I am God LSLCCF

Chapter 373: Shana, What a Nostalgic Name!

Long brought a strange, cloaked figure into Mooneclipse City.

A careful look would reveal that beneath the cloak was a lifelike mud person.

His face was made of mud, its surface formed from fine white clay. His tail, also made of mud, could somehow move. Without close inspection, one might mistake it for mud splattered from the wilderness.

This was a Seal Puppet.

The Feathered Serpentʼs true body rested in the Shepherdʼs River, controlling this Seal Puppet as it followed Long by boat to reach the opposite shore.

”Steady now,” Long said to the boatman, as if he were afraid the Feathered Serpentʼs body might fall into the water and dissolve.

The boatman recognized Long. ”Sir,” he said, ”back to investigate the plague again, are you?”

”To think someone as important as you cares about the lives of insignificant people like us.”

Long replied to the boatman, ”Iʼm not someone important. Iʼm merely a servant of the divine.”

The boatman nodded and said a prayer, ”Praise be to the God of Knowledge and Truth.”
As Contract Lawyers and Witch Spirits gained fame in Mooneclipse City, the name of the God of Knowledge and Truth became more widely known.

These people might not have been true worshippers of the God of Knowledge and Truth, but in the presence of anyone from the Contract Lawyer Guild or these servants of the divine, they would instinctively offer praise to the Divine Being.

As they stepped into the Begalei District, the Feathered Serpent felt a strange unease.

It turned to Long. ”Do you hear anything unusual?”

Its powerful spirituality seemed to sense screams and wails of anguish all around, as if people everywhere were cursing and raging.

The sound seemed to come from at least hundreds, perhaps thousands, of people gathered together, echoing faintly in its ears.

Yet when the Feathered Serpent listened carefully, it could not tell where the sound was coming from.

Long, however, looked completely bewildered. He had no sense of it.

”What sound?”

The Feathered Serpent remained silent, and the two continued toward their destination.

This was the district with the most workshops in Mooneclipse City, and the plague outbreak was most severe here.

Almost every day, dozens more people were confirmed to have the plague.

They were sent to the Medical Fortress, but they never came back.

Gradually, some people began to refuse to send their children or relatives there, choosing instead to hide them away.

But once discovered by the Royal Court guards, these people were immediately punished. Those infected with the plague were forcibly taken away.

This was the situation in the Begalei District and other, more prosperous areas. In the plague-stricken slums, things were different.

Those slums were directly sealed off, with no one inside allowed to leave. As for whether the people lived or died, no one cared or even knew what had become of them.

Long seemed familiar with the area, quickly leading the Feathered Serpentʼs Seal Puppet to a street where he knew many people had fallen ill.

However, Long had not reported their condition.

He understood that the transmission of this disease was not straightforward. It was not a genuine plague, nor did it spread simply through person-to-person contact.

It was a supernatural power.

This was the reason Long had spent so much time investigating without uncovering the source of the plague.

This type of supernaturally transmitted plague left almost no trace, much like those curse voices that could not be heard.

As they entered the alley, the Feathered Serpent sensed the sounds growing louder and more intense.

Many people infected with the plague were in this alley. Long was noticed the moment he entered, as many people here knew him.

”Sir, you have come again.”

Long nodded and informed the others that he had brought a skilled physician.

The Feathered Serpent entered a house, its voice appearing in Longʼs mind. ”You are deceiving them. I am not a physician.”

Long replied mentally, ”In their eyes, anyone who can cure an illness is a physician.”

The Feathered Serpent looked at the young man lying in bed and could sense the curse sounds coming from him.

The Feathered Serpent glanced at Long, its voice appearing in his mind. ”Is this the plague you mentioned?”

Long nodded, ”Not an ordinary plague, but what exactly it is, I donʼt know either.”

Long suddenly recalled something.

”Oh, right,” he added. ”The person who asked me to find you mentioned something. I think he called it a curse.”

”But what is a curse? Cursing at someone? Can that actually make them ill?”

