Global Wasteland: I Unboxed Top Vaults (The World Is A Wasteland: I Obtained A Top Tier Shelter)

Chapter 59： Hunters are never air force!
A gust of wind blew up the sparse grass in the wasteland.

Lin Yue and Xiaobai were hiding in a mass of tall weeds at this time, waiting for the tiger-spotted shadow deer to approach a few dozen meters away.

They had been squatting here before, and after waiting for nearly half an hour, the tiger-spotted shadow deer gradually approached from a few hundred meters away.

The tabby shadow deer seemed to have been chasing a big grasshopper in the opposite direction all the time, and didn’t care about Lin Yue’s approach. What’s more, Lin Yue was almost covered in weeds this time, and arrived here at the fastest speed. There was an ambush for a while.

I have to say that for the first time hunting with a crossbow, Lin Yue also strived for the word ”stable”.

Otherwise, he could show up to provoke the tiger-spotted shadow deer first, and then use the crossbow to solve it when he pounces.

But he did not guarantee how much the crossbow in his hand would have before the monster fell on him.

If you get hurt or something, it’s all for nothing.

He used the automatic winder to wind the crossbow, and after adjusting his breath, he cut through the grass and aimed the sight at the prey in the gap.

The iron spear is by his side, and the shield and wooden armor are naturally equipped.

With the word ”steady”, Lin Yue first saw the door.

”Pfft...” Xiaobai didn’t know what his master was doing at all. After seeing Lin Yue brought out a strange thing, he thought he would go hunting directly.

When he saw the shadow of the tiger-spotted shadow deer, Xiaobai wanted to rush up to let Lin Yue see how strong it is now, but was stopped by Lin Yue.

It also didn’t understand why the master kept mumbling to himself while shooting a lot of arrows at a wooden board with that strange thing before he set off.

”There’s still about... 30 meters. This crossbow arrow will not be too outrageous within a range of 25 meters. In the case of a downwind, it will also deviate to the lower right...”

While Lin Yue adjusted the scope, he waited for the tiger-spotted shadow deer to approach, and calculated the influence of wind, direction and angle on the trajectory.

Before starting in this direction, he had practiced at the shelter thirty or forty times, and had a very intuitive understanding of the power of this steel repeating crossbow.

A plank nearly ten centimeters thick can easily be penetrated by this crossbow within twenty meters!

However, Lin Yue also discovered that this crossbow arrow may not have tail feathers. Although it is extremely powerful, there will still be a certain amount of deviation in the sight.

He was constantly debugging, constantly modifying the angle of his hand raising, familiarizing himself with the design feeling, and using the scope to correct the sight deviation.

After living in this apocalypse for ten days, even if Lin Yue encounters such a complicated matter, he can be patient and slowly let himself adapt and solve it.

What’s more, he has a natural intimacy with this crossbow arrow. Although he doesn’t know where it came from, as the crossbow arrow is shot again and again, his sense of accomplishment is constantly improving!

But this steel repeater isn’t perfect.

At that time in the secret realm, the reason why Curran could hit those gray monsters five times in a row was because he was close enough and the monsters were big enough.

Five crossbow arrows are ready, but at such a close distance, it is impossible for him to rewind the crossbow after shooting the first shot.

If the material for the tail feathers can be found...

Lin Yue suddenly thought of a source, but if you want to get that thing, you must do this step first!

”Okay, there are still thirty meters... It seems to have seen this piece of meat and came over!”

Lin Yue had previously placed a piece of raw mutton at a distance of about 20 meters. Although some small bugs were attracted, it was still quite attractive to the tiger-spotted shadow deer.

”Ouch...” The tiger-spotted shadow deer saw the piece of raw meat, and it began to alert its surroundings. At the same time, it was also attracted by the smell of the barbecue, and kept approaching.

Twenty-nine meters, twenty-eight meters... twenty-four meters!

It came within attack range where it wouldn’t stray too far, but not close enough.

