Lord of the Truth

Chapter 2164 Big guys entry-2

”Hey, we have no intention of starting a fight here,” one of the Big Six raised both hands in a calm, almost disarming gesture, his posture relaxed as if he truly had no desire to escalate the situation. ”What happened between you and Helen is over. The matter has already reached its conclusion. Weʼre just here to take her body so she can have a proper burial, thatʼs all. Nothing more, nothing less.”

”Is that bastard seriously pretending they didnʼt just kill two of our brothers?!” one of Darvionʼs sons snapped, his voice rising with fury as he pointed directly at the speaker, his gaze then shifting sharply toward his third brother as if demanding validation for his anger.

”.....” The third son of Darvion remained silent for a brief moment, his expression tightening as he carefully observed the six figures before him. There was something off, something that didnʼt align with logic. ”What exactly are you doing here?” he finally asked, his tone low but filled with suspicion.

”Didnʼt we already say?” one of the six replied, his voice now laced with irritation as he lifted it slightly. ”We want Helen. Do we have to repeat ourselves again?”

”Not that,” the third son said, his gaze sweeping across all six of them slowly, analyzing every movement, every breath. ”Weʼve been chasing Helen for days without pause. We crossed distances equal to entire starfields during the pursuit,” he continued, before his eyes locked onto the one who had spoken last. ”So how is it possible that you appeared this easily, as if you simply stepped into existence? Thereʼs no way you were watching the fight the whole time. One of us would have sensed you without fail.”

”This..?” The rest of Darvionʼs sons frowned one after another as the realization began to sink in, their earlier rage now mixing with confusion and unease.

”...We were lucky.” One of the six lifted his chin slightly, answering in a calm, almost indifferent tone, as if the explanation required no further elaboration.

”Youʼre surrounded, yet instead of thinking about survival, youʼre worrying about how we were watching you or how we got here?” one of the Big Six said with a faint shake of his head, amusement flickering across his face. ”No wonder Helen managed to take your right arm, hehe.”

”You..!!” the seventh son roared, his aura flaring violently as he stepped forward, ready to explode—

But the third son raised his hand sharply, stopping him mid-motion. His dark eyes fixed on the speaker, and when he spoke, his voice came out thin and eerily soft, almost like a womanʼs whisper. ”We wonʼt step back. I want to see exactly what youʼre capable of.”

”Hehe, weʼll do plenty!” one of the six responded eagerly as he pulled a planetary-grade weapon from his ring, the weapon humming faintly as it adjusted to his grip.

Kssh Krrr

The other five followed immediately, each drawing out different weapons, their presence shifting as the battlefield tension thickened.

”Fools who donʼt even understand their own good!” the five brothers responded in unison, summoning their weapons and activating their arrays, their foreheads beginning to glow with strange, intricate sigils that pulsed with power as they prepared for a large-scale confrontation.

No matter how experienced they were, no matter how overwhelming their strength, and even if they possessed superior defensive capabilities, facing six Law Dominators at once would never be an easy battle under any circumstances!

The aura of all eleven individuals surged outward at the same time, colliding and compressing the surrounding space until it felt unbearably heavy, suffocating to the point that even the void itself seemed strained. Each side was already calculating, strategies forming and shifting in real time, some communicating silently through mental channels, others watching every subtle movement, searching for the slightest opening.

The entire situation resembled a fragile bubble drifting between branches, trembling under invisible pressure, fated to burst at any moment without warning.

Then suddenly—

Woosh

A faint, nearly imperceptible ripple passed through space around the battlefield, subtle yet unnatural enough to draw attention.

”…Hmm?” several of Darvionʼs sons reacted instantly.

Woosh Woosh

”Whatʼs happening?” one of them muttered as he turned his head sharply, scanning the surroundings. ”Something doesnʼt feel right… somethingʼs off.”

