Demonic Po*nstar System

Chapter 77: Pesky Fangirl Statistic

With that out of the way, it was time to check the fangirl statistic. It was the bane of his existence, for he had no clue how it worked. It went beyond porn—unlike views and income—because he already had a fangirl even before starring in the Zadie-directed films.

[Fangirls: 1]

”Fucking hell!” Kaiden shouted angrily.

”What?!” Luna shouted back. She was still mad due to Nyx’s words and had been busy glaring icy daggers at her ever since the verbal clash happened between the two, so Kaiden’s shout startled her.

”I’m not getting any fucking fangirls!”

”Kai, that sounds very weird without knowing the context...” Aria giggled merrily.

”What more does the system want?! One of them even drew an artwork of me in shining silver armor!” Kaiden grumbled. ”Please send her my regards, by the way,” Kaiden added once he managed to calm himself.

”Already did!” Aria cheered, not at all bothered by his outburst. She gently grabbed his right hand and started massaging it before continuing, ”Let’s think this through calmly, okay?”

Kaiden felt bad about shouting once he saw her warm reaction. He couldn’t help but exclaim inwardly that this girl was a true angel. ”You’re right... Sorry. The only thing I can think of is either I just don’t have enough of ’me’ out there for them to get immersed in and thus become fans, or I need more variety. So far, they only know me for a single fight and two porn videos. Well, there was my appearance on Luna’s stream as well, but only a dozen people were present. I’m disappointed and, frankly, quite scared at the fact that not even the seemingly fanatic Princeless Princess woman became a fangirl.”

”She is, trust me.” Luna decreed once she calmed down alongside Kaiden.

”I guess then the only explanation is that the system needs more from them to be considered my fangirls. I’ve been thinking that our current recording setup is not satisfactory. Right now, only my cock is visible, which is probably not enough to fully draw in the female audience. They likely leave once their kitten gets rid of their urges.”

”Oh, that’s right! We can invest in a mana camera now that we have the funds. Doing so will give us a third-person angle to work with,” Nyx offered.

Kaiden shook his head. ”No, we could barely afford the cheapest one, and it would result in horrible tape compared to my skill’s pristine, clear footage. I want to use this money to invest in dungeon gear; it’s high time we start leveling up.”

”Then...?” Aria asked with a confused face.

”I’ll use an upgrade point,” Kaiden announced with an excited grin.

Kaiden could only use upgrade points for the system’s skills and not his class’s spells, so he couldn’t upgrade the Wrath stance and its spells using Upgrade Points even if he wanted to. But with the upgrade of his classes from Pornstar to Paragon of Sin, its spell, the [First-Person Camera] became an F-tier skill instead.

All three girls had a similar reaction to his. They knew Kaiden was stockpiling Upgrade Points until the perfect opportunity arose, and it seemed he finally decided it was time.

However, Kaiden was a bit worried. If it upgraded to something like a virtual reality experience where he could record not only what he sees but also how he feels, that would be too much. He was way too possessive to share how it felt to be inside his girls. In his mind, letting the public watch them have fun was harmless; after all, his lovers would only ever do the deed with him. No one had the right to even touch their hair but him.

Therefore, if Kaiden gained such a nasty upgrade, he would become crippled as a content creator because he would refuse to use it. ’You only live once...’ The successor of the Heavenly Demon thought nervously while desperately begging all that was holy not to ruin his otherwise awesome day.

An Upgrade Point was RNG in the aspect that it could upgrade only one tier (possibly none at all?) or more, and it all depended on luck.

Kaiden mentally invested the point and awaited the result. A similar gacha animation played in his mind, but now it was not an opening ceremony but a giant golden hammer hitting the skill card as it was laid down on the ground. After the fifth hit, it shattered into little pieces, at which point tense music started playing.

The shattered pieces started to reassemble to create a new card. Once the final piece was added together, the tense music ceased, replaced by loud trumpets. On the surface of the card, Kaiden could see a man who heavily resembled him sitting on a throne with his cock freely dangling out in the open, but the drawing was from a strange angle as if it was drawn from the PoV of someone kneeling in front of him.

[First-Person Camera] (F-tier) → [Harem Vision] (D-tier)

[Harem Vision: The Successor may share his [First-Person Camera] with his Sinsworn Valkyries.]

”Yes!” Kaiden pumped both fists into the air victoriously.

Once he shared his upgraded skill, the girls also rejoiced, but more so because of his adorable antics. They couldn’t help but have their hearts beat a bit faster than normal when they watched Kaiden. Normally, he was so composed and confident, but the fangirl thing had been very clearly annoying him for a while, so now that he found a potential solution, his worries visibly started leaving his body in an adorably boyish manner.

’He’s so cute.’ Each Valkyrie thought inwardly while having an overjoyed smile plastered on their beautiful faces.

”The news is about to start. Let’s watch it. Maybe Kai will be featured!” Aria shouted excitedly once she felt their bathroom-shushed talking had come to a satisfactory end.

”Sure.”

His room was well equipped. It was the awakened hospital, after all. Only the most luxurious private hospitals could compare to the treatment the government afforded its awakened people. Therefore, a big TV hung on the wall facing his bed, but there was a second one in front of the lush sofa as well. They quickly got seated and turned it on.

The first was about a new S-tier awakened being born in China. Due to their large populace, they got the most out of the indiscriminate way the mana apocalypse functioned, namely the ~15% chance each human had to awaken.

”For the second story of the day, the United States welcomes its third A-tier awakened of the year, but there was a truly fascinating story that went with it. An F-tier-” Just as the news reporter was about to say it, the screen flashed, and a new reporter’s recording was shown.

”What the fuck?!” Luna cursed.
