I Am The Game's Villain

Chapter 581 581: Rodaʼs Sister?

Just when I thought today was shaping up to be a damn good day, something had to happen to ruin it. Of course. Nothing ever goes smoothly when Iʼm involved.

I had been looking forward to my date with Layla, actually feeling good for once, but no—fate decided to throw this bullshit at me instead.

I tightened my grip on the womanʼs wrist, both hands struggling to keep her at bay.

She was strong.

Too strong.

Even for a werewolf, her strength was absurd. It wasnʼt just raw power—I could feel something else coursing through her, something overwhelming.

She was on a completely different level from me physically.

Who the hell was she?

Her face was barely visible in the dim lighting, shrouded in shadows, but I couldnʼt recognize her like this…

Not that it mattered. Right now, the only thing I needed to do was get rid of her.

I let out a frustrated groan, gathering my Ruah to counter the energy radiating from her—Prana. Our forces clashed, the air crackling between us as invisible pressure built up.

”Donʼt bother me before my date with Layla,” I muttered, pushing back with everything I had.

The woman didnʼt waver.

She was still hell bent on killing me.

”And donʼt…” I shifted my grip, my right hand tightening around her wrist while my free hand shot forward, aiming for her cloak. ”...hide your damn face!”

She jerked backward, reacting fast, but my fingers still managed to catch something. Instead of her cloak, I accidentally grabbed her upper garment, and before I could process what was happening, the fabric tore—just enough to expose her bare shoulder and a glimpse of her cleavage.

Shit.

That wasnʼt what I meant to do.

She landed silently, but her gaze darkened, her eyes practically burning with fury.

”Um…” I threw away her torn cloth in my grasp and stepped away from the bed and straightened up, keeping my focus on her.

”Sorry about that,” I said, bracing myself. ”But you kinda forced my hand.”

The last thing I wanted was to start a scene. Layla was waiting for me. I didnʼt have time for this.

And judging by how quietly she was trying to attack me, she didnʼt want to cause a commotion either.

Then, without a word, she grabbed the edge of her cloak and tossed it aside.

I didnʼt hesitate—I reached behind me, flipping the light switch to illuminate the room.

The moment the light flooded in, I finally saw her clearly.

My eyes widened in shock.

”You…”

I blinked, my shock growing by the second.

”...Are you Rodaʼs elder sister or something?”

She looked like him—just older, more mature. Her features had that same sharp, intimidating edge, but her white hair and piercing eyes stood out even more under the artificial light.

She didnʼt bother answering.

Instead, she moved.

Fast.

Before I could react, she was right in front of me again, her damn knife flashing toward me.

I barely had time to raise my arm before my back slammed hard against the wall.

Once again, I caught her wrist—barely stopping the blade from reaching my throat.

What was this blatant hatred toward me?

I could see it in her eyes—sharp, burning, filled with something close to pure loathing.

But… why?

I was certain this was the first time Iʼd ever met her.

I looked at her face again, searching for some kind of recognition, but it was useless. Whoever she was, she despised me.

Well, whatever her problem was, I had more pressing concerns.

”First of all—wear something!” I snapped.

She was standing there, completely unbothered by how much of her cleavage was exposed, and it was honestly starting to piss me off.

But before she could react, I felt it.

The knot of my towel, the only thing covering my lower half, came loose.

I barely had time to register what was happening before her gaze—almost unconsciously—flickered downward.

”...!”

Her entire body shivered.

She saw it.

My manhood—standing at full attention, maybe because of the adrenaline, maybe because of the sheer absurdity of the situation.

She completely froze.

Her expression twisted, caught somewhere between shock and horror, her face darkening as a deep crimson hue spread across her cheeks.

I wasnʼt about to waste this golden opportunity.

In a flash, I shifted our positions and slammed her against the wall.

-THUD!

I leaned in slightly, my grip firm on her wrist.

”Now, youʼre going to listen to me, woman.”

Before she could respond—

-Creak!

The door on my right swung open.

I turned my head to see a staff member stepping inside.