”Hehe, donʼt extend your soul sense too far,” one of the Big Six said as he casually began stepping forward, weapon in hand. ”A danger nearby might just bite you if youʼre careless.”

”.....” The third son, however, did not hesitate. He extended his soul sense outward in a controlled but far-reaching sweep.

Then his eyes widened instantly, shock flashing across his face. ”Phantom Shadow Crafts?!”

”What?!” the rest of the brothers raised their voices slightly, not out of fear, but out of anger… and humiliation.

Phantom Shadow Crafts were widely known as the signature vessels of the Shadow Swords, infamous across the universe for their extreme speed and near-perfect concealment. However, they were never designed for direct combat. In large-scale battles, their role was limited to misdirection, interference, and drawing attention away from real threats.

And yet… the Big Six actually brought several Phantom Shadow Crafts into a confrontation of this scale?

Woosh Woosh

The crafts continued to emit faint, ghost-like sounds as they moved closer, still completely invisible to the naked eye, positioning themselves carefully. They were ready to activate their cannons at the perfect moment, either to create chaos and distraction… or to strike directly if completely ignored.

”This is an incredibly dirty tactic,” the third son said coldly as his gaze continued scanning the invisible perimeter. ”Even for you.”

”Unfortunately, we donʼt have access to miserable world arrays or rows of planetary weapons to conveniently pick from depending on the situation,” one of the six replied with a light smile. ”We simply make do with what we have available.”

”You shall have nothing then,” one of Darvionʼs sons said as he began expanding his array outward, clearly intending to wipe out every Phantom Shadow Craft within range in a single sweeping attack.

”No, no, my dear,” one of the six interrupted as he stepped closer, his tone turning slightly mocking. ”Should I explain what will happen if you actually try to attack those crafts right in front of us?” Then his gaze shifted toward the third son. ”Teach your brother how to fight properly… unless youʼre prepared to lose another one.”

”You!!”

”....” The third sonʼs brows furrowed deeply.

That man had just deliberately let go of a perfect opportunity.

At that exact moment, his brother would have been fully focused on targeting the Phantom Shadow Crafts. If the six had launched their attack then, the battlefield would have instantly shifted into a six-versus-four scenario.

That kind of imbalance was deadly.

Three of them would engage three brothers directly, locking them in place, while the remaining three would converge on the fourth, overwhelming him with sheer force, injuring him severely or even killing him within the first few exchanges.

Of course, the cost of such a maneuver would have been the complete destruction of all Phantom Shadow Crafts in the area.

But… it didnʼt seem like that was their goal at all.

Yes, Phantom Shadow Crafts were expensive, extremely expensive. The ones currently surrounding them were worth several billions combined… but could that possibly outweigh the death of a seven-star Royal Soul Lord?

Then why bring them?

And more importantly… how did they even arrive here in the first place?

That question lingered heavily.

Something about this entire situation felt fundamentally wrong.

Whether it was the positioning of the Big Six, standing in deliberate formation, or the hidden Phantom Shadow Crafts circling unseen, it was impossible to determine who was covering whom, or who was creating openings for whom.

It was as if neither side was the true focus.

As if both of them… were merely setting the stage.

Creating an opening… for something else entirely.

”...?”

At that exact moment, the third sonʼs instincts screamed, and he snapped his head sharply toward Helen, his movements abrupt and filled with urgency, as if some invisible thread had suddenly tightened around his awareness.

If his intuition was even remotely correct, then—

Shooom

In the next instant, an immense shadow materialized from absolute nothingness, swallowing the starlight and plunging the entire area into a suffocating dimness.

A colossal black spacecraft revealed itself, its sheer size so overwhelming that it dwarfed everyone present, reducing even these powerful beings into something insignificant beneath its presence, as if they had all been blind to it until this very moment, as if it had always been there… yet not.

Vroooom

Before a single thought could fully form in anyoneʼs mind, before shock could even translate into action, the gigantic vessel unleashed a tightly condensed beam of white and blue energy directly toward Helen.

