The Age of Giant Ships and Cannons

Chapter 19： A copy of the Battle of Jinmen (Part 1)
Chapter 19 Jinmen Battle Copy (Part 1)

One day three months later, Li Qing’s third batch of five frigates was completed and launched into the sea at the dock of the Gaowei Fortress in the palm of the universe.

There is no blind expansion. Although a chief engineer can preside over the construction of ten frigates at most at the same time, Li Qing considers that he cannot stay in the dock to build ships like a professional shipbuilder. He must do other things in the middle and leave Jinmen If you go to other places, if you expand blindly, not many ships will be built, but the wages must be paid, which is not worthwhile.

Of course, the main reason is that the capital is not enough. If there is enough capital to store materials for hundreds of thousands of frigates in the palm space dock, then they can hang out for a few years at any time before returning to sell them in one go.

Unfortunately not.

A total of 15 frigates were built in three months. Five frigates were built and sold every month, and materials were bought for construction and then sold. So far, they have earned a total of 58.5 million.

Instead of continuing to build, he came to Yu’s Shipyard. The Hurricane-class destroyer he ordered had already been built and left the factory.

After quickly completing a series of receiving procedures, Li Qing saw the Elite Hurricane-class destroyer parked in the dock, which was about 50 meters longer than the regular Tornado-class destroyer.

Board the ship, enter your own information into the battleship combat system, and determine control.

The length of the destroyer is more than twice that of the frigate, and the bridge area is larger than that of the frigate. The destroyer needs a total of 100 clone crew members, 5 senior crew members, and a captain. In addition to the buyout of 20 million clone crew members, The monthly salary is 500,000 + 1.25 million, the basic maintenance fee is 500,000, and the total monthly expenditure is 2.25 million.

Daily maintenance fee generally refers to the daily food, drink, and various basic needs of more than 100 crew members on the battleship.

With the salary in place, more than 160 crew members plus another frigate will be in place soon.

”Captain, you are ready to go!”

Sitting on the main command chair, Li Qing waved his hand, the captain nodded, stretched out his hand to connect points on the light curtain in front of him, and issued a series of orders.

The battleship trembled slightly, and the screen outside the glass of the large observation deck in front of the bridge began to move slowly. The huge dock base slowly disappeared from sight.

From the outside, among the countless warships moored at the huge space station of Yu’s Shipyard, a warship slightly larger than an ordinary destroyer slowly left the space station and entered the starry sky.

Waiting for the battleship to leave the shipyard space station for about 100 kilometers, the staff officer on the side reported to him:

”Your Excellency Commander, there is communication access.”

Li Qing stretched out his hand a little, and the light curtain in front of him popped open, and a bald man with his right eye transformed into a mechanical eye appeared in front of him, saluted him as a soldier, and said in a deep voice:

”The captain of the No. 1 frigate reported to the commander, requesting to join the team!”

”Accept joining the team!”

This is another frigate.

After waiting for about 20 minutes, a battleship that looked no different from a common frigate came over. After exchanging a series of signals, the frigate slowly drove to the edge of the destroyer to maintain the **** status.

After carefully checking that the status of the two warships was normal, Li Qing ordered the fleet to start the hyperspace engine at the same time and sail to the north of the galaxy.

Two hours later, the battleship broke away from the sublight speed state and appeared near a gas giant planet.

Through the front glass of the bridge, you can see a huge vortex in the void in front of you. A beam of light is ejected from the vortex, and there are densely packed warships moored around it.

This vortex is the entrance of subspace fragments, in layman’s terms, it is a copy entrance.

The so-called copies are divided into two types. One refers to various subspace fragments, which are generally very dangerous. After the initial exploration, they will be transformed into re-entrant subspace fragments, commonly known as copies.

The other is a copy formed by projecting some special events for some special reasons.

Each player can enter unlimited dungeons per month, but each dungeon can only be entered once a month.

That is to say, a single copy can only be entered once a month, but there is no limit to entering different copies.

And once entering the dungeon, once the battle is damaged, just like the reality, the ship will be destroyed and people will die, and even if the wreckage cannot be salvaged to return part of the cost, the insurance company will not compensate for the loss.

The only good thing is that no matter what method of death in the dungeon, it is only a normal method of death, and only five years of life will be lost.

But even so, there are still many players who enter a copy every month.

The reason for this is naturally the harvest in the copy.

