Chapter 160 Surprise

Chapter 160 Surprise
After taking a deep breath, Zhang Cheng opened the formula research station, ready to start extracting the formula.

Four thousand recipe fragments, even for Zhang Cheng, cannot be ignored. The total value of the four thousand recipe fragments is as high as 80 alliance points!
Moreover, such things as recipe fragments cannot be bought immediately with alliance points.

There are only so many recipe remnants that can be obtained every day, and it is not an easy task to accumulate enough recipe remnants.

So Zhang Cheng is inevitably nervous at the moment. If the result of drawing the formula this time is not bad, then his strength will be significantly improved.

On the interface of the formula research station, an interface of ’elite formula synthesis’ has appeared, and Zhang Cheng clicks to enter.

[Do you want to consume 500 formula fragments to synthesize an elite formula? 】

[Balance of current player’s formula residual pages: 4211]

”Confirm synthesis.”

Zhang Cheng clicked the confirmation button and watched the brightness change on the screen of the special research station.

Five hundred formula fragments were combined and assembled back and forth, and then the mystery of a brand new formula was revealed.

[The formula was synthesized successfully, and the formula for throwing props - biochemical grenade was obtained. 】

”Biochemical grenade?”

A strangeness flashed in Zhang Cheng’s eyes. He thought about many possible formulas, but he didn’t think about throwing props.

Biochemical grenades are different from ordinary grenades. Ordinary fragmentation grenades only have the functions of blasting and sputtering shrapnel, while biochemical grenades have the effect of biochemical killing, as the name suggests.

Naturally, the research and development of biochemical grenades was not aimed at targeting humans, but was developed to target infected organisms.

Biochemical grenades not only have stronger explosive power than ordinary fragmentation grenades, but also have a wider explosion range than ordinary grenades.

At the same time, after the biochemical grenade explodes, it will catalyze a gas that is specifically lethal to infected organisms within the explosion range.

Infected organisms will have various symptoms in this gas, not only falling into a certain degree of weakness, but also losing blood every second.

The speed of blood loss is also related to the resistance of infected creatures, but ordinary infected creatures generally do not have much resistance to biochemical grenades. Only boss-level, elite-level, and even boss-level infected people may have powerful resistance.

Therefore, for infected organisms, biochemical grenades are much more powerful than ordinary fragment grenades.

It is also a large-scale explosive damage, and the effect of the biochemical grenade seems to overlap with that of the howitzer.

In fact, since the biochemical grenade is a throwing prop, the scene where it can actually work is more flexible than the howitzer.

And with Zhang Cheng’s current arm strength, the distance he could throw the biochemical grenade would be much farther than that of the howitzer.

At the same time, holding a howitzer may also affect Zhang Cheng’s mobility in many cases. The biochemical grenade is of course much lighter in comparison, and holding it will hardly affect Zhang Cheng’s speed.

In general, although it was beyond Zhang Cheng’s expectation, Zhang Cheng felt that it was good to get the biochemical grenade in the first shot.

One-time consumables such as biochemical grenades are also beneficial. You don’t have to worry about durability issues. You can continue to make them if you don’t have them. Of course, the consumption of making a grenade at a time is much smaller than making weapons directly.

The biochemical grenade made Zhang Cheng a little unexpected, and he couldn’t help but look forward to what props he would draw next.

Zhang Cheng continued to click the next recipe synthesis button.

[The synthesis is successful, and the formula is obtained - an elite collection pickaxe. 】

All players are familiar with collecting pickaxes. A collecting pickaxe can greatly improve the efficiency of players collecting resources in the wild.

At the same time, there is also a very big difference between a gathering pickaxe and a gathering pickaxe.

There is a big difference in the extraction cost between the elite-level formula synthesis and the special-level formula synthesis, so the performance of the elite-level collection pick has a very large performance improvement compared to the special-level collection pick used by Zhang Cheng before.

[Elite-level collection pickaxe, attributes:
Main resource collection amount: 30
Main resource collection speed +20%
Main resource gathering critical strike rate +20%
Chance of acquiring sub-resources +20%
Secondary resource crit rate +20%
Durability: 400
Entry 1: Labor-saving, labor-saving collection tools reduce the effort you consume when collecting—the hunger consumption speed -10% when collecting
Entry 2: Exquisite, the durability consumption of elite-level gathering picks is reduced by 10% when doing gathering work]

The attributes of the elite collection picks are almost twice that of the special collection picks, except for the mining of the main resources.

The super-high collection speed bonus and collection crit rate of the elite collection pick will undoubtedly greatly increase Zhang Cheng’s speed of obtaining collection experience points when collecting resources.

This can just make up for Zhang Cheng’s current dilemma of relatively backward collection level to a certain extent.

If he continues to follow Zhang Cheng’s current daily route, his collection level may be far from the production level and combat level in the future.

After all, Zhang Cheng now has a large number of rare formulas and a large amount of material resources that can be obtained every day, so there must be a lot of equipment and props made every day.

As a result, Zhang Cheng was able to obtain a large amount of production experience points, and how could the speed of production level increase be slowed down.

Not to mention the combat level, the howitzer and the horse-chopping knife are both artifacts for gaining combat experience, and Zhang Cheng is a player who frequently engages in combat activities, so the combat level has always been far ahead.

The emergence of expert-level collection picks is necessary, which will strengthen Zhang Cheng’s weakest collection aspect.

Now it seems that the most important way for Zhang Cheng to obtain collection experience points every day is to rely on collecting activities in various maps every day. Occasionally, he will be lucky enough to collect black nightshade in Duobei Snow Mountain in exchange for half-level collection experience points.

Therefore, Zhang Cheng was very happy to get an elite pickaxe. Although this seems to be a very simple formula, it cannot be denied that the elite pickaxe will be very practical.

While these thoughts floated in Zhang Cheng’s mind, he was still paying attention to the rhythm of the synthetic formula.

After another time interval passed, Zhang Cheng clicked the synthesis formula button.

[Successfully synthesized the elite formula, and obtained the furniture formula - elevator. 】

”elevator?”

Zhang Cheng couldn’t help being taken aback when he saw this formula appearing on the formula research platform.

There is nothing special about the elevator in the game. Its function is the same as that of an ordinary elevator, but it looks more resistant to beating.

But the elevator is still somewhat useful for development to the late game.

Because as the level of the player’s manor increases, the base area of the manor will gradually expand.

The houses built by players on the foundation will become bigger and taller, and naturally elevators will be needed.
