The Age of Giant Ships and Cannons

Chapter 75： Build a Black Hawk-class frigate
Chapter 75 Building the Black Hawk-class frigate

Forty minutes later, the defense cover of the base was penetrated by concentrated fire.

The defenders who were exposed to the guns again lasted for less than a quarter of an hour before abandoning the base and retreating.

Li Qing didn’t speak, Li Yuan led the fleet to catch up immediately.

Advance, retreat, advance again, retreat again, advance again, keep chasing, the battlefield stretching tens of millions of kilometers is full of wreckage of warships.

When the last enemy battleship was sunk, everyone cheered in the channel, and a large number of frigates stepped forward to clean up the battlefield.

In the channel, Wang Yanqing raised his hand and pointed:

”I am convinced.”

”No one can do anything to you until you are encircled by more than ten times the force and your room for movement is completely suppressed. It is too strong.”

Li Qing smiled slightly.

In just two battles, one was a frontal battle and the other was a kite tactic, Li Yuan, Servant of Light, had completely conquered them with his abilities.

Ding Youran, Yan Chengping, Yan Yan and others did not speak, but their expressions were the same as Wang Yanqing’s, and they were all convinced.

Especially Ding Youran, this tall beauty looked at her a little differently than usual.

After cleaning the battlefield all the way, two battleship blueprints were released for nearly forty battleships, but there were eleven particle light spear blueprints, and more than thirty blueprints for other large and small battleships.

As before, the loot is temporarily kept by him.

Then returned to the mining base, and found that more than a hundred frigates gathered around, probably the returned mine protection patrol fleet.

After a wave of crushing, the entire mining base was blown up, and countless wreckage and blasted mine **** floated in the void.

This mining base is extremely large, and there are hundreds of huge mineral **** accumulated in it, which are the same as the mineral **** in the wild monster mining base, but the specifications are more than ten times larger.

Use the Palm Universe to collect all these mineral balls, and the opened entrance is above the material conversion furnace in the Light Foundry. After the mineral **** are collected into the Palm Universe, they will appear directly above the Light Foundry Furnace, and fall directly into the furnace like a black hole .

Through the transformation of the material conversion furnace, pieces of standard cube high-purity steel blocks with a length, width and height of 100 meters are extracted.

The super material conversion furnace refines all other impurities into energy, and the rest is high-purity refined ore. After refining, all the messy associated ores are converted into steel.

Although steel is not the most valuable metal, it is the metal with the highest demand, and the main material of the alloy with the highest demand for building warships is steel.

Moreover, the value of high-purity steel is not low. Some of the various chaotic gray spar and limestone are refined into energy to power the casting furnace of light, and the other part is converted into steel. Although the output is relatively small, but Self-sufficiency is achieved, and no additional energy is required to operate the material conversion furnace.

He strictly followed the composition of the standard alloy for conversion. Every time a part of steel was converted, a part of other metal elements required by the standard alloy formula would be converted. Every time a certain amount was collected, these metals and other elements would be combined into a standard alloy, and then transported to the warehouse. Store them in the area and use them as materials for building warships.

A warship needs more than alloys, but also other metal materials. Some places also need some rare materials. These light casting furnaces can be transformed freely, but the output is not much and the energy consumption is too high.

But these are small problems, and the efficiency and convenience are enough to offset these consumptions.

There are more than 400 ore balls, each of which is about 10 million cubic meters, and only about 100,000 cubic meters are left after refining. After deducting a part of refining and energy consumption, only 14 million cubic meters of steel ingots are left after refining, with a total value of about Around 16 billion.

In addition, after staying here for about two days, Li Lie, Li Qi and other members went out and grabbed a bunch of mining transport ships, and they collected about 7 billion steel ingots.

That’s not bad, and it’s just the beginning.

In the following days, they wandered in this star field, looking for some large and small mining bases of the Shata civilization. They ate as much as they could, and left as soon as they could not. With their super fast speed, no fleet could catch up with them. on them.

With the command of the Servant of Light, Li Qing didn’t have to keep an eye on the fleet all the time, he just acted as a hands-off shopkeeper and entered the universe in the palm of his hand.

The dock is still in operation, and the blueprints for the warships that were previously stationed have not been used up.

But according to the current efficiency, it won’t take long to run out.

It has only been about a month since they went to sea, and they have stationed two hundred frigates and ten destroyers, but only a small part of them are equipped with weapons and accessories to go to war.

