Lewd System: Every Scream and Moan is EXP

Chapter 244: Chapter 244 : I wont Let you Die... Not Like this

And then the worst that could have possibly happened to Cleenah, happened.

The projection showed the moment she received the news. Her village. The people she had grown up with.

All of it had vanished overnight. Every soul gone. The entire settlement left empty and doomed as if the earth itself had swallowed its inhabitants and spat out nothing but silence.

No explanation. No survivors found. Just a dead village and a mystery that the Holy Order deemed too insignificant to investigate further.

But Cleenah didn’t need an investigation.

She had already chosen her truth. The hands behind this were the same ones she had warned her parents about for years.

That bloody family.

The demon who had wormed his way into her home. The wife who had smiled while plotting. The child who was used nothing but as a bait.

She had been right all along. And nobody had listened.

From that moment on, she took an oath. To eliminate every single one of them. And then to purge every demon walking this world until not a single drop of their blood remained.

Her fire of revenge was so absolute, so consuming, that she stopped seeing what she was becoming. In her mind, everything she did was for peace. To prevent any such calamity from ever happening again.

The spectators in the dungeon watched the transformation unfold through the projection. The girl they had seen crying at a farewell became something else entirely.

More focused. More ruthless. More evil with each passing day.

She started hunting demons. Tracking them across kingdoms. And not just demons. Demihumans weren’t spared either. Anything carrying a trace of demon blood was a target.

After interrogations that lasted hours, she would kill them. Even after their pleas. Even after they begged on their knees for mercy.

And the ones who portrayed themselves as saints, the ones who swore they meant no harm, were the ones she destroyed with the most satisfaction.

This cycle continued for months. A spiral of blood and conviction that she mistook for justice.

And along its way, she discovered a truth that reignited her rage to levels even she hadn’t reached before.

There were survivors from the incident that consumed her family.

A mother and daughter. The only ones who had escaped. And they were spreading accounts that demons had infiltrated the village and taken people as offerings.

Her research shifted entirely toward them. And when the pieces came together, her blood ran cold.

The mother’s child was a half-blood. And the worst part, the absolute worst, was the blood she carried. Demon blood.

She studied the woman and the small child she carried. Roughly a year and a half old.

A mother. A demon husband. It was making sense. She opened her treasury of letters. The words her family had written to her, kept and preserved through the years. And then she found it.

The similarity between the woman in her research and the woman from the letters.

They were the same person. Same purple hair. Same green eyes. Same beautiful face that her parents had described with such admiration.

Her blood boiled beyond reason.

And it was in that state, that blinded, frothing rage, that she committed the greatest crime of her life.

She didn’t confirm the situation. Didn’t verify the truth. Didn’t even look closely at the child the woman carried. She was so consumed by her conviction that she assumed the smaller child was the woman’s own.

Another half-blood. Another demon seed that needed to be exterminated.

Before they could hide more of their crimes. Before they could scheme something terrible within Astryx Academy’s walls. She needed to end them.

So she watched.

The woman was residing in Headmistress Lysandra’s home. Mostly followed by a few guards. She only came out during the evenings to fetch vegetables from the market, the small child always in her arms.

Cleenah grew angrier seeing the protection. In her mind, the woman had spun sweet stories for Lysandra. Tricked the headmistress into sheltering her. Another layer of demonic scheming.

Every smile the woman gave to the vendors, to the guards, to the child in her arms, hurt Cleenah’s very soul. Each expression of warmth was another lie. Another mask hiding the monster beneath.

And then one evening, she ended it all.

Her rage had reached its peak. In the narrow alleys behind the market, she lured the woman away from the main path.

First, she killed the servant accompanying her. Then the guard. Two bodies hitting the stone before the woman even understood what was happening.

Then she killed her.

Every spectator in the dungeon watched Cleenah’s blade open the throat of Lilith’s mother. A woman whose only crime was surviving.

Whose only sin was being married to a man the world couldn’t forgive for being born.

And then the child.

The small boy didn’t understand what had happened. He was on the ground. Looking at his mother who had a cut across her neck and was bleeding into the cobblestones.

He stared at her face. Waiting. Waiting for her to pick him up. Waiting for the arms that always came.

Several minutes passed in the projection. The boy’s confusion slowly twisted into something else as the realization crept into his tiny mind that his mother wasn’t responding.

