The richest man starts with black technology

Chapter 427
(I was hospitalized for the past two days. I was very sick last night. I forced myself to write 4000 words. Finally, I didn’t correct the wrong words because of lack of energy, which affected the reading experience. I’m really sorry. As a result, I just saw that 4000 words were blocked yesterday, ha ha. Today, I just received total anesthesia for the operation. I recovered in the evening and didn’t eat. This chapter proves that I have insisted on writing 4000 words. I can’t hold it anymore. Good night.)

Mo Li directly told everyone about the performance of Kunlun biochip. The floating-point operation capacity of 10 billion times is indeed the best of all Intel chips so far.

How strong is the Kunlun chip capability of Yuanyuan group? Of course, not necessarily. The computing power of the biochip announced by Mo Li is still inferior to that of the supercomputer of the American Supercomputing Center.

But you should know that the most advanced chip of the origin group has not been taken out at all. Now it is just squeezing toothpaste.

However, if this chip is used for commercial use, it is fully sufficient and can also enhance the global electronic information industry by several orders of magnitude.

Apple headquarters in California, USA.

The technicians of the chip department also said to KUKA: ”the concept of biochip is indeed very strange, which is unprecedented in the whole chip industry, but its budget speed can only be said to be in line.”

What technicians say is not suitable for traditional commercial chips, but compared with supercomputing computer chips in the United States.

Technicians said to KUKA: ”the volume of biochip should be very large. In the future, the chip technology should be used in the Supercomputing Center or computer center of Xia state. The probability of using the chip in mobile phones or other mobile devices is low.”

This is a more optimistic estimate by chip technicians.

They still can’t believe that Qiyuan group will use just a few years to develop chips with very small volume and extremely fast operation speed.

Floating point operation has reached 10 billion per second, which is not a simple number. It represents the highly developed chip industry.

The size of such a fast computing chip should not be small.

Even with jet lag, KUKA still watched the live broadcast of the new film release conference of origin group in his office.

He can only pray that the biochip is relatively large and can only be used in large servers or computer centers, not in Mobile PCs and mobile phones.

KUKA said to himself, ”I didn’t expect Qiyuan group to develop the chip in such a short time. If the chip can be applied to tassel mobile phones, it will pose a serious threat to Apple’s products.”

Like engineers, KUKA’s current idea is to pray that biochips are too large to be applied to small mobile devices.

Intel headquarters.

The chip engineers who had no knowledge of the new press conference of the origin group also got up from bed after getting the media report. The engineers watched the live report from Xia Guo on their mobile phone or TV.

Both Intel and Qualcomm have had a difficult time.

Because the smart glasses developed by apple are not only aimed at the mobile phone industry, but also personal PCs.

Apple has shouted the slogan that smart glasses will replace mobile phones, tablets and PCs as the only access between users and the Internet world.

Under this pressure, the growth rate of Intel and Qualcomm in the next five years is not optimistic.

After you sing, I’ll come on stage.

If the origin group also makes some immortal chips, Intel and Qualcomm will be dealt another fatal blow.

Intel can also perform 10 billion floating-point operations, but its size will not be as large as that of conventional commercial chips, but much larger.

So what is the size of the Kunlun chip of the origin group?

Mo Li asked the staff to take the sample of Kunlun chip.

The sample is in Mo Li’s hand. The camera and the audience can’t see it at all, because its volume is too small.

A reporter began to make complaints about it.

”What did the staff just bring up? Could it be a chip? ”

The reason why the reporter asked this question is that he already had an inherent impression of the chip in his mind.

We’ve all seen what a traditional computer chip looks like. It’s about one-third to one-quarter the size of a palm, and there’s a foot pin.

The chip size of mobile phone may be less, but the construction principle is similar to that of computer chip.

But the volume of Kunlun chip is so small that the camera almost pestles the lens in front of Mo Li.

But the reporters in the distance didn’t see anything on Mo Li’s hand at all.

Mo Li smiled at the cameras of the reporters and spread out his palms.

The camera was close enough to see a small object in the middle of another palm.

However, because it is difficult for the camera lens to shoot macro, Molly also specially asked the staff to bring equipment that can be enlarged.

At that time, the live picture showed the chip in Mo Li’s hand.

The size of the chip is very small. It may not be the size of a fifth of a little thumb nail.

The size of the chip made the audience who were watching the live broadcast scream.

The chip is too small, such a small chip. It can be used not only on PC, but also on mobile phones and wearable devices.

Mo Li’s display of the chip also shattered the last bit of fantasy of American scientists and technicians.

KUKA, who is watching the live broadcast, compares Kunlun chip with the chip produced by Samsung for apple and finds that Qiyuan group’s difficult chip budget is much faster and smaller than the chip carried by Apple’s smart glasses.

If this chip can be applied to wearable devices, it will definitely greatly improve the performance of wearable devices.

KUKA swallowed his saliva. Some couldn’t believe that Xia’s chip technology would progress so rapidly.

At this time, some chip engineers and technicians in KUKA’s office were already stunned.

From a professional point of view, such a small chip is absolutely impossible to have more than 10 billion floating-point operations per second.

They are very suspicious that the news conference of origin group is just a gimmick.

”Ten billion times per second, such a fast floating-point operation ability, but only such a small volume, I think it is impossible! Will this technology conference be fake? ”

The engineer said: ”we do not rule out that the original group has indeed developed chips with super performance, but chips can never be as popular as ordinary chips! Or the chip of the origin group is a big guy. The products brought out at this press conference are just deceptive. ”

The engineer added, ”anyway, it’s just about performance. It’s not really going to be on the market, and no one will buy this kind of chip.”