Long had never heard of such a thing. Before the Lord of Purgatory, people did not know that curses were also a kind of power.

The Feathered Serpent said, ”Divine beings do not rely on curses. They only need to look at someone to change their entire life form.”

Long raised an eyebrow. ”Wait, how did we end up talking about divine beings?” He did not seem to realize the Feathered Serpent was referring to itself.

The young man on the bed was covered in rashes and burning with a fever.

He was talking deliriously.

The Feathered Serpent reached out and touched his forehead.

A spirit light radiated from its hand.

The people around gasped in surprise. They saw a white light radiating from the strangerʼs hand, enveloping the young man.

Only then did they realize this strange, cloaked figure was actually an Ability User.

It made sense. This was someone Long had brought.

The Feathered Serpent immediately sensed everything within the young man, even penetrating his spirituality to perceive his entire condition.

The Feathered Serpent remained motionless, but its voice echoed in Longʼs mind.

”This is not a plague.”

”Someone has forced a strange power into their Mythical Blood.”

”I see it now. It is a combination of seal imprints and spirit. It is branded deep in their spirituality and consciousness.”

”That spirit and seal imprint are eroding the Mythical Blood in his body. They are causing these physical changes.”

As the Feathered Serpent spoke, it suddenly froze.

Spirit, seal imprint, divine blood.

Were these not the three elements of the Art of Godʼs Grace?

The Feathered Serpent had obtained the Art of Godʼs Grace from Elena and knew the three elements of wisdom and some secrets of Mythical Blood.

Since receiving the Art of Godʼs Grace, it had not simply stored it away. It had studied the art well.

The Feathered Serpent immediately became serious.

It carefully examined the patientʼs body, observing the changes occurring deep within him.

It immediately discovered something.

Though the creator had used the three elements of wisdom to create ghouls, it was not the core Art of Godʼs Grace used to produce Godʼs Grace Stones.

Instead, it was a crude, forceful mixing of spirit, seal imprints, and divine blood.

”I knew something was wrong.”

”I knew ordinary people could not possibly fuse the three elements. Someone has forced a strange, activated spirit seal imprint into their Mythical Blood, turning them into this.”

”Why would they do this? What are they trying to accomplish?”

The Feathered Serpent had inherited the spirituality origin power from the Lord of Radiance, allowing it to sense the most fundamental power within wisdom species. Under its gaze, the essence of the plague was clearly visible.

Long listened intently to the Feathered Serpent before speaking up.

”So, someone is behind this. This plague is not just some random supernatural accident. It is deliberate, isnʼt it?”

He paused, then asked, ”Mr. Feathered Serpent, can you help him?”

The Feathered Serpent prepared itself, then began using its divine techniques.

A powerful white light enveloped the entire house.

It influenced the young manʼs body from the origin of his spirituality, affecting the most fundamental power of a wisdom species. Then, it expelled the strange seal imprint that was continuously eroding him.

The Feathered Serpent squeezed out that seal imprint, which, having lost its anchor of divine blood and spirit, dissipated in the blink of an eye.

The Feathered Serpent sensed the power of that gray seal imprint but dared not touch it.

Behind this thing, there seemed to be something even more terrifying, a power originating from the depths of the Dream Realm.

”What is this thing?”

”It looks like a seal imprint, but seal imprints are supposed to be external manifestations of law, not like this.”

The Feathered Serpent looked at Long, remembering the term he had mentioned earlier.

”A curse,” the Feathered Serpent said thoughtfully. ”If we use that term to describe it, it seems quite fitting.”

As soon as it spoke, the infected young man woke up.

Though still weak, he was no longer delirious, and his condition had clearly improved.

”Heʼs better!”

”Heʼs really better!”

Long watched in astonishment as the Feathered Serpent cleared the ”plague” from the patientʼs body with a single divine technique.

He had originally brought the Feathered Serpent just to observe and understand the situation. He was preparing for various demands and complications before they could finally deal with this thorny plague.