Lin Yue waited patiently, and Xiao Bai also held his breath beside him obediently.

The arrows of the metal crossbow bolts were covered by the grass, and the reflection was blocked, and in the scope, Lin Yue was constantly aiming at the angle.

Although the crossbow arrow is sharp, it is still difficult to break the skull of this large animal, but the soft abdomen heart part, or the slender neck is too easy.

Tabby Shadow Deer approached the piece of meat step by step, as if his vigilance became heavier.

Moreover, its nose keeps twitching, and its head keeps twisting to observe the four directions...

Did you smell it?

Lin Yue knew that he seemed to underestimate the power of mutant creatures, especially the power of the mutant creatures that he had knocked down several times.

But at this moment, the worst case is that it is impossible to attack with this steel repeating crossbow.

He also has an excellent iron spear, and Xiaobai who is always full of breath and wants to fight!

”Ouch...” The deer head finally stopped, and those weird eyes also looked at the wild grass hidden by Lin Yue!

It’s still found!

at this time!

The crossbow string vibrated violently, and a ray of light shot out from the grass in an instant with a gust of wind and thunder!

puff!

”Ooooooooo!”

The crossbow arrow sank into the tabby shadow deer’s upper abdomen, passed through its back, and even drilled halfway out of the back obliquely!

However, the second and third crossbow arrows came one after another, piercing the right eye and throat of the severely injured Tabby Shadow Deer!

While it is sick, kill it!

The extremely cold air enveloped it, and it also covered its hair with a layer of frost!

The Tabby Shadow Deer, who seemed to want to struggle just now, was instantly frozen.

Finally, a cold light flashed, and the iron spear was like a silver dragon, piercing from its neck!

Blood splattered everywhere!

【You got the silver treasure chest】

Lin Yue took a breath and looked around. After there was no mutant creature, he picked up the steel crossbow on the ground and fell into deep thought.

To tell the truth, the power of the steel crossbow is indeed great.

It can even penetrate the hard fur of a tabby shadow deer, penetrating from its belly to its back.

But the shortcomings are still quite obvious.

At close range, it is impossible to kill this large mutant creature in one hit!

In the end, the tiger-spotted shadow deer was killed by using the iron spear to make up the knife.

I originally thought that this was a piece of equipment that could improve combat effectiveness in a straight line, but in the case of close distances, it seems that this is not the case.

It seems to be more suitable for long-distance attacks. While maintaining the distance from the opponent, keep the crossbow string, and then continue to strike.

At least, that seems to be the case against this large tabby shadow deer.

Lin Yue put the body of the tiger-spotted shadow deer into the storage space.

This is not its best burial place.

In order to lure more scavengers, it is necessary for him to place them outside the walls of the sanctuary, so that their residual value can be maximized.

”Pfft!” At this moment, Xiaobai spotted a menacing mutant sheep 100 meters away, and alerted Lin Yue.

Lin Yue took a deep breath and decided to give this steel repeater another chance.

He calmly re-straightened the crossbow string, and laid a trap beside him at the fastest speed, and this time he also chose to squat down and fixed his shooting position.

Xiaobai was ready to breathe out ice mist, just in case.

The mutant sheep rushed to within 20 meters, and with a bang of the crossbow string, the crossbow arrows shot at the same time!

It was hit by an arrow in its right eye and slammed to the ground with an indescribable scream. It just fell into the trap in front of Lin Yue. This time, it couldn’t stand up at all.

When Lin Yue walked in front of it, another arrow hit the heart accurately, and the system sounded a notification sound.

【You got the copper treasure chest】

The first arrow was clearly aimed at the abdomen.

He looked into the distance, the ancient gate of the secret realm entwined with vines.

In order to make the steel repeater release the best power, he must find something to use as the tail feather of the crossbow.

…

Sorry, something was delayed at noon, and in the afternoon... Shouldn’t it be too late?