Li Qing went to the research institute first. The newly enlightened servant of light is still eager to learn new knowledge, and has not started to study the mother chip.

However, the dozens of newly learned skills have been upgraded to above LV5, and the speed is amazing. It is estimated that it will be upgraded to above LV10 in less than half a year, and you can start to study the mother chip.

The new quota of servants of light is still in accordance with the previous plan, and a physical scientist was attuned.

It was the physicist recruited before, named Chu Yichuan, who was nothing like the engineering guy, a very ordinary physicist with a green name, the original physical science theory skill was only LV7, after enlightenment Instantly soared to LV20, and this is not the part-time engineer who has all the relevant skills, which can come in handy after enlightenment.

The task Li Qing gave him was to analyze the mother chip of the frigate together with Chu Hanqiu, and get a thorough understanding of its technology.

The main body of frigate design and architecture is engineering, but there is still a little correlation with physics.

Four categories of physics, namely theoretical physics, force field manipulation, particle physics, and computing technology.

Among them, theoretical physics is temporarily ignored. According to the technology currently mastered by human beings, it is difficult for theoretical physics to make much progress at this stage.

The remaining force fields, particles, and computing technologies are directly related to other accessories of the battleship. Various physics-related weapons and accessories, as well as the basic accessories of the battleship, all need to rely on the battleship. Designing a unique frigate requires engineering combined with physics.

After arranging this matter, Li Qing returned to the dock and brought back a manufacturing blueprint of the Excellent Black Hawk frigate. Next, he planned to build these six Excellent Black Eagle frigates.

During this period of time, I occasionally fished into the universe in my palm to build a ship. I have raised my shipbuilding skill from LV9 to LV10, and I am qualified to build a Black Hawk-class frigate.

Even though there are battleships now, Black Hawk-class frigates still play a pivotal role in strategy.

First of all, its basic hull armor and shield are extremely strong, both with 2000 points. In addition, its basic speed is as high as 150,000 kilometers per hour, which is faster than a destroyer. Ordinary frigates are much higher. In summary, the combat effectiveness of an excellent Black Hawk-class frigate is close to that of a standard destroyer.

Well, it’s just close. With the same equipment, the destroyer is stronger.

After all, the hull armor shield is higher, and the weapon slots are also more, so the combination must be stronger.

No matter how strong a frigate is, it is still a frigate. Unless it is equipped with more than six generations of weapons and equipment, it is impossible to beat a destroyer under the same circumstances.

In terms of combat effectiveness, the strategic role of frigates is naturally not to be used on the battlefield, but it has the strongest combat effectiveness with the highest speed and flexibility, and is best at performing tasks that are not suitable for large fleets.

For example, sneaking into the hinterland of enemy-occupied areas flexibly.

It is difficult for the large fleet to sneak into the interior of the Shata civilization step by step. It is not strict here. When it enters the interior of the southern province of the Shata civilization and is about to approach its capital or other important galaxies, there will be fleets stationed in the wormholes of each galaxy. At that time, the Grand Fleet could only attack head-on.

Even the Servants of Light cannot avoid losses in the case of a door-blocking battle, especially if the door-blocking fleet is strong enough, it may not even be able to attack.

The wormhole is full of bets. Once you jump into it, all kinds of halo cannons are on your face. You can only fight hard in the first few waves. When the enemy’s firepower is strong enough, hundreds of battleships will focus on fire. Even the battleships can only be aggrieved Burst at the door.

But if it is replaced by a flexible frigate, a few Black Hawks hide in the frigate group and rush out of the wormhole, and the small target is super fast. The ability to jump directly out of the encirclement, that is, the sea is wide enough for fish to leap, and the sky is high for birds to fly.

Hide the fleet in the universe in the palm of your hand, and use this method to easily travel through galaxies by yourself until you enter the depths of the Shata civilization.

That’s right, although he has quit, the Crimson team’s plan is too crazy, but it’s also too tempting, and he still can’t forget it.

Waiting for a few Black Hawk frigates to come out, he is going to go over and see if they can do it.

If you can’t do it, forget it, find a chance to plunder a wave and leave.

If it can be done, I’m sorry, he also wants to go in and have a look, to see if he can fish in troubled waters.

It’s one thing to earn more and less, but I mainly want to see what the southern capital of the Shata tribe’s joint civilization looks like.

The blueprint of the Black Hawk frigate is not much different from that of a frigate. Compared with the 120-meter length of the Haiyan frigate, the Black Eagle frigate is 180 meters long and takes 90 days to build. It only takes 20 days for him.

