Chapter 172 Traveling the World

Chapter 172 Traveling the World
Of course, Zhang Cheng chose to give up not because he didn’t want to fight the boss, but because he might be the only player in the field at night. It might be difficult for him to swipe the map boss alone.

But now, after the heart of blood completed the second level of advancement for the bloodthirsty necklace again, Zhang Cheng felt that even if he was alone at night, he didn’t have to let go of the refreshed map bosses.

This will undoubtedly speed up Zhang Cheng’s collection of gene fragments.

After all, there are more and more resource maps now, and Zhang Cheng can’t guarantee that he can get every map boss.

But if such a long time at night is added, there will definitely be more bosses that Zhang Cheng can encounter.

Zhang Cheng didn’t even bother to take the time to do ordinary map assistance missions now. To be honest, the rewards given by the map assistance missions are not as fast as Zhang Cheng’s own actions to gain experience.

Zhang Cheng doesn’t care about the alliance points, the alliance point reward given by the aid mission may not be as much as what Zhang Cheng can earn by selling a piece of equipment casually.

At that time, Zhang Cheng might as well make two more pieces of equipment at home and sell them, the speed of making money can’t be slowed down.

Seeing such a gratifying effect of strengthening the bloodthirsty necklace, Zhang Cheng couldn’t help but feel even more eager for other advanced parts of the bloodthirsty necklace.

Zhang Cheng hung the bloodthirsty necklace back on his neck again, and hid the appearance of the equipment.

Then, Zhang Chengcai took out another item from the inventory that Old Buck sent to him in the mail - the component sensor.

After checking the instruction manual of this sensor, Zhang Cheng found that it is very convenient to use, and only needs to be turned on every day.

It’s just that turning on the sensor needs to consume the scanning chip to obtain the surrounding signals. Zhang Cheng also noticed it before, and Old Barker also gave the blueprint of the scanning chip in the email.

The sensor must be used by Zhang Cheng. Zhang Cheng immediately checked the production materials of the scanning chip and found that it is not too troublesome to make.

There are quite a few ready-made materials, so Dang even made eight or nine scanning chips.

I don’t know how long this scanning chip can be used, but Zhang Cheng saw that the production cost of this scanning chip is not expensive, so he made several at once.

Next, Zhang Cheng is naturally going to take the sensor out to find new component signals, of course, it will inevitably consume the scanning chip.

If you have to go back again because you don’t have enough chips, it will undoubtedly waste a lot of time.

After packing up his belongings, Zhang Cheng left the house with the component sensor and scanning chip.

Both the Green Forest and Wushan Mine have been occupied by the Federation. During the period of occupation, the Federation’s collection team has almost explored all the areas on these two maps.

Since even the Federation didn’t find anything special in these two maps, it means that the probability of other parts of the Bloodthirsty Necklace being hidden in these two maps is very small.

Combined with the task of Dr. Li Yunshan’s son’s strange illness that Zhang Cheng has always been concerned about, some pre-mission props are needed to treat Li Yunshan’s son.

That’s right, Zhang Cheng was going to use the most stupid method to run through all the resource maps outside the green forest and Wushan Mine.

While the sensor was scanning the surrounding environment, I also took the opportunity to do the task entrusted by Dr. Li Yunshan.

First, he took a federal helicopter to the polar ice field. The polar ice field is still cold, but in fact, with Zhang Cheng’s current physical fitness, he can basically resist the cold conditions here.

After arriving at the polar ice sheet, Zhang Cheng summoned the amphibious phantom, took out a scanning chip from his backpack, and inserted it into the groove of the component sensor.

The component sensor took effect immediately. Old Buck told Zhang Cheng that the sensing range of this sensor is roughly a circle with a diameter of about 50 meters, which is definitely not small.

However, the field map is so wide after all, it is not easy to run through all the maps, even with an extremely fast amphibious phantom.

After sighing lightly, Zhang Cheng didn’t waste any time. He turned the handlebar of the Amphibious Phantom, cranked the engine, and started running towards the route he had planned.

He has thought about it carefully, and using his current route is already the most efficient way to scan the map. The area of the polar ice sheet is relatively large in all resource maps, and there may be some places on the snow that are inconvenient to move. .

So Zhang Cheng felt that he would need at least ten hours to complete the map of the polar ice sheet.

However, it is related to the advancement of the bloodthirsty necklace, no matter how difficult it is, Zhang Cheng still thinks it is worth it.

Now it is time to consider how long a scanning chip can last.

As a result, three hours later, Zhang Cheng’s first scanning chip had already indicated that all the durability of the item had been consumed, and Zhang Cheng needed to replace the next scanning chip.

Three hours is more in line with Zhang Cheng’s expectation. He took nine scanning chips with him when he went out, so it would not be a problem to last for twenty or thirty hours.

Zhang Cheng galloped forward, and at the same time, he had to pay attention to whether there were mission props needed by the strange doctor refreshed on the map in the surrounding environment.

After all, only after finding all the medicinal materials required by the weird doctor, he will introduce his senior brother for himself, who is also the most critical person in the whole mission.

Zhang Cheng used the speed of the amphibious phantom to the extreme. It is difficult for others to observe the surrounding environment while driving like this, let alone a small, perhaps unremarkable medicinal plant.

Don’t forget that Zhang Cheng has the pupil of delusion, which gave Zhang Cheng the ability to observe the details, and at the same time greatly strengthened Zhang Cheng’s dynamic vision.

The ability given to Zhang Cheng by the Delusion Breaker is not only to see through weaknesses in battle. In various situations, the Delusion Breaker’s Eyes can bring countless conveniences to Zhang Cheng.

No, after a whole day of sailing, Zhang Cheng successfully found two medicinal herbs for the mission in the polar ice field.

It’s a pity that Zhang Cheng’s component sensor didn’t respond during the whole day, which made Zhang Cheng feel very regretful.

But it’s nothing, Zhang Cheng won’t be discouraged by this trivial matter, at least he has circled the entire map of the polar ice sheet today, and can exclude this map.

Switching the next target to the yellow sand desert, Zhang Chengcheng couldn’t believe it after searching the maps one by one. After he had scanned all the maps, he still didn’t get anything in the end.
