Chapter 85 Pork Rib Soup

Chapter 85 Pork Rib Soup

”Come on, director, you smoke this, with explosive beads, this is very enjoyable.”

The three squatted on the ground, and He Luo took the Marlboro Double Burst from Chen Lei on the right, and handed it to the left.

Li Tongfu took the Marlboro and lit it up, frowning slightly
”Nothing special?”

He Luo rolled his eyes and pinched the popping bead on the cigarette holder for him: ”You’re so stupid, you have to pinch it here.”

The refreshing aroma of mint and grass hit his nostrils. Li Tongfu suddenly became energetic and shivered. He had never experienced this feeling despite his more than 20 years of smoking experience.
”Fuck, what is this? So exciting?”

He Luo looked at him with disdain and called himself a chain smoker, which was nothing.

”This is what I call popping beads, small liquid capsules hidden in the filter. According to your preference, you can pinch them with your fingers or bite them with your teeth. It’s so cool.”

After finishing speaking, he saw Chen Dapao crushing two explosive beads in a row, took a deep breath, and snorted contentedly.
”This is so cool. Director, try it!”

Li Tongfu also imitated him and squeezed two popping beads in succession. The sweet smell of the fruit mixed with the cool feeling of mint gave him a wonderful experience of eating fruit in an Arctic ice cave.

”Fuck, awesome!” Li Tongfu praised sincerely.

However, he never thought that one day he would squat with his students in front of the urinal in the toilet and smoke.

He also never expected that there would be a student who knew his most respected brother better than he did.

While smoking, He Luo and Li Tongfu talked about his elder brother Li Jinfu selling oden, which has become popular in Cannes.

As a younger brother, he didn’t know it at all.

After searching the Internet, I found that the photos of my brother selling cooked food and boiled skewers have been swiped all over the local Weibo and circle of friends in Cannes.

Even the young female teachers in her own school made a point of going to Jiulian Non-staple Food Store to check in.

Unfortunately, his younger brother Li Tongfu was the last to know about all this.

Only then did he realize that he hadn’t talked to his elder brother on the phone for a long time, and he also lacked a lot of due care for this elder brother who raised him up since he was a child.

”Ashamed, ashamed!”

Li Tongfu stared deeply at the water in the urinal, and couldn’t say a word for a long time.

He Luo got up and patted him on the shoulder.

”Go to Yongping Street with me after school, I just want to go there too.”

After school in the afternoon, He Luo was sitting in Li Tongfu’s Santana, flicking his phone boredly to see if Jiulian Grocery’s screen was swiping again.

Among the students who rode their bicycles home, several of them saw He Luo, who was sitting in Santana’s co-pilot.

They exclaimed, what the hell, He Luo actually has something to do with the dean!
The car passed through the streets of Kangcheng District during the evening rush hour after get off work, and finally stopped at the end of Yongping Street.

The original Jiulian non-staple food store is only a dispensable existence on Yongping Street, because there is a life supermarket half a street away, and what is available in the non-staple food store is basically there.

Most of the people who come here are for convenience, or want to take care of Lao Li’s business.

But today is completely different.

The crowds of people who came here were like moths chasing the fire, and like a school of fish chasing the light, they blocked the surrounding area.

I haven’t been here for a few days, and the name of Uncle Li’s Oden Cooking in Jiulian Non-staple Food Shop has become more and more famous. A fence for queuing has been set up at the door to facilitate order maintenance.

He Luo sometimes wonders, is it because no one in Kangcheng District has ever eaten oden?

How can a small skewer become so popular.

After thinking about it carefully, I realized that it was not that simple.

It’s not Oden that’s popular, it’s the image of Uncle Li.

An amiable image of an uncle next door who is by your side every day and tells you to eat breakfast at work and relax after get off work.

He always smiles and listens to every customer’s complaints and complaints. He is like a safe haven, warming the hearts of office workers.

In today’s fast culture era, this kind of spirit and quality is really rare.

It just so happens that everyone now likes to discover the beauty around them and publish it on the short video platform, and the news spreads extremely fast.

After going back and forth, a chemical reaction started, and the Jiulian Non-staple Food Store was completely on fire.

Even the business of the entire Yongping Street has been raised a lot, which is what the merchants of the entire street are happy to see.

Of course, this also includes He Luo.

Passing through the layers of overlapping figures, Li Tongfu saw the busy figure among them, smiling and chatting with the diners around him, and he did not forget to constantly test the maturity of the ingredients underneath with food clips.

After the customers made their selections, he brushed the sauces for them. After paying, he did not forget to say: ”Remember to eat it while it’s hot, please go slowly!”

Li Tongfu sighed in his heart, his eldest brother’s smile was still as warm and inspiring as before.

”Why are you standing there? Don’t you want to try your brother’s oden?” He Luo hit him with his elbow and went to the back of the long queue.

By the time they reached the queue, the sky had completely darkened.

Li Jinfu looked at the two customers in front of him, an old man and a young man, both of whom were familiar faces to him. He was so surprised that he was speechless. His mouth was wide open, but he could not say a word.

Forget about He Luo, why did his younger brother, who is the dean, also come?Aren’t you busy at work?
”You, what are you doing?”

He Luo chuckled, and patted the dean on the back cheerfully. There is no need to be awkward when reuniting adults after a long absence.
”This old boy insisted that he wanted to eat oden, so I brought him here!”

Old Li Tou understood immediately, and a warm smile appeared on his face again: ”Come on, pick whatever you want to eat, I’ll treat you today.”

That day, on the road of Yongping Street, there was a middle-aged man eating fish and tofu until he shed tears.

Li Tongfu sniffed his nose, and took a sip of soup against the steaming heat.

Then he seemed to be a little curious and looked at the white soup in his hand carefully again and again.

”Brother Li said that this is his original secret recipe of thick and fragrant big bone soup, but you must be familiar with it?”

Li Tongfu nodded, a little sobbing: ”When I was growing up, there were only some cabbage and radishes at home every day. After my brother got off work, he went to the butcher’s shop on the street to beg for mercy. The boss refused to give it, so he stood there until he was dead. I was impatient, and felt that my brother was hindering him from doing business, so he just threw away a piece of unsalable pork bone.”

”Half a pork bone, with white radish and scallions added, I stared at it in front of the stove and boiled it all night.”

”That was the first time I had bone broth.”

Speaking of this, he drank the remaining soup in the bowl, and the rich aroma flowed down his throat, warming his stomach and awakening something deeper. .

He looked up at Li Jinfu, who was busy entertaining other guests, and muttered to himself
”Brother, ribs are no longer difficult to buy, but my brother has never had such a delicious soup!”

He Luo rubbed the tip of his nose, letting the middle-aged man immerse himself in endless memories.

It would be a while before Lao Litou finished his work, so he could only wait until then to start reminiscing about old times. He said hello and went to see Miaoguo not far away.