Yet, unexpectedly, the other had simply waved a hand and solved it directly?

”Is it that simple?”

Long looked at the Feathered Serpent, a life form unlike anything he had ever encountered. It possessed a power that seemed beyond imagination.

Though it seemed simple, this power originated from the source of mythology, one of the four branches of spirituality, wisdom, desire, and knowledge.

Actually, Witch Spirit power was equally miraculous, belonging to one of the four branches.

For others, it was also an unimaginably powerful force, but Long, having been around Witch Spirits regularly, no longer found it remarkable.

The young manʼs family exclaimed in surprise, kneeling by the bed in excitement.

”Heʼs alive,” the mother whispered, holding her sonʼs face as tears streamed down her cheeks. ”I told you all there had to be a way. The Witch Spirit master has saved him!” She then turned to the two men, her voice trembling with gratitude. ”Thank you. Thank you both. My son is alive because of you.”

”Sirs, thank you so much for saving my son.” The father standing nearby immediately prostrated himself on the ground.

He looked at Long and said again and again,

”Thank the God of Knowledge and Truth.”

”Praise be to the God of Knowledge and Truth.”

”You sent your messengers to save our family.”

Long was familiar with the people on this street. He had been here with Kiton before and had come back frequently since then.

Long helped the two up, visibly delighted.

But amid his joy, his concern grew stronger.

He immediately gathered people to control the situation on the street, mainly to prevent the Feathered Serpentʼs healing abilities from being leaked.

If the plague was man-made, the mastermind behind it had to be someone extraordinary.

They could not afford to let word of this situation spread. The other side must not find out they had discovered a cure for the ”plague.”

After taking control of this remote street, Long allowed the Feathered Serpent to continue healing other patients while also working to gain a deeper understanding of the nature of this ”plague.”

The Feathered Serpent set up a room.

It brought in those infected with the disease for concentrated treatment.

Long and two other Witch Spirits searched the street for infected people, bringing them over one by one.

Halfway through, a patient who had just been brought in suddenly went berserk. He lunged at Long and two civilians, his movements wild and aggressive.

Long restrained the frenzied infected person, but he soon died in his frenzy.

The Feathered Serpent heard the commotion from the room and sent its puppet outside. It arrived just in time to see the chaos and the infected person lying on the ground.

The person looked like a rigid statue, with grayish-white skin, as if covered with a layer of plaster or growing some special keratin.

Long sighed and shook his head. ”Itʼs a shame. Heʼs gone.”

The Feathered Serpent said, ”He is not dead.”

Long stepped forward to check again, ”Heʼs clearly dead.”

The Feathered Serpent shook its head. ”His body is dead, or it has undergone some strange transformation. His consciousness, however, is trapped in his brain.”

”But he is beyond saving now. That power has completely eroded the spirituality in his brain and has fully merged with his body.”

”If I expelled that power from his body, he would simply become a corpse.”

As the Feathered Serpent spoke, it looked into the room.

”I have examined all the infected people, and there is something strange. They are all young and middle-aged men and women.”

”If this were truly a disease, should it not target the weaker elderly and children?”

”I feel that rather than spreading a disease, this seems more like selecting suitable targets.”

When Long heard this, his expression changed immediately.

He began to see the shape of a huge conspiracy.

The Feathered Serpent stepped forward, manipulating the seemingly dead corpse.

Before long, the corpse began to convulse, its movements jerky and unnatural.

The Feathered Serpent had released the consciousness imprisoned in the brain, reactivating him.

Soon, the corpse came back to life. It transformed from a dead man into a frenzied living corpse and began attacking everyone, frightening them into backing away.

”What is going on?”

”Wasnʼt he dead?”

”This is terrifying... why does he look bigger now?”

Even Long was scared, not by the creatureʼs power, but by witnessing a clearly dead person come back to life.

This defied logic even for Ability Users.

”What is this?”

”A dead person... coming back to life?”

”What exactly is this thing?”

