The system takes me to fly

Chapter 56

”Old man, let me help you.”

Xu Yi’s sleep was a little deep. He opened his eyes only when the sky broke out, and the old man had already gotten up.

Brushing his teeth and washing his face with the water in the pottery jar in the courtyard, Xu Yi was not sure if the water was still usable, but seeing that the old man also used the water, he felt that the water in the pottery pot should be usable.

Because there was no electricity, the old man used a firewood stove. After Xu Yi washed his face, he saw the old man chopping firewood with an ax in a trembling posture. Xu Yi was afraid that the old man would bend his waist, so he hurried up to help.

”Snapped!”

The strong and strong Xu Yi swung the ax and split the firewood with one stroke, almost breaking the wooden stake underneath. The dizzy pupils of the old man shrank slightly.

Xu Yi was chopping firewood in the courtyard, while the old man lit a fire in the kitchen and cooked a pot of mushy porridge. There were many unknown wild vegetables in the porridge, too little rice and too many vegetables, so it is better to call it wild vegetable soup than porridge. .

Holding the promise of firewood, when he came in, he saw the wild vegetables cooked in the iron pot, and the corners of his eyes twitched. Then he saw that there was only a pot of coarse salt and brown sugar on the stove, and there was no soy sauce. Take out food from a bag.

”Grandpa, let me borrow your pot to heat some dishes.”

Wang tofu, steamed chicken, and shrimp rolls packed in vacuum compression, Xu Yi will not treat himself badly when he is away from home. Even the Quicksand Little Red Brick compressed a few packs and brought them out, not to mention the stewed pig’s trotters, chicken feet, and peanuts snacks like that.

The wild vegetable porridge made by the old man was placed in an enamel basin and placed in a small pot on one side to warm. Xu Yi vigorously poured water into the old black pot, scooped in a small pot of water and boiled it, and put the vacuum packaging bag Put the vegetables in the pottery bowl on the steamer and use the steam to heat the vegetables.

At the dinner table, the porridge made by the old man turned out to be pretty good, probably because of the fragrance of the wild vegetables, with a crisp taste. Xu Yi ate several bowls, and while eating, he greeted the old man to eat some soft tofu and tender meat. Steam chicken.

”You sit down, I’ll do it.”

After the meal, Xu Yi took the dishes to wash the dishes. He put a cup of tea in the old man’s hand. Seeing Xu Yi scrubbing, the old man picked up the cup and sipped the tea. His originally dull eyes suddenly flashed A bright light.

Xu Yi buried his head in washing the dishes. Behind him, the decaying aura of the old man appeared and disappeared. Then, as if a translucent covering had been unveiled, the old man swept away his dying appearance, his back straight, his eyes There was also light.

”grandfather……!”

Xu Yi shook the water in his hand and turned around, and was shocked by the changed old man.

”You, are you?”

Blinking, Xu Yi deeply suspected that he was dazzled. Is the old man in front of him the same person as the old man yesterday?
Although the old man became energetic, he still looked taciturn. He drank tea and glanced at Xu Yi from afar, his eyes bright and bright.

”Where did you come from?”

The same question as last night seemed to have some kind of deep meaning in it.

”From nowhere.”

After thinking carefully, Xu Yi replied.

”It’s better to go home.”

Putting down the tea cup, the old man stood up and quickly jumped to the yellow tree next to him.

”Eh?!”

Xu Yi only felt that in the blink of an eye, the old man was on the tree. Before he could react, the old man picked up something from a branch and threw it straight towards Xu Yi.

Reaching out to catch the thrown thing, Xu Yi immediately understood that this was the No. 20 material he was looking for. When he looked at Huang Shu again, he found that it was just a dazed look, and the old man was no longer there.

”It’s better to go home.”

In the distance, the hoarse voice of the old man came.

”...”

Xu Yi with a mask on his face looked at the direction of the sound and couldn’t help covering his face with one hand.

”1388, is what happened just now true?”

Such an old man climbs a tree when he wants to, and he doesn’t look senile at all. When you think about how he couldn’t climb a tree even after jumping several times in the park, it’s really a sharp contrast.

【It’s real~Host~】

1388 was also startled, his voice was still a little trembling.

”Promising.” Xu Yi stabbed the mentally retarded system. Since the old man kept asking him to go back, Xu Yi had no choice but to go back to the main room to pack his backpack and leave.

As soon as he stepped into the main room, Xu Yi saw the books placed on the desk. When he walked in, he saw that it was a medical book.

”Sun’s Medical Classics”

The title of the book reminded Xu Yi of ”Bai’s Medical Classic”. He took out the book and opened it. On the first page, there was obviously a diagram of the leg muscles.

Everything was strange. Xu Yi stared at the picture intently, and then looked through the history of the medical scriptures. Like the ancestors of the Bai family, he accidentally studied the residual scriptures and recorded his findings after many years.

Xu Yi suddenly thought that maybe the one who moved the two materials No. 20 yesterday was not a small animal, but the old man. His footsteps were faster than Xu Yi’s, and his movement was light. Naturally, he was not like Xu Yi when climbing over the mountain. It’s like climbing up the mountain step by step.

The old man said that he was lured here on purpose, so why did he let him go?

With full of doubts, Xu Yi packed up his backpack and went down the mountain from another way.

It was too dark last night and Xu Yi didn’t see it. Xu Yi only saw it during the day. This mountain is not too far away and there are people living there. There is a car anywhere, and he doesn’t want to climb the mountain anymore.