In any dungeon, as long as you complete a series of tasks, you will get points. As long as the points reach the minimum standard, you can choose to use these points to exchange for various blueprints to leave the dungeon safely.

From the next generation of electromagnetic gun construction blueprints, up to the full set of battleship construction blueprints, as long as you have enough points, you can exchange them.

It can be said that the copy is the place where most of the blueprints in the entire new universe are produced.

Li Qing didn’t come here to collect blueprints, but just to test the combat effectiveness of the two top-equipped warships.

Apply to enter the dungeon first, and soon the light curtain pops up in front of you. It shows that you are ranked No. 214. It seems that the queue is quite long, but in fact you don’t have to wait long.

While queuing up, he checked the information of this dungeon.

This dungeon is called [Battle of Jinmen], and it is a typical dungeon formed by special event projection. The historical background comes from the last decisive battle where the Yu family defeated the main force of the local alien civilization hundreds of years ago.

Entering the copy, you will come to the historical moment when the Yu Clan Expeditionary Army defeated the alien civilization, captured the alien home planet, and opened up the Jinmen Province hundreds of years ago.

Players will participate in this battle as a mercenary fleet, and your performance determines how many points you get.

There are a total of four copies in Jinmen, three copies are related to the navy, and one copy is related to the army. The Battle of Jinmen is the largest copy and the one with the highest theoretical income, because the highest reward for this copy is a dreadnought Flagship construction blueprints.

The reason why it is called a theory is because Liao Liao Wuji, who has been able to obtain the blueprint for the construction of the fearless flagship for hundreds of years, only seven have a total of more than 100 points in the dungeon points ranking.

The Fearless Flagship blueprint ranked first on the dungeon reward redemption list requires 100 points to redeem, which means that only seven people can redeem it at most.

The speed of the battleship entering the instance was very fast. The two battleships kept approaching the entrance of the instance, and it was his turn in less than half an hour.

Following a powerful traction force, the two battleships plunged into the vortex, arousing a raging energy tide.

”This is a magnificent epic battle!”

”Wealth and Resources”

”Blood and Smoke”

”To Live and To Die”

”The battle for the survival of the race between the Expeditionary Force from the United Empire of Mankind and the Bonnier Star Sea Empire is unfolding here. As a mercenary of the Expeditionary Force, what wonderful performance will you have in this magnificent epic battle?”

The distorted font on the smooth surface slowly slid down, the battleship swayed slowly, and huge explosions were heard from time to time, but there was a blur outside the glass of the bridge.

Not long after, all the characters on the light curtain in front of him fell off, and the blur outside the glass of the bridge slowly became clear. With the slight shock of the battleship, Li Qing suddenly found that his two battleships appeared at the berth of a huge space station Starport .

The shipboard radar quickly scanned and quickly cleared the surroundings. The light curtain in front of him was lit up, and a huge fleet led by a super warship with a length of more than ten kilometers was slowly leaving the port.

”Hiss! Titan super flag!”

The huge hull and the muzzle of the iconic doomsday weapon all made Li Qing’s hair purple with envy.

”Dream!”

All naval commanders dream of having a Titan flagship, but only Liao Liao can achieve this dream.

What is the Titan super flagship? It is the most powerful warship in the star sea, not one of them.

A hull of more than ten kilometers or even longer, unimaginable armor and shields, a T-slot doomsday weapon that can directly blow up a planet as large as the earth, and various powerful super-flag force field auras, all kinds of factors are superimposed , a Titan super flag suddenly joins the battlefield, and can often turn the tide of the battle in an instant.

Li Qing watched this huge fleet leave the base with a pious heart. A halo of force field covered the entire fleet. As the space was violently distorted, the huge fleet leaped away together under the halo of the Titan Super Flag.

What is Titan Super Flagship, this is Titan Super Flagship.

Super-flagship-level jump engines can penetrate most of the interception and interference force fields, and bring a fleet of tens of thousands of main battleships directly onto the battlefield, instantly reversing the situation of the battle.

Unfortunately, he is not qualified to see the heroic appearance of this Titan super flag, and he has never seen it before.

Regardless of Qinghe or Jinmen, there has never been a big battle that can make the Titan super flagship dispatch.

It wasn’t until the fleet left for a long time and the space fluctuations caused by the tens of thousands of fleet transitions disappeared that Li Qing came back to his senses, calmed down, and checked the dungeon mission.