The instant it fired, everyone felt it.

A terrifying, oppressive force surged through space, carrying destructive power easily capable of annihilating entire cities in one strike, yet what made it truly unsettling was the strange spatial energy embedded within it, as if the beam itself distorted the very fabric of space as it traveled.

”No!!” The five sons exploded into motion, their voices tearing through the battlefield with raw desperation and fury.

Helenʼs corpse was not just a body.

It was mystery.

It was their offering to their father.

It was a key that might unlock a hidden truth, a secret that could elevate them all toward an entirely new level of existence and glory.

They could not… would not… allow it to be destroyed.

”Not today!!” The Big Six reacted instantly, their movements sharp and coordinated, launching attacks not with lethal intent, but with precise control, aiming only to intercept and delay the five brothers.

Bam Bam

At the same time, the Phantom Shadow Crafts erupted into action, releasing a dense and chaotic barrage of fire, their previously hidden presence now fully contributing to the unfolding chaos.

In the span of a single heartbeat, the once still and heavy void transformed completely.

The suffocating silence shattered.

Energy clashed violently.

Light exploded in all directions.

The battlefield turned into a raging inferno, as if a fragment of a star had been forcibly dragged into existence, burning and tearing everything apart.

The overlapping attacks generated violent spatial distortions, ripples that twisted and compressed the surrounding void, forcing the five brothers to halt for just a single second.

And that single second… was everything.

Bzzzt

The beam struck Helen directly.

The moment it connected, it erupted into violent spatial tremors, the explosion not simply destructive, but destabilizing, as if space itself was being folded and shattered at the point of impact.

Without hesitation, the massive black spacecraft surged forward, its engines roaring as it plunged straight into the heart of the explosion, disappearing into the chaos it had just created.

”Dammit, all of you will—!!”

One of Darvionʼs sons managed to force himself free from the interference, turning back toward where his enemies had been, his rage boiling over—

But the sight that met him froze his words in place.

The massive ship… gone.

The Big Six… gone.

The Phantom Shadow Crafts… silent, invisible once more, leaving no trace behind.

The battlefield, moments ago a blazing storm of destruction, now stood eerily still.

As if nothing had ever happened.

As if everything they had just witnessed had been nothing more than a fleeting illusion, a mirage conjured by their own minds.

”....”

”...What just happened?” one of the brothers muttered, his voice uncertain as he slowly lowered his array, his earlier confidence now replaced by confusion.

His focus had been entirely consumed by the imminent clash and the retrieval of Helenʼs body, to the point that everything else had slipped past his perception unnoticed.

”It was something like… a space portal…” the third son spoke, his brows tightly drawn together, his mind racing to reconstruct what he had sensed.

”That strange black spacecraft… it wasnʼt just a weapon platform. It has something capable of generating instantaneous space portals… portals large enough for a structure of that scale to pass through without delay.”

His gaze darkened further.

”So thatʼs how those six appeared… and disappeared. Thatʼs how they were watching us all along… without leaving a single trace.”

”Something like that hasnʼt even been released by the tyrant Antiras yet,” one of the brothers said quietly, his voice carrying disbelief. ”It doesnʼt exist on the market… not even in rumors.”

”Then… does Intiras himself possess it?!” another asked, the question heavy with implication.

”....”

Silence lingered for a moment, thick and contemplative.

”...I think the tyrant would be very interested in knowing about this,” the third son finally said, a slow, calculating smile forming on his lips.

”Perhaps today wasnʼt a complete loss after all.”

His smile deepened slightly, his thoughts aligning as the pieces began to fall into place.

”We have Helen dead.”

”The secret behind excessive law interference.”

”And now… a mysterious spacecraft with capabilities that defy current knowledge.”

He let out a quiet breath, satisfaction creeping into his tone.

”Hmm… not bad at all.”
