The Golem Mage

Chapter 324: Let There Be Chaos... 2

A fire tunnel appeared within the confines of a secluded cave, revealing the imposing figure of the Blaze Clan’s enforcer.

Standing before him was the sixth elder of the Fridall clan, wearing a grin that only served to irritate the enforcer.

Without hesitation, the enforcer extended his hand, attempting to grab hold of the Fridall elder’s throat.

However, the Fridall elder swiftly deflected the enforcer’s hand with a well-placed hit from his palm, and quickly closing in and clasping his hand around the enforcer’s neck.

”I remember a time when I was merely a Tier 6 Mage and you held the rank of Tier 7 Mage,” the Fridall elder remarked, a smile playing on his lips.

”Back then, I showed you respect, Perhaps that’s why you believe you can still treat me the same way.”

The Fridall elder continued, his smile never faltering,

”If you dare cross me, I will break you, Take a look at yourself, still stuck in the rank of Tier 7 while I have rapidly caught up, and Soon enough, I will surpass you, leaving you in the dust.”

Flinging the enforcer to the far corner of the room, the Fridall elder smugly demanded,

”Now that you’ve settled down, explain to me why you’ve contacted me once again with a proposition.”

The elder’s incredulous expression seemed more like an act, causing the enforcer to snort in amusement.

It was evident that the Fridall elder had expected the Ancient Blaze clan to reach out to him, despite his previous actions a fact that greatly annoyed the enforcer.

The elder’s fake sweet smile only heightened the enforcer’s irritation.

”Aren’t you afraid?, Afraid that I might kill you?, Afraid that I could bring an entire squad with me?” the enforcer challenged.

The Fridall elder’s confident response was delivered with unyielding certainty,

”I know you won’t attempt something foolish with the intelligence services you possess. The cost for me, however, would merely be a scarce and valuable resource used in creating this body.”

” But for you, it would result in me joining the Outer Branches of the Blade Clan through marriage and seeking ways to undermine your clan’s standing. Even they would be astounded by my proposal.”

The Fridall elder responded, causing the enforcer to grit his teeth in annoyance.

It was clear that the Fridall clan elder had only attained his present Mage realm due to the help of the Ancient Blaze Clan.

However, he was not the type of loyal clans who would blindly obey commands from the Blaze Clan.

The Fridall elder was known for his wild and cunning nature, and even the enforcer recognized the truth in his words about the Blades loving the idea of another Tier 7 Mage joining there ranks.

No clan would want to miss out on the opportunity to recruit a Tier 7 mage who harboured a grudge against their rivals.

Even the Blaze Clan would readily accept him if the circumstances were reversed.

”What is it that you want?”

The enforcer finally asked, verifying that the person standing before him was indeed a clone.

Although they were aware that he had the ability to create clones of himself after awakening another power in the High Tier Realm, they just didn’t have any knowledge that he could create clones of the same realm.

It was evidently a factor that had taken him by surprise.

”The coordinates. I know your Clan has strong connections with the royal clan. It should be easy for you to find out where my father is being held. I know for a fact that he has not yet reached the capital, which means that bastard Dragonmir still has him captive,” the Fridall sixth elder asserted.

”Help me locate him, and I will assist you in tarnishing the reputation of the ancient Dragonmir clan even further. What do you say?”

The enforcer simply snorted in response, unimpressed by the elder’s confidence.

”You think quite highly of yourself, don’t you? Promise to aid us with the Alec situation, and I will personally reveal his location to you,” the enforcer offered.

The eyes of the Fridall clan elder lit up with excitement and he moved towards the enforcer.

However, before he could reach him, another figure emerged from the still-open fire tunnel and positioned themselves between the enforcer and the Fridall clan elder.

Sensing a fluctuation in mana, the Fridall sixth elder attempted to halt his movements but found himself inexorably drawn towards the old man.

”Grand Elder!”

Even the enforcer sounded surprised, He had not anticipated that the Grand elder would also follow him.

”As expected, you are not willing to cooperate, even if you have a grudge against Alec, Then you shall be killed.”

The Grand Elder extended his hand, forming it into a claw shape as flames burst to life on his fingertips, creating a set of fiery eagle claws.

”You hypocritical old man!, I had a feeling you would show up,”

The Fridall clan elder retorted, tossing a seemingly harmless wooden sword.

However, upon seeing it, the Grand Elder’s eyes widened as he immediately stopped his attack, drawing the Enforcer closer.

As He swiftly swung his robe, enveloping both himself and the enforcer in the < Inferno Veil spell>.

As the small wooden sword made contact with the blazing veil, it transformed into an array of large swords, which flew towards the veil from all directions, attempting to break through.

However, without anyone controlling the swords, their power quickly diminished after a minute , causing them to revert back into the wooden sword.

The wooden sword flew back towards the Fridall clan sixth elder, who caught it and broke a rune stone he prepared in his other hand, opening up a spatial portal.

He swiftly passed through.

”Goodbye!” the voice of the Fridall clan sixth elder echoed, reaching the ears of the Blaze Clan’s Grand Elder of the Outer Branch, who had taken matters into his own hands but failed.

Removing the Inferno Veil, the Grand Elder’s face showed his frustration.

Despite his immense efforts to stop the attack, this wooden sword was a weapon only Tier 9 members of the Blade Clan could conjure, using their comprehension of the sword.

It was typically bestowed upon the most promising member of the next generation, serving as a life-saving talisman in times of trouble.

The Grand Elder couldn’t fathom why such a valuable talisman, exclusive to the Blade Clan members, was in the possession of the Fridall elder.

The revelation that the Fridall elder possessed the exclusive life-saving talisman of the Blade Clan indicated that he had the support of a highly influential member within the clan.

This unexpected realization left the Blaze Clan Grand elder stunned, as they had only heard rumours of the Fridall elder associating with the Blade Clan.

They had not anticipated the depth of his connection.

Meanwhile, in a different location, an elder from the Blaze Clan’s outer branch stood outside the gates of the Gordons Clan, waiting with an air of arrogance.

”Have your patriarch come here to receive me personally. If he refuses to come within a minute, I won’t hesitate to destroy anything in my path,” the elder declared, his voice dripping with superiority.

Unfazed, the fourth elder from the Gordons Clan responded coolly, floating before the Blaze Clan outer branch elder. His spear remained securely fastened to his back.

”The patriarch will not waste his time receiving a pitiful elder from the Blaze outer branch. If you have something to discuss, say it to Me, Otherwise, you can start your threats now and witness the response of the Gordons Clan,” he retorted.

Though his face showed no emotion, his posture seemed to taunt the Blaze Clan outer branch elder, who teetered on the edge of losing his composure.

He felt disrespected by a clan he considered beneath his own.