The task of the dungeon is very simple, it is a battle, of course it is a war.

There are no fancy tasks, there are only three battlefields, one big and two small. Players choose a battlefield to join, and then get points based on the number of enemies killed in the battlefield.

According to his strength evaluation, every enemy frigate sunk is 0.1 points, a destroyer is 0.5 points, a cruiser is 2 points, a battleship is 20 points, and a flagship is 500 points.

This point is obtained according to the strength of different players. Weak players get more points, and powerful players get less points for sinking warships.

If Li Qing has a battleship, then sinking a frigate may cost 0.01 points, and sinking a battleship may cost 5 points.

Li Qing didn’t think about it, and directly chose the second battlefield among the three major battlefields, one of the two secondary battlefields.

He checked the information when queuing up before, and the difficulty in this dungeon is dynamic, and the situation of the battlefield is different every time he enters, except for the main battlefield, the battle situation of the two small battlefields is changing every time, there is no such thing as Which is a good situation to score points.

Moreover, Li Qing didn’t even think about earning points, let alone the blueprint of a dauntless flagship, he just came to test the power of the two ships.

And when he enters the battlefield, he won’t go in rashly. He just hangs around the edge of the battlefield. If the situation is not good, he will run away. After 24 hours, the dungeon will automatically end and send away.

Are you kidding, he only has these two ships, a destroyer and a frigate, why can he retreat after destroying so many enemy ships in a chaotic battlefield of tens of thousands?

When the main guns of any battleship are locked, the fully equipped frigate will be killed immediately, and the fully equipped destroyer can carry two guns at most, so why fight?

By Psyker?

If he’s a storm-class psyker, a wave of psionic storms might destroy a damaged battleship if he gets a chance, but he’s not.

Battlefield No. 2 is not in this galaxy, but a galaxy within six hops north of Jinmen. The alien civilization has a super-large mineral planet here, so a star castle was built here and a fleet was stationed there.

At this time, the battle had already begun. After Li Qing received the mission, the two warships left the base and flew towards the wormhole on the edge of the galaxy.

The galaxy is full of warships of expeditionary forces and mercenaries. When they leave this galaxy, the next few galaxies are like this. Especially, as long as there are planets within the main channel, there are outposts, and interference and interception blockers are deployed to prevent the enemy from attacking. The ship directly passed the decapitated at sub-light speed.

It is worth mentioning that this dungeon is projecting the Battle of Jinmen, and the scope includes all galaxies within a hundred light-year range centered on Jinmen.

Theoretically, it is possible to leave the three major battlefields and go to other places, but if doing so is equivalent to desertion, all the points accumulated before will be cleared.

The advantage is that you can leave the copy alive.

When approaching the galaxy next to the battlefield, Li Qing stood up and said to the senior crew behind him:

”We are about to enter the battlefield, and please work together to fight against the powerful enemy! After the battle, each will be rewarded with an additional one-month salary allowance.”

The senior crew members and captains of several destroyers, as well as the frigate captains and senior crew members in the communication channel all nodded seriously, and the crew members in the channel also showed joy when they heard this.

Li Qing nodded, morale is available.

Although both the crew and the captain are blank slates, it is still up to them to play later in the battle.

It’s not that he doesn’t want to make a good captain, but that he can’t find a captain with a talented crew.

Although Jinmen has a large-scale vocational college area, there are a large number of occupations available for recruitment every year. Among them, there are absolutely no green names or blue names. Occasionally, there will be crew members or captains with purple epic talents, but these excellent ones have not yet been recruited. He has been spotted by headhunters since he came out of the academy and signed a contract.

If you want these excellent captains, not to mention the salary far exceeding that of ordinary captains, you must go through these headhunting companies and recruit them at an extra cost.

The most important thing is that most of the time, they can’t be recruited at all, not only because of the small number, but also because these talented captains don’t like you.

To put it bluntly, the low-end market recruits casually, as long as the salary is in place.

But an excellent captain chooses the commander. This is a two-way choice. If the other party thinks that you have no future as a commander, they will ignore you.

So after Li Qing understood the situation in this area, he didn’t think about finding a good captain in the past. He just got a batch of white board crew captains to make do with it. Anyway, most of the players are the same. Don’t take advantage.

An hour later, the two battleships plunged into the wormhole.