”Milord, please, youʼre disturbing the neig—” He trailed off.

His eyes took in the scene before him.

Her torn clothes.

Me—completely naked.

And my very obvious arousal right in front of her.

A long silence stretched between the three of us.

Then, after what felt like an eternity, the staff member let out a slow, tired sigh and turned his attention to the woman.

”I let you in because you told me you were one of his prostitutes,” he muttered, rubbing his temple. ”But I specifically said to keep the noise down. Please, try not to disturb the neighbors. We hear your moans from the outside”

What moans?!

Ignoring my glare, he turned around and left, shutting the door behind him without another word.

I stared after him, my mind struggling to catch up.

Slowly, I turned back to the woman, only to find her face even redder than before—her expression a mix of embarrassment and anger.

”So…” I narrowed my eyes at her. ”You really came here to have sex with me?”

She twitched.

I continued.

”I wasnʼt expecting that, but I didnʼt think youʼd be a prostitute. And why use a knife—”

”Shut up, I said!!” She snapped, her voice shaking with barely restrained emotion. ”I donʼt want to have sex with you! I want to kill you!!”

A sudden surge of power erupted from her as she released more of her Prana, her overwhelming presence pressing against me.

Yet, despite her words, her gaze kept flickering downward before she quickly averted her eyes to some random point on the wall—anywhere that wouldnʼt force her to see it again.

”You leave me no choice,” I said coldly.

Silver particles began to shimmer around my hand.

I activated Sloth, but only at the bare minimum—just enough so that it wouldnʼt fully assimilate into me. Still, combined with a touch of Wrath, it was more than enough to weaken her.

”W—W…What?” She mumbled, her voice sluggish as her eyes grew heavy.

Her Prana flickered and then vanished entirely as she collapsed. As I thought, she seemed in a weird state to begin with.

I caught her before she could hit the floor, wasting no time in binding her wrists, ankles, and mouth. Once I was sure she was properly restrained, I tossed her into the nearby closet.

-Thud!

I sighed and turned away—

-Bang!

The closet door flew open.

She was already awake?

What the hell?

I used Sloth, didnʼt I?

”Hmnfff!!!” She struggled, thrashing violently against her restraints, glaring at me with pure rage.

I frowned.

Just to be safe, I used Sloth again—this time reinforcing it with mana cuffs around her wrists.

She slumped immediately, her body going limp.

At least for now, she was out.

I scanned her face for a moment, something unreadable stirring inside me. She… felt vaguely familiar.

Her white hair. Those piercing eyes.

She gave off an air of Nevia—something about her reminded me of Celeste.

But at the same time… she resembled Roda more.

A relative, maybe? Did Roda have a sister I wasnʼt aware of?

Or was she from a branch family?

But that wouldnʼt explain the sheer hatred in her gaze.

No matter how much I tried to recall, I was certain I had never met this woman before.

Could she be another lunatic who despised me for giving away the Seed and siding with Utopia?

Maybe.

But would someone like that go this far?

Questionable.

I let out a sigh and reinforced the closet, sealing it shut with a five-layered mana circle. It wasnʼt foolproof, but it would be enough to keep her locked in for now.

With that settled, I finally turned my attention back to something far more important—picking my clothes.

Channeling mana into my ring, I summoned several outfits onto the bed.

I scratched my head before settling on a simple yet refined look—a pair of black pants and a white button-up shirt. After fastening the buttons, I slipped on the Olphean emblem pendant and the black coin pendant I had kept through everything that had happened.

Sliding into a pair of polished black shoes, I gave my room one last glance.

…It was a mess.

Shrugging, I stepped out and flagged down the nearest staff member.

”Clean up my room,” I said, tossing him a gold coin.

His eyes widened in shock before he bowed his head deeply, hurrying inside without question.

As for that woman locked in my closet…

Iʼd deal with her later.

Right now, the only thing that mattered—

Was my date with Layla!

I took the elevator down, pausing in front of a mirror to check my reflection one last time.

Perfect.