The living corpse seemed completely transformed, losing all human appearance, drool dripping from its mouth.

Its eyes were filled with blood vessels, appearing completely red.

It looked at everyone present, radiating a strong desire to devour that drove it to attack the living.

It seemed able to sense the fragrance emanating from these wisdom species. The plague blood curse in its body craved to devour their flesh and steal their power.

”Hungry... hungry...”

”Eat, eat, eat, Iʼll eat you all... eat...”

Then, the horrifying, chaotic mutterings completely transformed into meaningless roars, like those of a hungry beast.

Long stood frozen in place.

He seemed to witness the evil of this world, the filthiest and most hideous thing crawling from the quagmire of evil thoughts.

Watching the monster charge toward him, Long suddenly made a decision.

The Book of the Witch Spirit in his hand opened, gathering light that severed the monsterʼs head.

The monster fell at Longʼs feet, its head rolling to the ground.

Long stood in the street, suddenly understanding something.

”They are using the plague to select suitable targets, then turning them into these monsters.”

Long felt he had truly found the problem and understood its many aspects.

At this moment, other Witch Spirits rushed over, and Long asked one of them.

”How many people are infected with this plague now?”

The person replied, ”We do not know the exact number, but all told, there must be several thousand by now?”

Long thought for a moment, and his mind immediately went to one place.

”Something must be wrong with Sueroʼs Medical Fortress.”

If they wanted to create such monsters, their goal would naturally be to recover these monsters in the end.

If Sueroʼs Medical Fortress truly did as they claimed, burning all plague victims after death, would that not mean all their effort in creating this plague was wasted?

There had to be a problem with Sueroʼs Medical Fortress. Someone must be collecting the monsters that the dead infected eventually became.

A nearby Witch Spirit asked Long, ”Should we surround Sueroʼs Medical Fortress immediately?”

Although Long had been acting head of the Contract Lawyer Guild for only a short time, he had experienced much and was no longer as reckless as before.

This was especially true after Kitonʼs death. His teacher, Sukob, had also been away during this period.

Long had clearly matured.

This was a stage every young person must go through, maturing through loss, growing through independence.

”Weʼre not the ones in charge of Mooneclipse City. What gives us the right to just surround Sueroʼs Medical Fortress?”

”Only the Executive Officer or the sheriff can make that call. Weʼre just citizens here.”

”Besides, we canʼt risk tipping them off. They probably donʼt even know how many of these monsters theyʼve made or where theyʼre hiding.”

”And we still donʼt know whoʼs really behind this. If we rush in, we might let the real mastermind slip away. Whoeverʼs capable of creating these monsters and spreading a plague like this...”

”If we donʼt take them out completely, we could end up with an even bigger mess on our hands.”

After saying this, Long looked at the Feathered Serpentʼs Seal Puppet.

”Mr. Feathered Serpent, we really appreciate everything youʼve done.”

”My teacher, Sukob, will be back soon. I would like to introduce you to him so we can properly thank you for your help.”

The Feathered Serpentʼs tone changed after hearing the name. ”Apostle Sukob of the God of Knowledge and Truth?”

”Once the master of the wilderness?”

Long smiled slightly and said, ”Thatʼs right.”

The Contract Lawyer Guild was closed today for a day of rest.

In the main hall stood the statue of the God of Knowledge and Truth, which suddenly began to glow.

The shadow of a mythological gate faintly appeared.

A beam of light shot down, and Sukobʼs figure appeared in the hall.

The moment he appeared, countless words gathered around him, as if he himself was composed of words.

He appeared to be the embodiment of words, his presence representing the power of words and order.

This was not Sukobʼs true form. It was still only one of Sukobʼs divine contract spirits.

All the Witch Spirits began to bow.

”Teacher!”

”Lord Sukob!”

Sukobʼs gaze swept over everyone present, noticing the missing figure, a hint of sadness in his eyes.

”What a pity.”

”In the end, Kiton did not even enter the Kingdom of God.”

