The richest man starts with black technology

Chapter 199
(after three chapters, he collapsed and is trying to lift the ban. As mentioned above, Zhou Xiao officially put forward the domestic system plan to Warwick.)

Get the mobile operating system out of Android?

Warwick thought about this when he just used the Android system.

If operating system has the final say, many things will be done well, how to develop mobile phone and how to develop software and ecosystem.

It’s easy to say but difficult to do.

In addition to technology, ecosystems are also very important.

Many technology companies in Xiaguo have tried to make their own systems.

From the beginning of Kirin and red flag to the later Alibaba IOS, the attempts of domestic operating system can be described as one after another.

Among these operating systems, there are PC versions and mobile terminals. Most operating systems are developed based on Linux.

From the heart, it is difficult to develop the first domestic operating system based on Linux, but it is not as difficult as expected.

This is also the reason why the domestic operating system was born ten years ago.

The most difficult part of the operating system is ecology, which is the application in ecology.

The operating system is only a platform, and what users want to use is the application in the platform after all.

No matter how good your system is, it does not support many applications, the number of application users is not large, and the system is not successful.

System, application and user are the ecosystem of the system.

A system without an ecosystem is not called a system.

The initial Kirin operating system is quite successful, and some units are also applying it.

When Kirin was introduced to the market, it died miserably.

Because it is no better than Microsoft’s win system, Kirin has been imitating Microsoft rather than creative content in the process of creating its own ecological chain.

It’s hard for you to imitate others, let alone surpass others.

Finally, Kirin basically died in the mass market, and only some special departments and units were using it.

Later, Ali IOS learned to be smart. It knew to create its own ecology.

Therefore, Alibaba IOS does not simply imitate win, Android and apple IOS, but has its own set.

Ali applies its IOS to its products, such as TV, set-top box, artificial intelligence home, etc. its products carry its own operating system.

This approach has made Alibaba IOS successful to some extent, but it still cannot replace Android.

For technical reasons, Alibaba IOS has not been able to smoothly load applications commonly used by users on its own platform.

Of course, there is another very important reason. When the operating system market is very saturated, even if you make an operating system comparable to Android, you will die in the market, because Android already has a complete ecological chain, and your ecological chain needs to be rebuilt.

For these reasons, even powerful technology companies only carry their own systems on their own products, and never want to challenge the status of Android or win.

Because it’s so hard!

Where’s Warwick?

Warwick’s Hongmeng has the same meaning as Ali IOS to a certain extent. It can be applied to other smart devices other than mobile phones, but it’s enough to use it on mobile phones or PC terminals.

Warwick also has plans for its own Hongmeng operating system. The premise of this plan is that it can be applied to mobile phones first, then talk about whether it can catch up with Android, and finally surpass the large-scale application of Android.

Only through personal experience can we know the difficulty of doing it.

No matter how much the news talks about Hongmeng, only Warwick knows that doing Hongmeng now is actually losing money and buying more. If you are not strong enough to burn money, who has nothing to do with a thankless operating system?

If you don’t believe it, ask the blue factory or the green factory. If the strategy engineer of their company suggests that the company develop its own operating system, the boss will think you’re crazy!

After hearing Zhou Xiao’s words, Yu Jiangdong sighed: ”this is a very difficult process. It is very likely that after we have developed the system, the enterprise has been overwhelmed and eliminated. Although Hongmeng is doing this, the road is very tortuous. ”

Even if Hongmeng succeeds, it is at most the replacement and optimization of Android. It is still difficult to completely replace the Android Market.

Zhou Xiao said: ”in fact, whether it’s a small source voice assistant or a Huawei mobile phone that has been disabled by Guge or GMS, the most fundamental problem is that the core thing is not in our hands.”

Yu Jiangdong nodded and said, ”after all, the Internet era is an era opened by the United States. Although Xia’s technology companies are catching up, they are still a few steps late.”

”The rules were still formulated by American technology companies, and most of the subsequent Xiaguo technology companies went to develop the application of the system and did not develop the most basic technology products.”

”In fact, we should not belittle ourselves.” Zhou Xiao said, ”compared with the United States, the best of Xia is application.”

”Take the mobile terminal system as an example. Although Android and IOS are American, a large number of excellent applications in Xia make these systems excellent.”

”Whether it’s our shopping app, social app or short video app, they are far better than American companies in quality and reputation.”

Zhou Xiao has absolute confidence in Xia Guo’s Internet technology. He said: ”an American user once told me that after he used microblog and wechat, used our shaking voice and fast feet, and used our TM and JD, he no longer wants to use American Facebook, twitter, tubing and Amazon.”

Zhou Xiao continued: ”Xia Guodi’s application is excellent because we have a large population and a large number of application scenarios. This is a natural experimental platform. This advantage is not available in any country in the world.”

”We have excellent applications, but we lack an excellent platform. We need such a platform to integrate all applications and create our own operating system and ecological chain. ”

Zhou Xiao talked freely and said: ”the purpose of creating the operating system is not to go abroad, not to meet the use needs of overseas users, but to make Xiaguo Internet technology company have a survival platform and Xiaguo users have a safe Internet platform, which is not restricted by the West.”

Yu Jiangdong kept nodding. Zhou Xiao came to the point, and what Zhou Xiao thinks now is actually what Yu Jiangdong thought at the beginning.

Zhou Xiao’s last words surprised Yu Jiangdong and felt that he saw hope.

Zhou Xiao said, ”why don’t I call Xiaoyuan? Can the voice assistant be applied in Europe? Because the original intention of small source voice assistant is to serve Xia users. At present, the source code company has created our own operating system according to the small source voice assistant and most applications of Xia Guo. At present, the system is waiting for testing. ”
