane were taking this matter very seriously. The tension in the room was palpable as the Silvermane delegation approached.

Emery stepped forward, his demeanor calm and respectful. He greeted the Silvermane elders with a respectful gesture, bowing slightly. ”Elders, thank you for coming,” The old veteran Warwick gave a slight smile his gaze settling on Emery. ”You inherited the Alpha Kingʼs legacy, so your daughterʼs safety is very important to us,” This revelation shocked all the serpent bloodline members present, including the Serpent Queen herself. Whispers of surprise and curiosity rippled through the gathered elders. The significance of Emeryʼs lineage and the weight it carried were not lost on anyone in the room.

Warwick then turned to greet the serpent elders formally, his demeanor respectful yet commanding. ”We came by the authority of our Alpha King Tidus the Chain Breaker to assist in this matter to the best of our ability,” he announced, his voice resonating with authority.

Philip Corvin, standing beside Warwick, added his own declaration. ”I also bring a directive from the Academy. Shinta Ouroboros is a student from our Privilege Hall. I am here to help bring her back.”

As Philip spoke, there was a noticeable nod given to Emery. The gesture, though subtle, carried significant weight. Emery and Philip had once stood on opposite sides, but this nod signaled a shift—a silent acknowledgment of their shared goal and Philipʼs genuine intention to aid in resolving the situation.

The room buzzed with murmurs as the leaders processed this new information. The presence of the Silvermane delegation and their bold statements would fundamentally alter the dynamics of the conclave.

From his seat, the giant Monarch Daniel Mauritius, a towering figure with a presence as formidable as his title, let out a deep, rumbling chuckle. ”I am curious how that young Viceroy is going to deal with this,” his eyes twinkling with amusement. With their preparations complete, the entourage of serpentine and wolf allies ventured into the Cerulean zone together. The tension was palpable as they neared the Faulen planet, each member of the coalition aware of the high stakes involved.

As they closed in on the planet, Queen Silviana summoned Emery to a private meeting aboard her flagship. Her expression was grave as she shared the latest intelligence.

”My spy has just discovered that Shinta has been moved to a different facility.”

Emeryʼs anxiety spiked at the queenʼs words. ”What facility? What are they doing with her?!”

”Unfortunately, the details are unclear. But the fact that they moved her despite knowing an armada is marching for her is highly suspicious.”

Emeryʼs mind raced with possibilities, each more dire than the last. The unknown nature of the facility and the sudden relocation of Shinta suggested a hidden agenda, one potentially more sinister than they had anticipated.

Queen Silviana shared her plan. ”Our priority is to secure Shinta first. We can debate the rules and politics later. I intend to send a team to infiltrate this facility, and your space magic will be much helpful”

Emery didnʼt need a second to decide. He was far more eager to seek out Shinta than to engage in the political debates of the conclave. Without hesitation, he accepted the queenʼs plan.

The queen summoned two grand magus for the task, carefully selecting individuals whose skills were essential for infiltration.

The first was Grand Magus Vulani. Though she was only in the one cosmos realm, she was a formidable spirit master. The second, Grand Magus Rictus, presented a stark contrast to Vulani. His thin, wrinkled visage masked the overwhelming strength of a two cosmos grand magus. Rictus was born with a serpent gene bloodline that rendered him virtually undetectable. This genetic advantage, combined with his extensive experience as a veteran stealth expert, made him the perfect operative for the task.

As the queen outlined the mission parameters, her instructions were clear. Emery would assist the two grand magus elders in infiltrating the facility, but once inside, he was to return to the ship and await further orders.

However, Emeryʼs response was resolute—a total rejection of the queenʼs directive.

”I would not,” Emery declared, his gaze unwavering.

Rictus, his voice laced with ominous foreboding, interjected with a warning. ”You will only hold us back, kid... worst, you will get us caught!”

Emeryʼs decision to remain with Vulani and Rictus was accompanied by a display of his formidable abilities. With a subtle gesture, he invoked his innate shapeshifting talent, transforming his appearance to mimic that of the serpent bloodline. Scales adorned his skin, and his features morphed into those of a serpent-blooded individual. 𝐑ÃƝＯβĚ𝐬

However, Rictus, unimpressed by Emeryʼs physical alteration, began to voice his skepticism. ”Huh! physical alteration has no use against grand magus figures. We definitely would—”

His words were abruptly halted by Vulaniʼs sharp observation. ”Rictus, canʼt you sense it?”

Realization dawned on Rictus as he studied Emery more closely. ”You... you are a spirit master!”

Emeryʼs transformation went beyond mere physical changes; he had also altered his spiritual aura, masking his true power and adopting the guise of a lowly crescent moon magus with a serpent bloodline signature.

The queen, witnessing this impressive display, nodded in approval. She fixed her gaze on Emery, her expression firm. ”Bring her back,”

Emery, now fully committed to the mission, nodded in acknowledgment. Shintaʼs safety depended on his success, and he was determined to see her returned unharmed.

Finally, the ships descended and landed on the Faulen planet. The Ouroboros queen led the procession, accompanied by a retinue of a hundred figures, among whom were twelve grand magus of considerable repute. As they approached the palace checkpoints, the presence of the three wolf grand magus among the group drew immediate attention. The Faulen guards swiftly moved to intercept them.

However, one of the Ouroboros grand magus asserted his strength. ”Give way!! They are the key guests for the conclave!” he demanded, his voice filled with authority. This individual had been assigned to deliberately intimidate the guards and create a momentary distraction.

During the mounting tension, Emery, with practiced precision, conjured a portal. In a swift and coordinated maneuver, the trio slipped through the portal. Their destination: the Faulen gene facility.
