Technological Empire Starts From Shanzhai System

Chapter 523: Chaoshen unmanned electric truck
”No transition, since Mr. Bian Zhaohe raised the question, let me talk about how Hantang Technology solves the problem of sudden interruption of computing power during lease.

First of all, I just said that among our cloud computing rental computing power groups, there are individual computing power renters and operators who specialize in purchasing a large number of computers for computing power rental.

Among them, personal computing power lessors, their electricity and personal computers cannot be kept 100% stable due to the cost of dry cleaning.

As operators of large-scale leasing of computing power, they must be prepared for sudden power outages if they want to get good reviews.

So the first step of our solution is to give priority to using the computing power rented out by large-scale computing power operators when purchasing computing power for electric vehicles. ”

Speaking of this, Lin Xuan paused for a moment, and then continued amidst people nodding:

“Of course, there are not many operators who specialize in large-scale computing power leasing, but I believe that with the implementation of autonomous driving technology, there will be demand for computing power.

Soon more and more operators will buy Hantang computers for computing power rental, and Hantang Technology will also launch special computing power rental equipment accessories at that time. ”

Hearing this, tens of thousands of guests at the scene couldn’t help applauding Lin Xuan’s method.

It has to be said that Lin Xuan’s strategy first solved the problem of unstable computing power of cloud computing technology from the root.

After all, the computers of those operators will certainly not have an unstable supply of computing power like ordinary people, and they will also provide backup power for stability.

At this time, Lin Xuan did not stop his words, only to see him continue to say amidst the gentle nods of the people:

”With a stable source of cloud computing, the next step is to solve the problem that Mr. Watanabe Showa said in case the computing power is suddenly interrupted. As for how to solve this aspect.

Then let me talk about the fatal point that Mr. Watanabe Showa just ignored in the question, which is the computing power that our electric vehicles themselves have! ”

Speaking of this, the computer mainframe of Hantang Motors appeared on the projection screen behind Lin Xuan.

The computer host of this Hantang car is located in the motor compartment, which is very tightly protected.

The computer mainframe of this Hantang Automobile is half the size of the mainframe chassis in light appearance, and it can be seen that its performance should be very strong.

At this time, Lin Xuan slowly revealed the answer to the mystery in people’s curious eyes:

“If the autonomous driving technology of our Hantang electric vehicle wants to achieve L4 autonomous driving, it must have a huge computing power, which can be borrowed from outside or supplied internally.

And if our Hantang electric car wants to avoid the sudden stop of the car or the sudden interruption of computing power, it needs the electric car itself to have a huge computing power.

But pure computing power is not enough to meet the needs of autonomous driving technology, and the efficiency is too low, requiring a second conversion.

So the chips on our electric vehicles are dedicated to self-driving chips, chips that use many self-driving algorithms, and there are a total of 3 such self-driving chips.

The computing power of each self-driving chip is as high as 1526TOPS, and such chips form a computing array.

Finally, even if we don’t borrow computing power for our autonomous driving, we can still achieve L3 autonomous driving technology! ”

People seemed to understand what Lin Xuan said, and they didn’t know what it meant. As for the TOPS value of the self-driving chip computing power that Lin Xuan said, they were even more confused at this time.

However, if they know that the world’s most powerful autopilot chip in 2022, that is, when Invidia’s high-end autopilot chip has a computing power of only 1016TOPS, then they will know how powerful Hantang Technology’s autopilot chip is.

Of course, if they knew that TOPS in 1016TOPS means trillion operations, then they would probably look horrified!

What is the concept of trillion operations?

In the history of the original world in 2009, the regular computing speed of the Tianhe-1 supercomputer was only 2566 trillion operations, and the short-term peak was only 4700 trillion operations.

And the most powerful self-driving chip in 2022, the computing power of Weida’s self-driving chip can be as high as 1016 trillion operations (TOPS).

This is equivalent to the computing power of the chip, which is equivalent to half of the computing power of half of the Tianhe-1 supercomputer’s continuous computing power!

So through comparison, we can know how powerful the self-driving chip developed and manufactured by Hantang Technology is!

The most frightening thing is that an electric car has three chips of this level to form a computing system. This computing power is already equivalent to the sum of the computing power of one or two Tianhe-1 supercomputers!

With the support of such a huge supply of computing power, if the automatic driving technology can not reach the L3 level, then Lin Xuan of Hantang Technology and a group of scientific researchers will really have nothing to do.

But ordinary people don’t know what 1526TOPS computing power represents, but those bosses who are interested in developing self-driving cars, such as Watanabe Showa, know it deeply.

So at this time, when he heard that the self-driving technology of the Hantang electric truck can reach the L3 level even without cloud computing support, his face was very gloomy.

Because the biggest difference between L3 and L4 is that L4 can handle much more road surfaces and complex situations than L3.

So L3 level can only be used on regular roads, and cannot be used in special environments and complex road surfaces.

But no matter which technical level, this is a supernatural existence for the L2 level that Fengtian Motor is developing!

So at this time, Watanabe Showa’s face was very gloomy, but Lin Xuan didn’t stop his words, and saw him introducing many technologies on Han and Tang trucks.

”Our Hantang electric truck has two lidars, 8 millimeter-wave radars, 14 ultrasonic radars, 40 sensors, a high-precision zenith satellite positioning module, five high-definition cameras...

These things are combined to form a 360-degree omni-directional how the Hantang electric truck perceives the network!

It is because of these sensors that the host computer of our Hantang truck can firmly control the external situation, and finally complete the automatic driving of the car!

”Papa papa papa papa papa...”

Hearing Lin Xuan’s words, there was warm applause at the scene. Although people didn’t know what Lin Xuan said represented?

But they saw the sensor layout of the truck displayed on the large projection screen, and then saw the densely packed sensors.

They know that such a truck has so many sensors, it must be safe and there is no need to worry about problems.

Lin Xuan did not stop introducing the technology of automatic driving, and quickly finished introducing the relevant news of automatic driving in a few minutes.

Soon after the introduction of the L4 automatic driving of the electric truck was completed, and then when Lin Xuan changed the topic and introduced other things, people showed dumbfounded expressions again.
