Chapter 512: Who Are Valhalla’s Sinners?

The camera snapped to Aria in mid-action. Her silver eyes were cold and precise, ponytail whipping, muscles coiled like springs. Her boot slammed down onto the skull of the bear-like Silverback Mauler, sending shards of bone and debris scattering. Dust hung in the air, momentarily catching the hateful light of her eyes. For a heartbeat, her lips curved in a feral vindication. The monster lay broken, and Aria’s gaze looked down at it with utmost hatred, her eyes asking, ’You dare hurt my beloved?’

The black background returned.

The next line typed itself on, letter by letter:

”Their videos were erased worldwide.”

This time, the music tightened around a trembling wire sound, suspense pulling taut.

The text dissolved.

Luna came into frame, wrapped around the recorder, her cheek squished against his chest, arms locked around the person behind it in a clingy hug. She looked annoyed, but in a cute, pouty way, eyes narrowed like she wanted affection without admitting it.

The audio hummed with building tension.

Then, the video dropped her into battle.

Luna’s roar ripped through the speakers: a raw, warrior’s scream that cut cleanly through the track. Thunder burst across the frame as she charged, blade in hand, lightning tearing open the monster in front of her. Her expression was fierce enough to make the three watching fangirls gasp out loud.

Cut.

Black again.

A third line appeared, slow and almost hesitant:

”Are the girls acting willingly, or are they being controlled?”

The background score softened into a low, unsettling hum.

The line faded.

Nyx materialized next, looking incredibly content at the counter as she cooked. She glanced toward the camera with a sly little smirk, the kind that said she knew something no one else did. Her eyes softened when she blinked, warmth pooling there, looking playful, teasing, and incredibly tender.

A whisper of static rippled across the footage.

Then space fractured behind her.

Nyx walked through a collapsing fold of reality, pink hair whipping around her as gravitational lines curled at her feet. She moved with the slow confidence of someone who owned the battlefield. The lighting warped, shapes bending as she extended one hand toward unseen enemies.

Another cut.

Bastet appeared with a cold glass of milk in hand, which she was sipping with utmost feline grace. She tilted her face toward the camera with the lazy, affectionate contentment of a cat stretching in a warm patch of light. Her tail flicked once, slow and relaxed.

A blink came.

The scene switched to a field erupting in blistering gold as she unleashed a burst of solar magic. Entire groups of monsters vaporized mid-scream, their silhouettes burned away in under a second. The sound shifted into a deep, rumbling flare as heat swallowed the frame.

Calypso appeared last.

She stood in soft candlelight, head slightly tilted, looking into the camera with an expression halfway between devotion and hunger. Her yellow predatory eyes glowed as if she were about to have the most delicious meal of her life.

The music quieted, then came the kill shot.

The screen jolted to a brutal close-up of Calypso’s axe cleaving through a monster’s torso. She didn’t make a sound. Her face remained completely calm as the creature split apart and fell into two twitching halves, looking like she wasn’t even straining to achieve this brutal outcome.

The three accusations returned one by one, each slamming onto the dark screen with a static hiss:

No cameras. No tech.

Their videos were erased worldwide.

Are the girls acting willingly, or are they being controlled?

Each line appeared between cuts of softness and violence, love and brutality, smiles and slaughter.

This confused the viewers. At the beginning of the montage, it was as if the Sinners were saying ’no, we’re innocent!’ when the accusations sounded, and then they were shown off as Kaiden’s beautiful little angels instead of admitting to any truth among the accusations. But that was no longer the case.

The editing refused to answer anything.

Instead, it simply showed both - them being lovely girls but also mighty combatants who should not be messed with.

The confusion was intentional.

Blackness returned, swallowing everything.

A final line formed, repeating the one from the beginning.

”Who are Valhalla’s Sinners?”

The beat hit again in the form of a sharp, low pulse this time, and with it, the eyes appeared.

Only the eyes, the rest remained pitch black.

It was an incredibly mesmerizing bit.

Aria. Silver, glowing softly, catching the light. She blinked once.

Luna. Purple, mischievous, teasing. Blink.

Nyx. Pink, sly, knowing, like she held a secret that could unravel anyone in an instant. Blink.

Bastet. Feline yellow slit pupils, sharp, predatory, and calm. Blink.

Calypso. Demon-yellow, glowing like fire in the dark. Blink.

Each blink hit with the beat, *snap, snap, snap, snap, snap* perfectly timed to become a rhythm of power and intent.

Then silence descended once again.

It was a long, stretching moment. The room, or rather, the millions of people watching, all held their breath.

And finally: Kaiden’s eyes shone, but they were no longer red.

Instead, they were purple.

Radiant, pride incarnate. Not wrathful, not angry. Just proud and commanding.

The darkness shifted. From beside him, the five eyes opened again, all at once this time.

Luna in front, Aria and Nyx to either side, with Bastet and Calypso behind him.

The shadows receded. The throne, the figures, the silent menace of their presence: fully revealed.

Luna sat perched in his lap.

Aria and Nyx were seated on the armrests of a massive, dark throne, elegant yet dangerous.

Bastet and Calypso stood behind him, serving as massive presences, hands resting on his shoulders like guardians - or perhaps more like extensions of his will.

And then they looked directly at the camera.

Slowly. Deliberately. In perfect sync.

A tilt of the head came, followed by a smirk.

Confidence was dripping. Charisma was radiating.

And just like that, the video came to an end.

They didn’t answer the question. It was as if they were saying,

’You tell us.’

...

Silence stretched for long as the three fangirls were left utterly speechless.

Mouths parted, eyes wide, hearts hammering in unison.

Every shred of anticipation, excitement, and awe they had felt moments ago had been crushed, folded, and remade into pure hype.

For a long, suspended moment, not a single one of them could even breathe properly. They were flabbergasted. Utterly. Completely.

And they were not alone.

...

Author: Let me know what you thought about this montage. I debated about skipping it, but I started planning the video and felt like I should not skip. I wonder if you enjoyed. It was a fun experiment for me as I had to do some research about montages, but I understand if you did not enjoy it, so please do let me know.

Also, apologies if the Chapters felt short; I had to reference older Chapters here, so some rereading also occurred next to the researching.

Thanks for reading!
