The Age of Giant Ships and Cannons

Chapter 27： Running a business to make money
Chapter 27 Running a business to make money

Hanging up the communication, Li Qing immediately controlled the battleship to turn around, spent another three million star yuan, and queued up again to return to Jinmen.

Before, I didn’t expect that running a business from the transfer base to the outpost base would make so much money, and the profit was as high as 40%.

Of course, the outpost is mainly built by the Yu clan in Jinmen. Yu Yuefei can get 40% of the profit by relying on her family relationship. Outsiders should not be able to get it, but they can get about 30% at least.

A simple 30% profit is nothing, but if you can get 30% for a large transaction, then the profit will be considerable.

30% of 10,000 and 30% of 100 million are different things, and 30% of 1 trillion is another world.

He can’t make up a trillion yuan now, but he can make up tens of billions of capital for a trip, and a trip will make a profit of 3 billion, which is quite profitable.

He has only about 2 billion funds left, but he plans to trade all the warship construction materials he bought before. These are also needed there, and they are one of the most demanded materials.

Among them, the light materials of the frigate are 6 billion, the light materials of the destroyer are 4.5 billion, and the materials of the two cruisers are 1.2 billion.

In addition, the batch of transport ships, industrial ships, large mining ships, etc. he bought can actually be traded, as long as he takes them there safely, he will accept them.

In this way, the cost is not only 10 billion, but more than 30 billion, and it can earn nearly 10 billion in one trip.

”Hiss!”

Li Qing’s eyes lit up immediately.

Returning to Jinmen, he left 500 million of the 2 billion on hand as a spare, and purchased all the remaining 1.5 billion for shipment.

The goods arrived on the third day, and he came to the transit base through the star gate again.

It’s a pity that there is not enough time, otherwise he could use the star gate to transfer supplies back and forth between Jinmen and the transit base.

Although the price difference between Jinmen and the transfer base is not big, it can still make a gross profit. The price difference between the two places for some special materials can even reach about 5%. Anyway, his ticket for the frigate back and forth is only 2 million, worth tens of billions Even a 1% difference in the price of bulk goods is a profit of hundreds of millions.

There are not many singles, but the more times you earn, the more you earn.

It’s just that there is a risk in doing so, because the two places are connected by star gates, and the price fluctuations in the two places will never be too large. Once a certain price fluctuates greatly, the market will intervene to stabilize the price.

He must sell the goods before the price stabilizes. Once he misses the opportunity and the price stabilizes again, then he is wasting his time for nothing, and may even lose money.

Of course, the time to go directly through the star gate is very short, the probability of this situation is not high, and the probability of making money is high after all, but it is troublesome and tiring.

More importantly, he has been doing this all the time, and it is easy to be jealous.

”I need to find a stable raw material supplier!”

All the goods he buys now are bought from the market, and they are market selling prices, not wholesale prices.

If you can find a stable large-scale raw material supplier, or find a stable supply channel and lower the purchase price, you will definitely earn more.

Li Qing decided that after this trip was over, he would find time to learn more about upstream raw material suppliers and see if he could find a suitable one.

Returning to the galaxy of the transit base, he left the transit base according to the coordinates given by Li Lie, came to a galaxy next door, came out of the wormhole and flew in one direction at sub-light speed for more than three hours, before arriving at a frozen planet , From a distance, I saw a super-large fleet moored on the surface of the planet, and the center was full of large cargo ships.

Around the fleet, there are a large number of warships parked at different angles in the form of belonging to different fleets.

Among them, what attracted his attention the most was a large fleet of more than 600 warships including 14 battleships located in front of the fleet.

For the pioneers, being able to form a large fleet with more than 600 battleships and support 14 battleships is already quite ferocious. You must know that even the Burning Ghost team is occupying Jinmen. After so long, it seems that there is no such a powerful fleet now.

In addition to this fleet, there are three other powerful fleets with battleships, one, two, and seven ships, a total of ten battleships.

All together, the total number of warships has exceeded 3,000, but the total number is not as many as transport ships.

Li Qing first contacted Li Lie. At this time, he and Li Qi and others’ fleet were in the **** fleet. After connecting to the communication, he was surprised to find that he had directly entered the fleet channel, and was then pulled into the channel of Li Lie and their team. Inside, Li Qi and others are there.