For a servant of the divine, this was perhaps the greatest regret, greater even than the regret of death.

Sorrow filled everyone present, and they lowered their heads.

After returning, Sukob immediately began arranging tasks.

Some were assigned to establish schools, others transferred from the Contract Lawyer Guild to become instructors at the Contract School.

”I am just outside the city now, but news of my return cannot be spread for the time being.”

”Outside the city, there are some new Witch Spirit apprentices who have joined us, along with some potential recruits I have selected. Send someone to bring them back.”

”They will be important members of the school we are establishing, and our future.”

Sukobʼs journey to seek the future for Contract Lawyers had yielded very important results.

Sukob dismissed everyone and walked toward the Contract Guild presidentʼs office.

”Teacher...”

On the way, Long wanted to say something, but Sukob interrupted him.

”I already know everything you have told me.”

”No matter who it is, since they have let us know their plan in advance, failure is their only path.”

Sukob looked at Long and offered his praise.

”You have handled this situation very well. Your caution and attention to detail were exactly what was needed.”

”Someone who understands the power of the three elements, who knows such dark and strange divine techniques, and who can spread a plague on this scale, is likely an Apostle-ranked existence.”

”If you had acted rashly or spread the news, you would only have alerted them.”

”If a likely Apostle-ranked existence escapes after receiving news, or completely hides in the shadows, that would be an extremely difficult and terrible enemy.”

”I have explained this matter to the Earth Witch, and the Snake Deity Temple will fully cooperate with us.”

”They will not dare refuse to listen to the Earth Witch like they did with you before.”

”Tomorrow I will meet with the High Executive Officer of the Royal Court to report this situation. We will discuss specific arrangements after I return.”

Long nodded. ”I understand, Teacher.”

Sukob pushed open the wooden door to the presidentʼs office, where someone was already waiting for him.

It was a Seal Puppet, but different from ordinary Seal Puppets, emanating an aura from the origin of power.

Sukob could sense its strength, definitely not comparable to an ordinary Third-Rank Ability User.

After all, this was the new body the Original Sin Evil God had once prepared for itself.

Sukob saw the other party. His expression was not as serious as it was with his students, nor did he carry the air of a high and mighty Apostle. Instead, he appeared more like a gentle, refined scholar.

”Mr. Feathered Serpent, hello.”

The Feathered Serpent gave a slight nod. ”I have heard of you, Apostle Sukob.”

The Feathered Serpent had not expected to encounter this Apostle. Besides divine beings, few in the mortal world possessed a nobler status and more powerful strength than this Apostle.

Sukob invited the other to sit down, engaging in conversation as equals.

”Thank you very much for your help, but this plague is not over yet. Many people in the city still await assistance.”

”Though it is very presumptuous, we would like to ask you to stay a while longer. We need your help.”

”Of course, if you have any requests, you can let us know.”

”We always treat our friends with sincerity.”

The Feathered Serpent paused for a moment, considering its options.

There was something it needed assistance with from this Apostle. It had acquired the Art of Godʼs Grace some time ago, but it had been unable to use it directly.

Not because there was anything wrong with it. With the change of eras, the life forms of Snake People, Winged People, and professions like Witch Spirits, Alchemists, and Sky Messengers had undergone earth-shattering changes compared to the previous era.

But before it stood a true Apostle. This was an Apostle of this era.

It was also someone who happened to owe it a favor.

The Feathered Serpent respected rules but was not rigid or foolish, immediately seizing this opportunity.

”Apostle Sukob, I have a question that I truly need your help answering.”

The Feathered Serpent did not hide anything and told its story.

”I was once a guard at the mayorʼs mansion in Maya City of Suinhor, serving Lady Shana.”

”Apostle Sukob, I wonder if you know of the disaster that occurred in Maya City years ago.”

The Feathered Serpentʼs voice sounded somewhat weathered.

”A mythological gate descended from the sky, blood-colored flowers covered the earth, and divine beings waged war there.”

