The Golem Mage

Chapter 1115: One More War With The Family 1.

Estonia City

The mages from the few clans that had decided to stand by the Gordons Clan mages in this battle had all come out waiting for the blood moon war to finally begin.

Meanwhile, a number of Gordons guards had been moved towards the top of the City’s gate, and they were the ones who would shut it up when all of the mages participating in the blood moon war had made their way out already, the Gordons clan intended to finish the battle outside the walls, no other battle ground intended.

Most of the Gordons’ clan members were already gathered outside the city gates, waiting for the battle to begin.

The Lanzt Clan stood to one side in green robes that represented their wind element, this was literally the first time that many would see them not fighting behind another clan during a battle.

It was almost as if their grand ancestor was trying his hardest to show the Gordons clan that they truly had their back.

But it didn’t look like the Gordons Patriarch gave their actions much thought. To him, there were far too many other things to worry about.

Then there was the Darkbliss Clan, led personally by their Patriarch, unlike many of the other clans, the Darkbliss Clan had not put on any airs when the Gordons came to seek their assistance.

In fact, their Patriarch had come in person to lead the mages from his clan, while being clad in the Tier 6 Umbral Dread Regalia spirit equipment set he had acquired during the Gordons Clan auction.

Floating there in the air, he gave off an intensely dark aura, he was clearly flaunting his Tier 6 equipment set, though he was hardly the only one.

It was as if everyone who had managed to obtain an equipment set from that auction was doing their best to show off.

The younger generation could only watch the way the older men were behaving.

The mages of the Darkbliss Clan were all dressed in black robes, with their clan insignia engraved on the back and on the upper left side of their robes.

Not too far from them stood the Coral Clan and the Aegisborn Clan, positioned fairly close to one another.

The Coral Clan mages wore light-blue robes, while those from the Aegisborn Clan were dressed in either white or grey.

Leading the Coral Clan was a Tier 6 realm lady, before now, she had merely just been one of the stronger members of the clan, but after the clan acquired a Tier 6 spirit equipment set, she had risen to become one of its important pillars.

Though it had been given to the Coral clan as a gift because of their enormous losses in the Blood Moon War, none of the old men who converted it and expected it to be theirs were able to bind with it.

That was when they received a message from a Gordons Clan envoy informing them that it was a spirit equipment set that could only be used by a woman.

Immediately, they understood what Alec had been trying to do.

Though he had said he was gifting it to the Coral Clan, in truth, he was giving it to the daughter of their Tier 7 elder who had perished in battle after being consumed by the Z-virus.

It was actually quite simple. Alec knew that clans like this could easily destroy themselves through infighting after the death of a major pillar, so to make sure that power did not fall into the wrong hands, he made inquiries and discovered that the fallen Coral elder had a daughter in the Tier 6 realm.

However, she had no real influence on their council when major decisions were being made. So, in order to give her power, he created a spirit equipment set with a female structure in mind.

And since there was no other female mage of the clan was more worthy, those who had wanted the power of the spirit equipment set for themselves were forced to accept the fact that she was the only one capable of using it and bringing their clan another golden age.

Ever since that day she bonded with spirit equipment set, her strength had grown by leaps and bounds, making her the strongest mage in the entire Coral Clan.

In that way, not only had she regained her father’s position as the leading elder, but when the Gordons Clan later called for allies to help defend their city, she was once again able to stand at the front.

Some of the older elders of the Coral clan had suggested that they simply watch from the side as they were still recovering, but she rejected such an approach and used her newfound authority to push her clan into offering support, which was why she was the one leading them now.

As for the Aegisborn Clan, not much could be said about them, they were the ones the Gordons knew the least, yet they had shown the greatest loyalty.

To the Gordons Clan, the Aegisborn were a band of fanatical battle maniacs who fought for righteous values and displayed unwavering loyalty.

That was how the Gordons saw them, and leading them was their Patriarch, clad in the new Ivory Juggernaut equipment set, alongside his brother, Orion.

_ _

“They have all arrived!” a mid-rank mage who had hirroed tiwarda one of the towers atop the city gate reported after dropping to one knee and saluting towards the Gordons Patriarch.

“Hmm. Tell the Gordons high-rank mages to make their appearance now,” the Patriarch replied after hearing him out.

As the mages from the allied clans watched the lower-ranked members of the Gordons Clan standing alone, they began to wonder where exactly the true strength of the Gordons currently was.

But it didn’t take long for the answer to appear.

Different auras suddenly surged forward, pressing down on the area, and at the head of that movement was the Fourth Elder of the Gordons Clan.

Behind him came the Third, Second, Fifth, Sixth, and Seventh Elders.

When those six mages rose into the air and took their place beside the other high-rank mages of Estonia City, the expressions of many people changed instantly as they finally understood what was so terrifying about the Gordons Clan elders before them.

It was the fact that, every single one of them was already in the Tier 7 mage realm.

Immediately, people began to wonder when exactly the Gordons had amassed so many Tier 7 mages, and then their thoughts shifted to an even more unsettling realization, the fact that the Patriarch and the cunning Grand Elder were not even among them yet.

The way they had appeared so grandly had an immediate intimidating effect on those watching.

Then from the gates the mid-rank mage army of the Gordons Clan finally marched out, as the city gates were locked behind them.

And as it happened, the one leading them was Zack—the Eighth and newest Elder of the Gordons Clan.

When many saw him at the front, they finally felt relieved

that the mid-rank mage army of the Gordons Clan would be participating as well.