In fact, when saying this, the engineers were still a little scared, because the sharp fluctuations in the bitcoin market were just a few days ago. At the press conference, the origin group almost admitted that the reason for the sharp fluctuations in the bitcoin price was Kunlun biochip.

At the press conference, the audience was also shocked by such a small chip.

In fact, the people of Xia do not have high requirements for national technology companies. As long as you can develop and produce chips with mainstream performance, you don’t have much requirements for the energy consumption and volume of your chips.

Look, this is the loveliness of ordinary people in Xia.

The origin group perfectly realized the most perfect assumption of ordinary people on Xia’s domestic chips.

Maybe the new product is not only small, but also runs fast.

What are you dissatisfied with such a strong performance?

Jiang Dong’s fist clenched at this time.

In fact, he was very excited.

The performance of the biochip of the origin group has far exceeded his imagination.

The floating-point operation speed per second has reached 10 billion times. What is this concept?

This means that Warwick’s retail mobile phones can be improved by several levels.

If the Warwick tassel mobile phone adopts the Kunlun biochip of the origin group, the performance of the mobile phone can be comparable to that of the service machine level.

How big is the server? You have to occupy at least a corner of a room. You just need to carry your mobile phone in your pocket.

More surprising things are still ahead.

Mo Li looked at the audience and the media reporters.

”In fact, the size of the chip is smaller than you can see. A protective shell is added outside the chip, which can ensure that the chip can be used in high temperature, extreme cold or bumpy conditions. ”

When Mo Li finished this sentence, the whole audience was not calm.

”What, I heard right. The volume of the chip is smaller than what we saw!”

”We see the chip now, but there is a protective shell outside?”

”Is this to maximize the performance of the chip?”

Mo Li continued: ”the essence of biochip is DNA molecules. There are enough DNA molecules in a very small volume. The amount of computation that these DNA molecules can exist far exceeds the amount of computation that the crystal can bear. Therefore, we can make the volume of the chip small enough without changing the influence speed of the chip.”

Some of the audience couldn’t sit still.

Someone asked loudly, ”can we test the performance of the chip on the spot?”

Some people even said directly, ”can we use over budget biochips for mining? For example, dig out the rest of bitcoin! ”

This proposal has won the approval of many people.

”Yes, can you dig out all the remaining bitcoins?”

”Since the algorithm is so strong, can it directly break through the password barrier of some security companies?”

Facing these suggestions from the audience, Mo Li smiled.

At this press conference, Zhou Xiao, the boss, has authorized him to do anything with biochips, provided that these things are not illegal.

It is definitely illegal to use Kunlun biochip to break the password barrier of some security organizations.

But if biochips are used to solve some difficult mathematical problems, or to mine bitcoin, it is certainly not illegal.

Mo Li said: ”as we all know, the latest technology products released by the origin group must face users and the market.”

”Similarly, our Kunlun chip is also facing the market. Our biochip has two interfaces. One is that it can match most of the computer and mobile phone mainboards on the market. This matching method sacrifices some performance of the biochip and is restricted by the performance of the mainboard.”

”The other is that the biochip is directly matched with the biological skills motherboard developed by the origin group. The size of the biological intelligence motherboard is very small and will integrate our biochip and our DNA storage.”

”Since you want to watch the performance test of biochip on site, the best way is to assemble our biochip and DNA storage on our biological motherboard.”

Mo Li waved and several assistants under the stage came up.

These helpers hold DNA storage devices and biological motherboards developed by the origin group.

With the joint efforts of several assistants, the Kunlun biochip in Mo Li’s hand was installed on the motherboard.

At the same time, the motherboard is also connected to the large screen on the scene.

After clicking start, a familiar interface appears on the large screen, which is the interface of singularity OS.

Xiaoyuan, a very successful intelligent assistant for optimization, stood up.

Mo Li said to Xiaoyuan, ”Xiaoyuan can now download the components related to mining bitcoin. Let’s test it.”

Xiaoyuan said, ”good master!”

Mo Li still said to the audience: ”the effect of mining bitcoin with chips with 10 billion floating-point operations per second is certainly not as good as what we have seen before, because one is a chipset and the other is a single chip.”

Everyone knows what Mo Li said.

Mo Li added, ”but a single chip can also show you something different from ordinary chips or graphics cards. Our biochip can not only do more complex operations, but also do repeated and simple operations at the fastest speed. To put it more bluntly, biochip is the combination of CPU and GPU, which is why biochip can be regarded as a mining machine. ”

Some data appeared on the big screen.

The first data is the bitcoin balance in the bitcoin account of the device, and the balance is zero.

The second data is the efficiency of traditional mining, which uses a combination of professional mining machines to dig bitcoin

According to the current bitcoin mining speed, a large mine may only dig one or two bitcoins a year.

So now the test begins.

Xiaoyuan controls the mining machine to start operation.

The live reporters excitedly said to the camera: ”audience friends, the most exciting place is coming! Origin group will demonstrate the use of biochips to dig bitcoin on site. As we all know, because the algorithm of bitcoin is simple but repeated, most mining machines use graphics cards rather than CPUs. In addition, most bitcoins have been excavated, and the later bitcoins will be very difficult to dig, which brings difficulty to this test! We’ll see! ”

All netizens watching the live broadcast and the audience were breathless.

Here comes the miracle! Just less than a minute later, the complete number 1 was displayed on the bitcoin account!

The scene was full of exclamation!
