Brother Dao Took the Entertainment Industry by Storm, Fans Beg Me Not to Kill Anymore

Chapter 850: Xiao He Seeks a Life, Rakshasa Reborn

The next moment, it seemed as if something flew right in front of the two men.

”Smack!”

”Ah!”

Before they could even see what had flown over, the middle-aged master holding the knife was struck squarely in the face by the object, letting out a miserable shriek.

Immediately after, Bao Wenyin, who was sitting on the sofa, had his head grabbed before he could even see who had entered, and was slammed onto the coffee table.

Accompanied by a crisp sound, the young master, who possessed no combat ability and was physically frail to begin with, was knocked unconscious right on the coffee table.

As for the middle-aged master, whose face was covered in blood from being struck by the flying tablet, he clutched his nose and stared in terror at the person who had suddenly burst in. He raised his hand to press the alarm on the table, but was once again grabbed by his topknot by Xiao He and dragged to the other side.

This sudden situation stunned the two women in the corner and completely dazed the middle-aged man being dragged along.

”*&%#—”

The man was agitated and began ranting in his native language, which Xiao He could not understand, while simultaneously waving the small knife in his hand, trying to slash Xiao Heʼs hand. However, Xiao He, filled with fury and having plenty of strength, simply gripped the manʼs wrist, twisted it back, and kicked him to the ground.

At the same time, his hand was still tightly gripping the manʼs hair.

Consequently, due to the inertia of the manʼs body falling, his hair was ripped out by Xiao He as well.

”Ow—”

He showed absolutely no mercy; the strands of hair, along with the scalp and flesh, were torn right off.

Afterward, Xiao He twisted the manʼs other hand behind his back again, while pulling out the belt and handcuffs that seemed to have been prepared on the coffee table, directly binding the manʼs hands and feet.

”Who are you? Who are you? Do you know where this is? Do you know who we are? You audacious fool, are you courting death?”

Wensa, treated this way by the strange young man who had suddenly burst in and now bound like a shrimp, writhing helplessly on the floor, was so angry he nearly vomited blood.

The young man in front of him merely adjusted his black gloves in a leisurely manner and then kicked him in the stomach once more.

”Ugh—”

This time, Wensa was truly kicked into vomiting, his stomach churning violently. He could only curl up in pain once again, completely stripped of his earlier arrogance.

”Iʼm in a terrible mood right now.”

The young man crouched in front of him and said in an icy tone, ”I advise you to answer one question for every one I ask. Otherwise, I wouldnʼt mind slicing your stomach open to see whatʼs inside—whether itʼs filled with foul water, or if you, Master, have already ascended to immortality, looking down on earthly creatures, and thus birthed a Rakshasa Golden Core.”

The more he said this, the more Xiao He wanted to sneer.

Then, he slammed the man against the floor once again.

”Thud!”

Only this time, he didnʼt control his strength well. He slammed the man against the floor, knocking the master, who also had no real capability, unconscious.

Thus, less than three minutes after Xiao He entered the room, two people were already lying on the floor.

He hadnʼt even alerted anyone outside.

Only the two girls in the corner remained, curled up and trembling.

Xiao He glanced at them but didnʼt go over to comfort them immediately. Instead, he walked around the room, confirmed that everything was safe, and then took off his hat and mask.

”Donʼt be afraid. My name is Xiao He. Perhaps you recognize me?”

He walked to within a few steps of the two girls and crouched down, revealing his face.

Although doing this was overly narcissistic, it was truly convenient and efficient. Xiao He had also realized by now that with his fame, at least his face would no longer be mistaken for that of a murderer, which greatly reduced a lot of unnecessary trouble and misunderstandings.

The two girls, who had been cowering, suddenly had one of them raise her head.

After their eyes met, one of them was the first to shed tears.

”I know you.”

