Demonic Po*nstar System

Chapter 76: Catfight

”Are you throwing a hissy fit while hiding in our boyfriend’s warm embrace because my videos did much better?” Nyx asked in a coy tone. She glanced at Kaiden and gave him a playful wink as if to say ’Watch this!’

The reaction was instantaneous. ”Haaah?!” Luna roared furiously as she let go of Kaiden’s waist and turned toward the pink-haired woman.

”What is it, Miss Chaos Gremlin? Did I say something wrong?” she asked in an innocent tone and acted as if she truly didn’t grasp the reason behind the gamer girl’s strong reaction.

”Yes, in fact, you did! The reason your video has more views is that Kaiden put your giant milkers on the thumbnail, and the incessantly drooling simps instinctively clicked on it, hopelessly getting drawn to it like moths to light!”

”I don’t see your point. Are you saying that I’m a more attractive woman? If you want, we can use my picture for the thumbnails of your videos in the future.”

”???!!!” Luna’s reaction was nearly on the level Kaiden had when David called his lover hookers yesterday. That is to say, she was boiling with rage. Her features darkened, and she stomped on the ground with fury. ”You’ll see, you cowkin bitch! My next video will triple the views yours get!”

”I accept the challenge, bestie.” Nyx nodded with an arrogant smile.

Kaiden sent an appreciative glance at his Space Valkyrie. She was a truly great actor and a social butterfly who understood human emotions very well. He considered himself lucky to have such an amazing manipulator on his side and not against him, for he couldn’t punch ’emotional manipulation’ in the face with a [Doom Strike] like he could rude ’tards like David.

Kaiden then refocused his gaze on the statistics he gained. He wanted to leave fangirls for last, so he checked the income stat first. No matter how many people watched the videos Zadie uploaded, his income would remain at 9 because he was paid a fixed amount of $900 once the filming was concluded. Any further profit would solely go toward the company’s and its shareholders’ bank accounts.

He knew Nyx’s premium video already earned 40 Chronos, so that was 40 income. The other two videos he uploaded were free to view, but awakened content creators who uploaded to the platform still received money based on the views.

The payout was as such: for every 10,000 hours spent watching a video, the uploader would receive one Chronos. It was not 10,000 views but hours watched. Streaming had half the rate, so 20,000 hours spent watching earned the content creator a Chronos.

While it might seem an unfairly low rate at first, one must consider that, first, this money materialized from thin air, as the awakened platform generated it. Second, the awakened media platform had real-time automatic language translation, making the content uploaded to it watchable all over the world. Lastly and most importantly, everyone had access to it. You didn’t need an internet connection, electricity, signal reception, or an expensive gadget like a phone to watch.

The entire human populace of Earth was potential viewers. Ranging from wealthy businessmen in highrise buildings to redneck junkies in trailer parks, from Eskimos on the icy poles to illiterate African tribesmen running from lions in nothing but their loincloths. All had perfect access to Valhalla’s Sinners.

With his musings done, Kaiden finally checked his income.

[Income: 9 → 59.8]

’Hmm... Only 10.8 from the two videos combined.’ Kaiden was a bit disappointed, but only because of how much Nyx’s premium video earned them, which distorted his expectations.

Both Luna’s and Nyx’s foreplay videos were only about ten minutes long, so six people needed to watch in full for one hour of watch time to be reached.

Furthermore, considering these videos were only slightly older than 24 hours and would continue to generate passive income until the end of time, the results were incredibly good.

To begin with, Kaiden only intended these videos to test the waters, he wasn’t disappointed when Luna’s shower play only had 15 views after an hour, yet now here he was a day later, disappointed with nearly 700k views. He felt like punching himself for being so ungrateful for their great fortune. They just earned $5k for a few minutes of ’work,’ which would likely end up being at least $7k in a month’s time without needing further input on their end.

While the non-porn-related content Kaiden uploads won’t add to the three statistics of the system, they will still earn at the same rates, and more importantly, help Valhalla’s Sinners diversify their content as he planned, so he decided to share his [First-Person Camera] recorded fight with David on the media platform. They needed money greatly to get a new home, good gear for dungeon diving, and to settle the girls’ financial troubles, so he wasn’t going to hold back. It was amazing footage, anyhow.

Kaiden found himself facing a very important crossroads when deciding on a title for it. It was time to settle on a brand for his personality.

If he gave it a title like ’Beating the shit out of an annoying pest’ he would adhere to a specific audience, likely a male-dominated violent crowd would be his most prominent viewer demographic.

If he did something boring like ’Awakened Duel against an A-tier Archmage, ’ it would be too generic and potentially brand himself as a bland person.

’My epic showdown against an A-tier Archmage’ would be fitting to draw in the edgy teenagers.

No, that title wasn’t it either. Kaiden wanted one that would adhere to adults, and both genders at that. He was especially careful to brand himself as an ideal man for the female viewerbase because of the fangirl statistic.

’Bleeding To Protect My Women: Overcoming All Odds!’

Kaiden decided to make it romantic and badass at the same time.

He included the prelude that led to the fight, namely the talk he had with David. Then he skipped the parts until he got to the arena where the fight ensued. Kaiden finished the video with him waking up in the hospital and getting embraced by the three teary-eyed lovers of his.

It was a perfect little movie that lasted about 20 minutes. He could stretch it longer but wanted it to be quality over quantity. They were in the fanbase-gathering process for now, not the fanbase-milking one.

For the thumbnail, Kaiden decided to make a little edit where he cut the frame in half. In one half, he put in a picture his mind had of his three cheery girlfriends looking like beautiful angels while glancing at him lovingly, and the other half was David’s broken skull with Kaiden’s blood smearing his face crimson red.

He couldn’t help but feel greatly excited to know how this upload will perform and to read the comments of the viewers.

With that out of the way, it was time to check the fangirl statistic. It was the bane of his existence, for he had no clue how it worked. It went beyond porn—unlike views and income—because he already had a fangirl even before starring in the Zadie-directed films.