It is estimated that Li Lie said before that Li Qi and others were not surprised to see him coming, and even greeted him.

He waved his hand in response, and Li Lie said to him:

”I’ll put you into my team first, and you can follow us when the time comes.”

”OK.”

Li Lie’s team has a total of eleven people. Apart from him and Li Qi, there are also a few people from the Tongqinghe Li clan that Li Lie brought here. They are basically mixed if they can be brought here, but Not too bad either.

That is to say, there are two factions in his small team of eleven people.

But now they seem to be getting along very well, and have not seen any conflicts between different factions.

After a simple welcome, Li Qing was assigned two warships to follow the team, among which the frigate was temporarily under the command of the team, and he commanded the destroyer alone.

The main reason for this allocation is that the destroyer under his command is fast and suitable for reconnaissance.

According to Li Lie, although this trip is probably just a wave of soy sauce, and given the size of this **** fleet, it is unlikely that there will be any accidents, but they will still arrange some tasks after they are on the road, such as patrols or reconnaissance. One ship is more convenient and flexible .

There were still three days before departure. Li Qing saw that the time was still early, so he opened a personal passage in the battleship to enter the palm universe alone, and came to the warehouse area of the high-dimensional fortress. At this time, most of the goods were piled up in the warehouse area.

The huge warehouse area is 1,000 kilometers long, wide and high, divided into ten floors, each layer is 100 kilometers long, and subdivided into different levels. His goods worth tens of billions are placed in it, and even one percent of one floor Not stuffed.

These goods are sorted and placed on the first floor of the warehouse. Among them, the batch of 500 clones and the 500 robot commando army are placed in one section. When Li Qing came in again, the commanders of the two teams were building a simple temporary under the headquarters. base.

Li Qing glanced at it, pinching his chin in thought.

A little bit he snapped his fingers, and he had already made a decision in his mind.

Considering the upcoming journey and the estimated time spent in Zutar, he felt that it was necessary to build a self-sufficient base in the palm universe, and then put the three laboratories in it. .

It is easy to choose the location of the base construction, just build it in this warehouse area, choose the top tenth floor.

The length and width are each 1,000 kilometers, and the height is 100 kilometers. The height of this 100 kilometers can be subdivided into different levels. He can adjust the layered partitions at will to increase the height of the partition.

Such a large area has already exceeded the total area of an ordinary asteroid. To be honest, it is no problem to fully develop it to accommodate hundreds of millions of people.

The warehouse area has a total of ten floors, all of which can theoretically accommodate a population of tens of billions.

But in fact, this is just a thought. Although the actual operation is feasible, if this is done, the materials and money needed to maintain such a large closed community will exceed his imagination.

You must know that this is in the palm universe, it is just a warehouse area, surrounded by thick layers of unknown materials, there is no food, no water, not even the most valuable stones and soil, and you want to build a world in it, All materials must be obtained from outside.

This consumption is much more expensive than completely transforming a planet into a livable planet from scratch and developing it. If this ten-story warehouse area is fully blossomed, it can almost transform seven or eight barren planets, and Subsequent maintenance is also an astronomical figure.

Even if he is too idle to grow hair, he will not do this kind of thing. With this money and materials, wouldn’t it be nice to build a dreadnought? Wouldn’t it be nice to form a powerful fleet to capture a living planet?

So, at most, he will build a temporary base here first, and only build some infrastructure without large investment.

Temporarily only support some clone soldiers, construction engineers in the dock, apprentices and scientists in the three laboratories, and train a group of management talents by the way.

Of course, in the early stage, only some clone soldiers and construction engineers of the dock were raised.

As for apprentices, scientists, and management talents, they will wait until he makes a few more trips to the business and earns a little more money before implementing it.

The main reason is that things like scientific research are too expensive, the investment is simply bottomless, and the output is hard to say, but in most cases, there is nothing.

At the very least, if there are no excellent scientists to run the laboratory, no matter how much money is invested, there will be no good output.

But for any force, the three basic laboratories of biology, physics and engineering are necessary, because this is related to the acquisition of higher ships and weapons.

In the universe, the upper limit of conventional weapons that players can obtain is the fifth-generation technology, and after the fifth generation, there are sixth-generation technology, seventh-generation technology, these super-conventional powerful weapons.

