After the Breakup, Indulgence Returned to Cash, and I Topped the Rich List

159: Chapter 159 The Swiss Maria!Hearing this, Wang Sicong said irritably, ”Satisfied is satisfied, but why do you like to leave such long pauses when you talk, kid? It’s a good thing the chef isn’t here, otherwise, you would have scared the living daylights out of him.”

Ge Haiyang finally realized that this must have been the chef’s tasting session, and his unintentional conversation had created a misunderstanding.

He couldn’t help but laugh and cry at the same time.

Shen Zhou waved his hand and said, ”It’s fine. The caliber of chefs who can come here for an internship is never low.”

”With their credentials, even if they can’t work here, they definitely won’t go hungry.”

Every chef capable of coming to Pearl Castle has an annual salary of over 200,000 Euros.

Furthermore, they were already guests of honor in wealthy households.

Even if they settled for opening their own shops, they could still quickly make a name for themselves and would never be short of work.

If not for the long history of Pearl Castle and the fact that Vicente is a renowned butler, they might not have been able to hire those chefs.

Soon, several young and beautiful women nearby brought over tea and placed it on the table.

”Everyone, try it,” Shen Zhou said, gesturing with his hand.

Kang Minghao first took a deep breath, then his eyes lit up as he said, ”If I’m not mistaken, this tea is da hong pao!”

Shen Zhou smiled without speaking. Suddenly, the eyes of the others nearby lit up, and they hurriedly picked up their tea to taste it.

After the first sip, they felt the fragrance lingering in their mouths, and there was even a sweet aftertaste in their throats. A very gentle and refreshing sensation flowed continuously through their abdomens.

”Although this tea isn’t the legendary true da hong pao, it comes from the same variety of tea trees as the ones in Wuyi Mountain.”

Shen Zhou gently held the teacup, swirled it slightly, and enjoyed the aroma wafting to his nose. This tea was a gift from Andrei.

Although there wasn’t much of it, every gram was more expensive than gold. Most importantly, this stuff couldn’t be bought with money.

Andrei had also obtained a small amount by chance while doing business with people from China.

”An eye-opener, this is truly an eye-opener!” Wang Sicong said with deep emotion.

Many years ago, he had tasted a similar flavor at his grandfather’s place. He had remembered that taste for over twenty years, and he didn’t expect to have the good fortune to taste it again today.

Kang Minghao’s expression was even more complex.

”This kind of tea is something only my uncles who are currently in power can afford to drink.”

”Brother Shen, you are simply amazing!”

Hearing this, the expressions of the others as they looked at Shen Zhou changed. One had to know that those uncles of Kang Minghao were all individuals with immense power. Even if they weren’t true regional officials, they were still figures in Chinese politics who could not be ignored.

”Forget it, let’s not talk about that.”

”I plan to form a racing team, but I don’t have much of a clue at the moment.” Shen Zhou frowned slightly in distress.

If he wanted to complete Tongzi-ge’s mission, he had to gain enough attention. But at the venue of the Kuangbiao Competition, apart from ridiculous and nonsensical attention-seeking behaviors, nothing could attract more attention than forming a racing team.

Of course, the most critical thing was that for this Kuangbiao Competition, even if he formed a new team, it would be too late. Therefore, what he needed was to acquire a team as soon as possible.

He didn’t need this team to achieve spectacular results, but first and foremost, they had to be able to compete. Although this might not necessarily work, there would be even less chance if he didn’t try.

”Ah, Old Shen, are you playing for such high stakes?”

”This is the Kuangbiao Competition; it’s not something the F1 series can compare to.” Wang Sicong couldn’t help but exclaim in surprise.

What young man hasn’t dreamed of driving a race car and galloping on the track? Who hasn’t thought of receiving the cheers and attention of the crowd while speeding like the wind? But behind every team, there is the support of a truly large corporate group.

”I’m just playing around; I haven’t thought about getting any great results.” Shen Zhou waved his hand casually. In this regard, Wang Sicong was more professional; the guy’s garage was almost too full to hold his sports cars.

”As far as I know, a new team needs to pay at least 200 million USD in dilution compensation, plus a 200 million USD entry fee.”

”If you want to develop a brand-new race car, the various parts, plus testing costs, would also require about 100 million USD.”

”Excluding these startup expenses, the annual operating cost would also be between 200 to 500 million USD.”

”Adding it all up, that’s nearly 800 million USD.” By the end, Wang Sicong was looking at Shen Zhou as if he were a god.

”Sounds okay, right?”

”I’m not worried about the investment; it’s mainly that I lack some professional help.” Shen Zhou had always believed that specialized tasks should be done by specialized personnel, and he didn’t like to interfere arbitrarily.

”Actually, there are quite a few professionals in this circle who aren’t currently working.”

”It’s just that their asking prices probably aren’t low.”

”And you might also need to prepare a suitable venue later to maintain the team’s daily operations.” Wang Sicong added a few more sentences. His eyes were gleaming, and it was clear that he was very interested in this.

”Originally, I intended to buy a plot of land first, but who knew that by accident, I ended up buying Pearl Castle instead.”

”However, the matter of the land has also been put on the agenda. I’ve already sent people to look, but it still requires professionals to finalize it.”

He wasn’t short of money, but he was afraid of buying unsuitable land. Furthermore, according to his plan, it would be best to directly contract the venue of the Kuangbiao Competition and use it as a daily training ground.

Wang Sicong immediately gave a thumbs up and said, ”If you’re ’this’, then there’s basically no obstacle.”

”I happen to know two people here in Switzerland who are into cars, but I don’t think they’re very professional.”

”I suggest you consult with the Swiss Bank directly.”

Hearing this, Shen Zhou had an epiphany. Indeed, as someone with billions in deposits at the Swiss Bank and as the sole heir of Andrei, the Swiss Bank would certainly do its utmost to provide him with various services. Moreover, the two parties had previously completed an extremely smooth transaction regarding Pearl Castle.

Thinking of this, Shen Zhou acted immediately and soon began contacting a specialist from the Swiss Bank.

Not long after, a lady named Maria arrived at Pearl Castle under the guidance of the butler Vicente.

Upon first meeting her, even Shen Zhou, who had long been accustomed to beautiful women, couldn’t help but have his eyes light up.

This lady named Maria had a head of red hair, with long, slightly curly locks cascading freely over both sides of her shoulders. Her pupils were a cerulean blue, contrasting with her snow-white skin, looking just like the blue sky and white clouds.
