Technological Empire Starts From Shanzhai System

Chapter 515: Self-driving technology?
…

On the other side, after the applause stopped, Jobs slowly introduced the selling points of Pingguo electric vehicles.

“First of all, our Pingguo Elf 1 electric vehicle has the world’s top Pingguo T1 electric motor.

The T1 electric motor has a maximum power of 350kw and can provide a maximum torque of 670Nm, which allows our Pingguo Elf 1 car to accelerate to 100 kilometers in 4.7 seconds! ”

Hearing Jobs’ words, tens of millions of viewers at the scene and even in the live broadcast room were disappointed.

They thought that the Pingguo Elf 1 electric car used the form of two front and rear motors, but they did not think of the form of only one motor.

Although the performance of a single motor surpasses that of a Tesla car, how can one win two.

And at this time, the Pingguo electric car’s acceleration from 100 kilometers to 100 kilometers is only 4.7 seconds, which can be seen in terms of power.

The Pingguo Elf 1 electric car is indeed inferior to the Tesla electric car. How can people not be disappointed in this situation.

But at this time, Jobs also knew that his electric car could not beat Tesla in terms of power, so he said slowly at this time:

“It seems silly to me for a company to have two electric motors in an electric car.

Because I have always firmly believed that the most concise and practical is the best, so we Pingguo Automobile has the strength to develop electric vehicles in the form of two motors.

But this is meaningless, because the extra weight brought by adding a motor and the battery weight that must be added will not be mentioned first.

It doesn’t make much sense to increase the acceleration from 100 kilometers per second or so, because our consumers can’t use this gap at all.

It is only the world’s top racers who can use a slight gap to turn defeat into victory and make all kinds of amazing results.

So in my opinion, it is a stupid behavior to spend a huge amount of money to simply pursue the most powerful power and the performance improvement at that second. ”

Hearing what Pingguo Jobs said, people couldn’t help but nodded slightly.

Facts are indeed as Jobs said, the power needs to reach a certain level. In order to increase the power in pursuit of a speed increase of 100 kilometers per second, the final cost increase is indeed not worth the candle.

”So I, Pingguo Company, think that the power is enough. As for whether the power of our Pingguo Automobile is enough, let’s talk about it in actual combat.”

Following the words of Jobs, the president of Pingguo Company, a short video appeared on the deep projection screen.

Soon after people saw the results of the Pingguo electric car through the short video, they no longer worried about the power of the Pingguo electric car.

Because the Pingguo electric car in the video is very powerful, the car is obviously full of 6 people.

As a result, there is no pressure at the top speed of 155 kilometers on the German-Italian Highway with no speed limit.

Especially when people see Pingguo cars speeding past fast or slow cars on the highway.

After showing the drag racing scene that can only be shown in movies, people are no longer confused about whether the power of Pingguo electric car is enough.

In this regard, Jobs listened to the exclamation around him, a faint smile appeared on the corner of his mouth, and then he said slowly:

”At this point, some people may be wondering, since we have saved an electric motor and related battery configuration, where do we put the saved money?”

While Jobs was speaking, a text that shocked the audience appeared on the projection screen behind him.

”Autopilot system!”

”Autopilot system?!”

There was a sound of exclamation at the scene, and the boss in the eyes of the people at this time was full of disbelief.

Because the autopilot system is a legendary concept, something that can only be done in science fiction movies, but I didn’t expect it to actually appear in reality!

Regarding this, the CEOs of global electric vehicle manufacturers all looked very ugly at this time.

I didn’t expect Pingguo Company to conquer the autonomous driving technology. This is not good news.

But think of Pingguo Company, although they make mobile phones, tablet computers and desktop computers.

But no matter which of the above products, Pingguo Company designs and manufactures chips and systems by itself.

So if you ask which company in the world can launch fully automatic driving technology at this time, Pingguo Company is definitely the one with the highest probability of success!

”That’s right, it’s the autonomous driving technology!

Next, let’s take a look at the promotional video. ”

When Jobs finished speaking, the large projection screen behind him and the live broadcast room jumped to the promotional video of the Pingguo electric vehicle self-driving.

First of all, the family took a pile of luggage and put it in the Pingguo car. It seemed that they were going to travel far.

Then followed the male owner to sit in the driving seat, input text on the 14-inch central control screen in the middle through the input method, and finally selected a hotel.

At this time, as the navigation target was determined, the male owner also slowly drove the car all the way from the villa where he lived, and finally came to the suburban road from the villa path.

Then while driving, the perspective came to the inside of the car, and the male owner also slowly clicked the automatic driving button on the steering wheel.

Soon, when the smart butler named Siri asked, the male host pressed the ”Confirm” button again.

The eyes of the audience at the live press conference and the netizens who were watching the live broadcast were all wide open.

Because they found that the host had slowly let go of the steering wheel!

At this time, the steering wheel was actually moving by itself, and the male host didn’t intervene in any way.

Soon the video played and accelerated again, and the car drove all the way to the place set on the map while people were stunned.

During the whole process, except for special circumstances, such as after coming to the hotel, because the surrounding environment is too complicated and there are too many pedestrians on the road, the owner needs to manually control the vehicle.

During the whole driving process, the owner of the car was so relaxed that he didn’t do anything, and the car automatically drove him to the hotel located on the map!

Seeing this situation, how can people’s eyes not be wide open, how can they not be shocked and at the same time have fanaticism in their eyes.

At this time, the corner of Jobs’s mouth curled into a smug smile, and he smiled and said amidst people’s dumbfounded:

”As you can see, our Pingguo Elf 1 electric vehicle has achieved L2 level autonomous driving technology.”

Hearing the L2-level autonomous driving technology that Jobs said, people’s eyes flashed with confusion. They don’t know what the so-called L2-level automatic driving technology means?

Seeing this, Jobs slowly explained what L2 autonomous driving technology is:

“Autonomous driving technology is mainly divided into five levels according to the levels classified by the Society of Automotive Engineers.

First of all, it is L0 level, L0 level is purely manual driving, mainly referring to those vehicles without any electronic assistance systems.

Followed by L1 level, L1 level is the auxiliary system that assists the driver to drive the car. Currently, almost all cars on the market have L1 level automatic driving technology.