Compared to the conventional fifth-generation technology, starting from the sixth-generation technology, the power of weapons and ships will be qualitatively stronger in geometric multiples.

But generally speaking, it is difficult for players to obtain more than five generations of technology by themselves, which must be researched by themselves.

For example, the major armies of the United Empire of Mankind have dedicated top-level laboratories, and invest a huge amount of money every year to research and develop super-fifth-generation technology, but the results are insignificant.

Most of the time, a lot of money is invested, but as a result, only a super-fifth-generation version of a certain weapon can be developed, five and a half generations, not the sixth generation.

The fifth generation and a half is stronger than the fifth generation technology, but it is limited. It is equivalent to the enhanced version of the fifth generation, not the qualitative change they expect from the sixth generation.

Of course, even if it’s only five and a half generations, all the fleets will be updated in combination, and the combined combat power will be much stronger than that of the fifth generation, but this is just the strength on paper, not what they want. What they want is a The sixth generation of technology including all weapons and ships, only in this way can the military master go one step further and become a lord.

This is because, in the new universe, only those who have a complete and systematic sixth-generation technology can be promoted to Star Sea Lord, become the chosen emperor family of the United Human Empire, the real ruler, and have the qualifications to compete for the Emperor of the United Human Empire.

At the same time, after becoming the Lord of the Star Sea, he will also cross a certain boundary that cannot be described in words.

It can be said in layman’s terms, when you are promoted to Star Sea Lord, your name will be recognized by the entire universe in an instant, and all space civilizations in the entire universe that have left this galaxy will know your existence.

Similar to the Conferred Gods in DND novels, when you ignite the divine fire and raise the throne to confer the Gods, all the powerful people in the entire multiverse will instantly know your existence.

This means that in the United Empire of Mankind, there are a total of fourteen powerful Star Sea Lords with six generations of technology.

It is worth mentioning that the sixth-generation technology does not mean finding a new energy utilization method, but a technological breakthrough. Of course, using new energy to break through the sixth-generation technology is also a road, but this road is basically invisible .

In addition, it does not mean that ordinary players cannot use sixth-generation technological ship weapons. If they have the opportunity to obtain advanced weapons left over from powerful ancient civilizations, or directly purchase blueprints in this area from the fourteen star sea lord family, after making them same can be used.

This means that for ordinary players, there is actually no need to study any technology, only those large teams or legions with ambitions will get these.

They think that they will have the opportunity to become a military master in the future. At this time, stronger technology will come in handy. If they have the opportunity to break through the shackles of technology, the future is limitless.

Li Qing had this kind of thought in mind, he also wanted to become the leader of the army, and even the lord of Xinghai.

Of course, these are too far away from him at this stage. The United Empire of Mankind has entered the new universe for tens of thousands of years, and there are only fourteen Star Sea Lords up to now, which shows how difficult it is.

But although everything is difficult at the beginning, it is necessary to start from the beginning. First, build the laboratory and set up the shelf, and the rest is all kinds of accumulation. Slowly expand the scale of the three major laboratories. Useful.

It took two days to adjust the position of the barracks and move the supplies. When he came out of the universe in the palm, the team was ready to go.

At a certain moment, Li Qing was chatting with Li Lie, when suddenly a light curtain in front of the bridge popped up automatically, revealing a very delicate and beautiful woman in a light green military uniform.

Seeing this stunning beauty, Li Qing immediately felt a strong sense of astonishment.

The woman smiled and said crisply:

”Everyone, the caravan has been integrated, all the goods are on board, and we are about to set off. The journey is long and full of dangers. Please bear with us, brothers and sisters.”

Holding his hands together and saluting, with his beautiful face and exquisite figure, he immediately felt a refreshing and heroic spirit rushing towards his face.

The light curtain is automatically disconnected, and Li Lie, who is on the other side of the light curtain, said with a smile:

”How is it, isn’t it pretty?”

Li Qing came back to his senses, and replied in a little silence:

”pretty!”

”Are you excited?”

He stretched out his hand to hold his chest, and nodded seriously:

”It’s really exciting.”

Li Lie laughed loudly:

”It’s right to be excited. Ninety-nine percent of the men in this fleet are excited.”