The bare boat of the standard Haiyan frigate is 20 million, the bare boat of the elite Raptor class frigate can be sold for 30 million, and the bare boat of the excellent Black Hawk frigate is generally about 50 million, and the minimum price of the outpost is 70 million. Rare things are more expensive.

Directly use the casting furnace of light to convert all the necessary materials. The total cost is only about 50%, about 25 million. If you sell it to the outpost for 70 million, you can earn 45 million.

Too bad there aren’t enough blueprints.

”We have to wait a little longer.”

Wait for the team of scientists to be in place, analyze the mother chip thoroughly, and then start upgrading. Compared with relying on the frigate mother chip to condense the speed, it is not only many times faster, but the key is to save a lot of preconditions.

Why did he pay such a high price to buy this mother chip even if he owed 1.5 trillion stars? The main reason is that with this mother chip, as long as there is a strong enough team of scientists, he can start research immediately.

If you want to rely on your own team of scientists to condense the mother chip, the first prerequisite is to capture a living planet, and then immigrate to develop a sufficient population.

Why do you want to do this?

To condense the crystallization of civilization from scratch, in addition to scientists, civilization points are also needed.

Civilization points do not come out of thin air, but need enough people to gather them, and they must be born on a living planet to gather civilization points.

Of course, taking civilization points from other races can also be used, but there are so many civilization points for him to plunder. Of course, it is best to raise it yourself, self-sufficient and continuous.

So buying the mother chip directly can save a lot of time and effort. Scientists can accumulate a lot of experience by researching and analyzing the mother chip of this frigate. In the future, if the conditions are met, they can condense the mother chip in one step, reducing a lot of trial and error costs.

Six outstanding Black Hawk-class frigates were built together in six docks. During the construction, he also modified them by the way and allocated the modification points. The Black Hawk-class frigates have a total of nine modification points, all of which are allocated to general slots. Added 9 S small general slots in one go.

Since it is special operations and infiltration, life-saving ability ranks first, and thick shield armor can naturally increase the chance of survival.

During construction wait time, he took a look at the warehouse area.

The transformation of the agricultural and grazing areas in the warehouse area is still going on. Although the efficiency of many robots has indeed been greatly accelerated under the addition of the Children of the Stars, there is still a long way to go before the complete transformation.

He spent a week on a comprehensive inspection and found that the biggest problem lies in the conditioning of the land.

After all, they were all barren meteorites before. Although they are all shattered now, they have only changed from whole meteorites to finely divided meteorites, and the essence has not changed from meteorites to soil.

This kind of sandy soil cannot be used for planting yet, and needs to be further adjusted by adding various land elements.

Li Qingyou was thinking, is there any way to buy Shar people? The species evolved from this plant are masters of land transformation. A barren planet can be easily transformed into a forest planet. It is not difficult to transform the warehouse area.

These are all assumptions. The Shar people are too far away from here, and the Shata civilization can’t get around it. At this stage, there are only a few daring people sneaking in to capture some Shar people’s slaves. The quantity is small and expensive, and now they can only rely on themselves.

When they came out of the palm universe, the six excellent Black Hawk-class frigates had already been built, and their weapons were being configured, and they would be ready for battle in a short time.

Frigate (Black Hawk class): Patrol, escort, reconnaissance, alert, mine, support landing, and support for the Marine Corps to land on the planet.

Attributes:

Basic hull: 2000

Basic Armor: 2000

Basic Shield: 2000

Basic speed: 150000 km/h

Default Tactic: Sentinel Tactic.

Fleet slot size: 1.

Guard core (default)

Components: energy core, superluminal components, thrusters, detectors, combat computers.

Weapon slots: M1, S7, P2.

General slot: M2, S7, A2.

Although frigates have always been used as cannon fodder, if they are fully equipped with Black Hawk-class frigates, they still have not weak combat effectiveness.

After more than half a month, the fleet has arrived in an unknown star field. At this time, it is rounding up a large-scale transport fleet on a channel of the Shata civilization.

The escorting fleet only consisted of 2 battleships, 6 cruisers, 12 destroyers, and as many as 140 frigates. Facing the fleet led by Li Yuan, it was overwhelmingly crushed. When he came out of the universe in his palm, the 140 frigates had been completely destroyed. Seven seven eight eight, at this time the main force is focusing on two battleships.

As for the transport fleet that was fleeing at this time, Li Lie had already followed up with 5 destroyers and 30 frigates, so he definitely couldn’t escape.