Wasn’t moving. Wasn’t reaching for him.

He started crying.

And what came instead of comfort, instead of pity, instead of even a moment of hesitation, was the blade falling again.

A fourth corpse added to the alley.

The corpse of her own brother.

Every eye in the dungeon shifted to Cleenah.

She was already puking. Her body convulsing on the floor as everything inside her tried to physically reject what she had just been forced to witness from her own memories.

Seris’s eyes burned with a rage she had never felt before. Ava and Celestine, who had watched this entire ordeal with detached amusement, now carried expressions that could shatter stone.

Their playfulness was gone. Replaced by something cold and absolute.

Lilith sat in her own world of trauma. The truth she never knew had been laid bare before her.

Her mother and brother hadn’t died because of some grand conspiracy. There was no demonic plot. No scheme. No justified extermination.

They died because of a misunderstanding.

A woman too blinded by grief to open her eyes.

Meanwhile Jax stood still. His gaze fixed on the projection. On the face of young Cleenah after the killings. The expression she wore while looking down at the four bodies.

Satisfaction.

Jax didn’t show emotion on his face. But his mana told a different story. Wrath wrapped itself around the energy surrounding his body like chains made of black fire.

Coiling. Tightening. Waiting for the moment it would be unleashed.

The projection continued.

Some year later. Cleenah wasn’t satisfied and was on her own mission of eradicating a certain race all this time.

Until a subjugation mission brought a captured spy demon before her. During the interrogation, the demon mentioned something that made her blood freeze.

Infernal Overlord power had been sensed at Astryx Academy.

The kind of power that only chosen royal blood could possess. And the name they were certain of was Azrakh. The demon who had abandoned the royal family and fled to the human realm.

His bloodline was alive. Still breathing. Still existing within the very walls of the academy.

Cleenah’s scheming reactivated like a machine that had never truly been turned off.

She tried to infiltrate the academy. Tried to reach the girl. But Lysandra was in her way. The headmistress had hidden Lilith so thoroughly that no outsider could touch her.

So Cleenah waited. Analyzed. Studied. Plotted. She wanted not only Lilith exterminated but Lysandra too for protecting these monsters.

And she succeeded. Well, that’s what she believed. Until a certain professor stepped in and shattered everything she had built.

The memories ended.

The projection died.

Jax turned toward Cleenah.

She was on the ground. Coughing. Dragging her body across the stone floor with limbs that had refused to respond since the horror began playing.

Her hand was reaching for her sword. Trembling. Barely functional.

Jax kicked the blade away before her fingers could close around it.

She looked up at his face. The expression had shifted. Gone was the calm. Gone was the calculated emptiness. What remained was the same fury she had seen when he butchered the dark mage woman.

But she wasn’t thinking about that.

She raised her hands in front of her face. Stared at them. At the fingers that had held the blade. At the palms that were stained with blood she could never wash away.

”What have I done...”

Her voice had completely broken. Words couldn’t form. Syllables collapsed before they left her mouth.

”What... have I...”

”I - I...Killed...my own.. broth..”

Her eyes found Lilith. The girl was still recovering from the truth she had just witnessed. Still processing the reality that her mother and brother were killed by the very person who stood as a champion of justice.

Cleenah’s expression said everything her voice couldn’t.

Sorry.

Then her hand was coated in holy magic. Sharpened into a blade of golden light aimed at her own throat.

The edge touched her skin.

Jax grabbed her wrist. Stopped the blade an inch from drawing blood. Then his other hand found her throat.

He squeezed.

Harder. And harder.

Cleenah’s hands instinctively rose to fight. But then she realized she wanted this. Welcomed it. So she lowered them. Let them fall to her sides.

Tears streamed from the pain and the choking as her airway collapsed under his grip.

Then Jax let go.

She gasped. Coughed. Drew air in desperate, ragged gulps.

”I won’t let you die so easily. Not after what you’ve done.”

His voice was quiet. Final.

”You will die every single day. Until my mind decides to show you pity.”

Then he leaned closer. His lips near her ear. A grin spreading across his bloodied face.

”Also, make yourself useful for once. Surrender your body to me for the painful torture, Celestial.”

The word hit her like a thunderbolt.

She gulped. Her mind raced through the implications of what he had just whispered. How did he know that?

Then the realization settled like ice in her veins.

He had her memories. Every single one.