A few hours later, Xu Yi arrived at a small village. The villagers were very accustomed to Xu Yi, who looked like a backpacker. Their village was close to the Eighteen Mountains, and travelers often came to explore, although they didn’t think there was much to explore. Yes, but people in the city seem to like this kind of sport, and because people come to play, their village can also sell some food and make some money.

”This trip is really tiring.”

Returning to G City in a daze, Xu Yi still couldn’t figure out what the old man wanted to do.

”1388, are all the materials the system is looking for unowned?” Xu Yi asked, rubbing his forehead as he threw the two materials No. 20 into the wooden box beside the bed.

[Drip - I don’t know. 】

Sensing that the host is in a bad mood now, 1388 shrunk his courage again, and replied very cautiously.

”Huh? In other words, you don’t know the current situation?”

Frowning, Xu Yi was not very satisfied with such an answer.

[The system is only responsible for scanning the materials required for the shell and providing the host map to guide exploration. 】

After throwing out the system’s explanation, 1388 trembled with the little fish holding it, begging the host not to be too angry.

”Haha.” Xu Yi smiled coldly.

This broken system is playing a rogue. It seems that the 21 kinds of materials found before did not meet the owner, and he was lucky.Xu Yi had an intuition that the process of collecting the next eleven kinds of materials would not be smooth, and he might encounter strange people like the old man.

No longer ignoring the rogue system, Xu Yi went to seek comfort from his dear little girlfriend, to appease his cheated little heart.

As the Mid-Autumn Festival approaches, Xu Kee’s main store will soon launch a Mid-Autumn Festival set meal.

As the boss and chef, Xu Yi needs to taste the new dishes developed by the chefs one by one, such as mooncakes filled with tofu, mooncakes filled with chicken and mooncakes filled with shrimps.

Xu Yi faced the plate after plate of ”whimsical” mooncakes with an expression that was hard to describe. Every time he tried to take a bite, his face would distort for a moment. There were thirty plates of mooncakes in total, even if Xu Yi was just trying them. Even if you eat a small piece, you will feel like you are out of body.

”I think Xu Ji can recommend some... general mooncakes.”

The revived Xu Yi looked at the expectant eyes of the chefs, and carefully evaluated his words so as not to hurt the ”fragile” hearts of these chefs.Xu Yi felt that what he said was very euphemistic, but the chefs still had their shoulders slumped, showing frustrated expressions.

”Boss, the chicken flavor is delicious, don’t you like it?” Chef Fan was pushed out by other chefs to be the representative of the speech, his eyes rolled, and he gave a sense of presence to the chicken stuffed mooncake he researched .

”Ordinary mooncakes are good, such as lotus paste, egg yolk, fruit flavor or five kernels?”

After taking a sip of iced Coke to calm down her shock, Xu Yi remembered the strange mooncakes she had just brought and the corner of her mouth couldn’t help but twitch.

”Five benevolence?!”

The chefs looked at Xu Yi in shock, thinking that as expected of a big boss, he actually liked five-nut mooncakes!
”What’s wrong?” With that look, Xu Yi was confused.

Many chefs shook their heads and said nothing.

In the end, the novel mooncakes developed by the chefs were all rejected by Xu Yi, and they could only regretfully make the types of mooncakes that are commonly sold in the world, and all of them were listless.

Because he knew that the mooncakes made by the chefs were comparable to dark cuisine, Zhang Meng, who escaped in advance, expressed his deep sympathy for Xu Yi’s experience.

”Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.”

Deafening laughter echoed in the living room.

”To shut up!”

Infuriated by Zhang Meng, Xu Yi threw the pomegranate in his hand at him in embarrassment.

”Hey Hey.”

Catching the pomegranate, Zhang Meng changed the way he laughed. Xu Yi, who was laughing straight up, had veins on his forehead and stared at him: ”Zhang Meng!”

”Ahem.” After coughing twice, Zhang Meng saw that Xu Yi was really going to get angry, so he suppressed his laughter and even pinched his thigh to stop laughing, but he still teased Xu Yi.

”Lao Xu, that was also the hard work of Chef Fan and the others. Why did you reject it all?”

”Go away, if you have the ability, go and taste the stinky tofu flavored mooncakes.”

God knows, when Xu Yi bit into a mooncake stuffed with stinky tofu, what kind of perseverance did Xu Yi use to stabilize himself so that he didn’t make a detrimental expression.

”Hahahahahahaha!” Hearing this, Zhang Meng couldn’t hold back his laughter anymore. He pinched his thigh to no avail, and fell on the sofa laughing like a fool weighing more than [-] pounds.

”Hey, stinky tofu? Hahahahahaha!”

Look, the accent of my hometown is all over the place.

”Zhang Meng, I warn you, if you are so unkind, don’t blame me for being unrighteous!”

What about Brother Renai? Are they all taken away by dogs?

Xu Yi snorted coldly, and stuffed a special mooncake brought back into Zhang Meng’s mouth as quickly as lightning, and forced to feed it while covering it.

”Huh??” Zhang Meng never expected that Xu Yi had been prepared and was forced to eat the eggplant mooncake he hated most, with a look of doubt on his face.

”Tsk, tsk, man, if you don’t do it, you won’t die.”

Clapping the mooncake crumbs on her hands, Xu Yi blew on her fingers, feeling much better.
