Chapter 181: Too Many Questions

Bastet’s bare feet padded softly against the polished floor, her sun-kissed legs gleaming under the warm bathhouse lighting. Her golden accessories echoed off the bath’s walls as she moved, hips swaying lazily beneath her flowing getup that left very little to the imagination. She paused near the edge of the tub, eyeing Kaiden with a mix of suspicion and curiosity.

”Master,” she purred, voice smooth as honey, ”why did you have a bath prepared today?”

Kaiden’s smirk faltered for a moment, realizing he might’ve forgotten an important consideration. ”Why? Do you hate water, Bastet?”

The Ra-Blessed Felinid scoffed in response, not appreciating even the thought of her being some smelly monster. She tossed her hair over one shoulder with feminine hurt, golden eyes narrowing. ”Of course not. Master, what kind of a dirty woman do you take me for? I bathe multiple times a day. Self-care is sacred. I wouldn’t skip it unless my life depended on it.”

”Good,” Kaiden nodded with a smile, leaning back with his arms braced on the edge behind him. ”Because today I’ve got a few questions I want to ask you. I figured we might as well make it fun. A warm soak, a bit of banter... It should make the conversation a lot more pleasant, don’t you think?”

The Pharaoh’s strong frowns evaporated as she returned the man’s smile with one of her own, knowing perfectly well that Kaiden didn’t think of her as a filthy woman. His question was innocent in its nature.

Then, Bastet’s gaze sharpened as she studied him. She could tell that he was filming. This was no ordinary bath. It was an event. A stream. But above all else, it was something dearly important to him.

The idea of being part of it, joining her master while he worked, doing her part in their rise to the top... appealed more than the feline thought it would.

She nodded once, gracefully.

”A bath with Master, then,” she purred. ”I accept.”

She stepped closer, her hand extending toward him. Not in demand, but in invitation.

Kaiden, understanding her wordless intent, shifted his weight. One hand slipped around her back, the other under her legs, and in a single smooth motion, he lifted her up and into the tub.

The chat erupted once more:

- ManaMancerX: BRO JUST PRINCESS-CARRIED A GODDESS INTO A BATHTUB I’M LOSING IT

- WetStoneWizard: He’s not even wet yet, and somehow I am.

- HyperPotion: He’s not lifting with his back, he’s lifting with sheer RIZZ.

Kaiden eased Bastet onto his right leg, letting her settle there with the same careful attention one might show a crowned queen. Her skin met the steaming water, and a low sigh escaped her lips at the pleasant heat.

Bastet shifted in his arms, her hands moving with unhurried grace to explore Kaiden’s naked upper body. Her fingers gently stroked the hard plane of his chest muscles, trailing over the defined ridges before drifting lower, mapping the contours of his abs.

A slow, knowing smile spread across her lips as her gaze dropped, landing on the distinct bulge beneath his swim trunks. With an innocent curiosity that belied her true understanding, she lowered her hands even further. Her palm flattened against the fabric, then patted the prominent form within.

”It seems to hurt very badly, Master,” she purred, her voice laced with concern. ”Are you... okay?”

The chat exploded once more, a flurry of emojis and excited exclamations filling the screen.

Kaiden let out a low chuckle at Bastet’s adorable concern, brushing his fingers along the curve of her thigh with idle affection. ”I am fine, but I can’t wait to get started...”

He then continued, ”Well then... With my Bastet here and the scene set, the Q&A is officially underway, people. Ask away. Oh, but before that, we’re offering multiple views so each of you can choose your ideal angle. The chats are merged, so no matter which you click on, you’ll get the full experience.”

Instantly, chat overlays flooded the corner of the stream.

Valhalla’s Sinners have activated Multi-Angle Immersion.

→ Kaiden POV (Default)

→ Coconut Cam 1: Aria’s Angle

→ Coconut Cam 2: Luna’s Angle

→ Coconut Cam 3: Nyx’s Angle

All streams were synchronized, and all chats merged. Viewers could now shift perspectives, see the same moment through different eyes, and bask in the high-resolution glory that only the Valhalla’s Sinners Network’s infrastructure could provide.

The floodgates opened.

- ManaBoner69: FIRST QUESTION: HOW IS SHE EVEN REAL?!?!?!

- HexxedElfette: She’s not trying to escape? What in the lore-hacking hell...

- ChainsnackRPG: Is this an illusion spell, or is she really just... cool with being here?

Bastet tilted her head curiously, watching the chaos unfold. She now had perfect access to the systemic interface, letting her see just what was going on under Valhalla’s Sinners group, led by her master.

Her expression remained unreadable, not caring much at all about the opinion of others.

”Do humans always react this strongly to things they don’t understand?” she asked softly.

”You have no idea...” Kaiden muttered, lips quirking.

And truly, the viewers couldn’t be blamed.

This was the first time—the first time—a true monster girl, a dungeon-born being not tamed through illusions or mind control, was being shown sitting casually beside a human master, seemingly happy.

Every other recorded case—every pretender monster who was attempted to be subjugated—eventually snapped. Elf nobles, harpy courtiers, even a mimic who pretended to be a maid for a week straight—they all cracked under the pressure of pretending.

But Bastet?

She wasn’t pretending.

She wasn’t calculating, nor eyeing Kaiden like prey, nor subtly testing her binds for weaknesses. Her posture was relaxed. Her voice warm. Her smile... genuine.

As if something in her had shifted.

As if, by accepting her subjugation, she’d undergone a transformation far deeper than anyone expected.

A philosophical war broke out in the merged chat:

- DungeoneerPhD: No cursed collar. No forbidden sigils. She’s acting on her own. Is this a new class of loyalty?

- MythosWarden: No, no. I think it’s the Paragon of Sin class doing something. It’s rewriting monster logic somehow. It must be a lot more unique than what meets the eye.

- CatGirlClergy: I converted to Bastetism five minutes ago and would like to know the first sacrament.

Kaiden’s gaze suddenly darkened.

The corners of his mouth curled into a sly, ominous grin.
