Esper Harem in the Apocalypse

Chapter 1100: Declaring the Lordship

As soon as Rudy turned and ascended the final steps to the throne, the Lordʼs Chamber trembled with the force of Rudyʼs presence. The ancient stones groaned as if in acknowledgment of his ascension. The throne pulsed with a brilliant light, casting an ethereal glow that bathed the entire chamber in a soft, otherworldly radiance. The statues flanking the throne seemed to come to life, their eyes glowing brighter than ever, as if recognizing the return of their true master.

The air hummed with power, a symphony of energies that resonated through the very fabric of reality. The faded murals on the walls seemed to regain their vibrancy, the scenes of ancient battles and forgotten heroes springing to life with renewed vigor. The debris that littered the floor—broken statues,, and the remnants of once-magnificent tapestries—began to mend and restore themselves, as if the passage of time was reversing before their very eyes.

As Rudy sat on the throne with his eyes closed, a serene smile played on his lips. He felt a profound connection to the very essence of the universe, a oneness that transcended time and space. When he opened his eyes, he saw the chamber transforming around him, the ruins giving way to a majestic splendor that defied the ravages of time.

The high, vaulted ceiling was no longer collapsed, but instead soared above them, supported by massive pillars that gleamed with an otherworldly light. The walls were adorned with vibrant murals, depicting scenes of ancient battles and long-forgotten heroes, their colors as vivid as the day they were first painted. The floor was no longer littered with debris, but instead gleamed with a polished sheen, reflecting the light from the throne.

Rudy looked up at the ceiling and frowned. He raised his finger as an energy ball began to manifest on the tip of his finger. It didnʼt grow in size, but its colors changed. Then, it shot up in the ceiling, breaking it open.

Before the debris could fall on the ground, Rudy snapped his finger and it disappeared.

He then looked at the moon and smiled.

”This is better.” He muttered.

Rudy turned to Nyxia, who stood beside the throne, her eyes wide with wonder and awe. ”Nyxia,” he said, his voice filled with warmth and affection, ”come, sit with me. Together, we shall rule over all that exists and all that ever will.”

Nyxia hesitated for a moment, her gaze flickering between Rudy and the transformed chamber. But as she looked into Rudyʼs eyes, she saw the sincerity and love that shone within them. With a nod, she ascended the steps and took her place beside Rudy on the throne.

As they sat together, the chamber seemed to resonate with their combined power, the air thrumming with an energy that was both exhilarating and awe-inspiring. The drum-roaring sound of Rudyʼs declaration echoed not only within the chamber but throughout all the worlds, realms, and dimensions that existed within the vast expanse of the universe.

”I, Rudy, Lord of Lords, Overlord of all that exists and all that ever will, declare my sovereignty over the cosmos,” Rudy proclaimed, his voice booming like thunder, resonating through the very fabric of reality. ”Let all bear witness to my ascension. The Lord has returned, and with me comes a new dawn, a new era of peace, prosperity, and unity.”

His words seemed to ripple through the air, carrying with them a power that was both immense and undeniable. Every being within the universe felt the force of his declaration, their hearts stirring with a mix of awe, reverence, and, in some cases, fear.

As they sat on the throne, Nyxia noticed Rudy was lost in his thoughts. She wanted to ask him what he was thinking about with such a serious look on his face, but she didnʼt want to disrupt his thoughts. She knew that Rudy had a lot on his mind, and she respected his need for contemplation.

A while later, Rudy turned to Nyxia, his expression thoughtful. ”Nyxia, do you remember everything that happened in the past timeline?”

Nyxia shook her head slightly. ”I can only recall the memories youʼve given me, Rudy. And you can only show me the memories for the time we spent together. The rest is still a mystery to me.”

Rudy nodded, understanding the limitations of her restored memories. ”Is there a way for you and my other harem members to remember everything from the past timeline, and not just my memories with them?”

Nyxia considered the question carefully before responding. ”It would require you to have omnipotence, Rudy.”

If Rudy used 100% of his powers as the Overlord, he could potentially restore their memories. However, there was a significant risk involved. If he used his full power, he would turn into the shadow, and the events of the past timelines would repeat themselves.

Nyxiaʼs expression turned serious. ”Moreover, forcing your memories onto your harem members could mess with their minds, causing overlaps and conflicts in their memories. They might lose their senses and even go insane.”

Rudy pondered her words, weighing the potential consequences. ”I see. So, itʼs not a viable option. What about my non-human harem members? Could I restore their memories without the same risks?”

Nyxia hesitated for a moment before answering. ”I canʼt say for certain, Rudy. Itʼs a complex process, and the outcomes could vary greatly. I wouldnʼt want to take responsibility by answering that question. You would have to try it at your own risk.”

Rudy nodded, understanding her caution. ”Alright, Iʼll consider other options for now. There must be another way to restore their memories without putting them at risk.”

Nyxia smiled softly, appreciating his thoughtfulness. ”Thatʼs wise, Rudy. We should explore all possible avenues before taking such a significant step. The safety of your harem members should always be your top priority.”

Rudy glanced at Nyxia and raised his brow.

”What?” Nyxia asked with a confused look on her face. ”Did I say something wrong?”

”Nah. Itʼs just it feels weird to see you talking like that. I mean, you are treating me with respect and all.”

”Well, you are the Overlord,” Nyxia responded with a shrug.

Rudy placed his hand on Nyxiaʼs chest and squeezed her boob before saying, ”Just be your usual self. I prefer you that way.”

Nyxiaʼs demeanor suddenly changed. She pushed Rudyʼs hand away and with a smug look on her face, she said in a haughty tone. ”Donʼt touch me without my permission, boy.”

Rudy chuckled. ”Yeah, thatʼs more like it.”