When a person is constantly in an absolutely strange and dangerous environment, suddenly seeing a familiar face they have seen before makes it hard not to be instantly transported back to that beautiful and pure past, as if they were still living in the human world instead of this purgatory.

”I know you. A long time ago, my classmates and I watched your movie... That seems like something from a past life.”

The girl had a very beautiful face, but her eyes were hollow and numb. Only when she stared at Xiao Heʼs face would nostalgia and hope appear in her eyes, while she began to murmur.

At this moment, she wasnʼt missing Xiao He, but rather the past events and old friends she associated with seeing him.

Back in the summer of that year, she could still go to the movies and go shopping with her friends. On the way, they would chat about the celebrities they followed, gossip, share funny stories from their lives, tease each other about their crushes, and imagine their future lives.

However, she could never go back.

It felt like a completely different life.

For a moment, she thought she had actually died.

She would never see those people from before again, which was why she was seeing those people from the past now.

”So, did I finally die?”

She asked Xiao He, weeping silently.

Xiao He was silent for a moment.

When he met those scarlet eyes and heard such a question, he realized his temper was still a bit too good.

It was truly a pity to just simply tie those people up and throw them on the floor.

He should have just thrown them directly into the sea.

”You are safe for the time being. I promise, I will take you back.”

Xiao He could only continue to say this.

The girl shed silent tears again.

Afterward, as if remembering something, she wiped her face and looked at the girl still trembling beside her, saying to Xiao He, ”She is not Chinese, she doesnʼt understand our language. I donʼt know which country she is from either. She doesnʼt speak English, so we cannot communicate.”

So, these were not just citizens of China; there were people from other countries as well.

Xiao He clenched his fists, sighed, and said, ”I understand. Donʼt worry, just get some sleep for now and rest well.”

It was truly difficult for him to explain the current situation to them right now, and it was impossible to press them for details about what they had experienced, so he could only let them sleep first.

Once they woke up, they could go home.

As for these evil people—

Xiao He turned around, his expression cold and grim. He stood before the master, arms crossed, and simultaneously raised his foot to kick the man fiercely again.

This time, the kick woke the man directly from his unconscious state.

”Ugh—”

Wensa woke up from his faint in pain, lifted his head, and looked at Xiao He with a terrified expression.

Xiao He stood right in front of him, against the light, with most of his face shrouded in shadow, making it hard to tell if he was human or a ghost, looking like a life-claiming Rakshasa.

”Ahhh—”

People who dealt in these things surprisingly believed in these supernatural elements. When he saw Xiao He, aura fully unleashed, Wensa wet his pants on the spot, not daring to move an inch.

”Where were you transporting these people from? How many people are there in total? How many are on the ship now? How many more people will be coming aboard?”

Xiao He began his interrogation.

Terrified out of his wits, Wensa shook like a sieve. Before Xiao He had even begun to use hypnosis, he had already spilled everything he knew, point by point.

And the more he revealed, the darker Xiao Heʼs expression became.

Finally, after confirming that Wensa had told him everything he knew, Xiao He decisively stopped the recording on the voice recorder in his hand.

—This pen was kindly provided by Tong Junhui.

It is said that he went to a lot of trouble to bring this item on board this time.

One can only say that, as expected of someone who has become a professional journalist, he is quite skilled at bringing these things along.

However, Xiao Heʼs mood did not improve.

Because the thing he least wanted to happen had occurred.

The group of people currently on the Cruise Ship was indeed not everyone brought from that other vessel.

According to Wensa, there was another batch of ”cargo” on their small freighter.

And these were all the people they had brought this time.

This business on the Cruise Ship was a big deal for them, so they attached great importance to it. They specifically found a small freighter to follow them the entire way and even went so far as to bring out all their current stock, just hoping to make a big score in one go.

He could still forcefully rescue the people on the Cruise Ship, but if the people on the freighter were alerted and allowed to escape, it would be truly difficult to save them.

Thus, in just one second, Xiao He made a crazy decision—