”And under the power of the Original Sin Evil God, I transformed into this form.”

Sukob suddenly froze.

He did not just know about it. He had been present at that War of the Divine Beings as a Divine Blessed One of the God of Knowledge and Truth. He had even served as the vessel for that deityʼs descent into the mortal world.

He had accepted the divine mission. For many years, he searched tirelessly, uncovering the Original Sin Evil Godʼs plan that spanned two hundred and fifty million years. He discovered the Shana family, a Divine Artifact that believed itself to be human.

He still remembered the incomparable shock in his heart, unable to imagine how a group of people could inherit a mission and promise for millions of years, determined to fulfill it even across eons.

It was also because he found Shana that Xiao, the God of Original Sin, fell from the divine position of Lord of Radiance into the Abyss.

In that momentous event, he was indeed a central figure.

”Shana.”

”What a nostalgic name!”

Sukob spoke with emotion, looking at the Feathered Serpent with wonder.

He never imagined the other would be a survivor from that time.

The Feathered Serpent marveled, ”You knew Mayor Shana?”

Sukob nodded. ”I knew of her, though we did not know each other personally.”

Long was also extremely shocked. ”Mr. Feathered Serpent.”

”So you really were once human.”

For Snake People, the concept of ”human” referred to themselves.

Of course, the Winged People, another species created by the Life Sovereign, could also be called human.

The Feathered Serpent nodded and continued with its story of traveling to the Endless Desert and Abyss Royal City, and how Lady Elena had given it the Art of Godʼs Grace.

Finally, it asked Sukob, ”Though I received the Art of Godʼs Grace, I do not know how to use it.”

”Apostle Sukob, I hope you can guide me.”

Headquarters of the Cannibal Cult

In the underground cavern, the once vast space had been transformed into what resembled an underground city. It was now fully utilized, housing numerous non-human beings and groups of sinister Cannibal Cult members who gathered in clusters.

After becoming the Son of Gluttony, Suero no longer worried about divine blood backlash or falling into madness.

During this time, no one could determine the exact number of ghouls he had created.

His efficiency matched his madness.

Once he set a goal, he worked tirelessly to achieve it.

Currently, just in this underground cavern, the number of ghouls had reached two thousand. If organized into an army, led by First-Rank ghouls and intelligent Second-Rank ghouls, it would be a terrifyingly powerful force.

No force other than a well-trained Alchemy Corps could possibly match these supernatural, fearless monsters.

Evil flames burned on the high altar platform.

Two figures stood beneath the flames, their appearances unclear in the backlighting.

Below were numerous Cannibal Cult members and densely packed monsters.

The monsters prostrated themselves, while the Cannibal Cult members feared the two powerful and insane beings above.

”First Seat Lord.”

”Second Seat Lord.”

These were the titles of the two. They always wore masks and concealed themselves thoroughly with cloaks.

Their identical cold gazes and chilling demeanors sent shivers down everyoneʼs spine.

They were none other than Suero and Akmanmon.

These two had undergone a complete transformation. They now commanded the loyalty of numerous evil followers.

Their influence extended to controlling a vast number of ghouls, capable of forming a formidable army.

They truly had the appearance of evil force leaders.

Sueroʼs voice came from the flaming altar. ”Seal the entire underground cavern today. No one enters or leaves without my order.”

Akmanmon looked at the Cannibal Cult followers. ”Report any emergencies to me, but otherwise do not disturb me or the First Seat.”

The two were preparing for something very important.

Suero was preparing to break through to become an Apostle, the first step to becoming the King of Gluttony of the Abyss.

The powerful Godʼs Apostle was just the first step to the throne. Apostles, who seemed like divine beings to mortals, were mere consumables in the eyes of the Original Sin Evil God.

Naturally, beings who depended on the gifts of Evil Gods and stole divine blood from others to ascend to the Apostle position faced only two possible outcomes.

Either become part of the Abyss, this Sequence Number 3 Divine Artifact, or completely dissipate in madness, unlike ordinary divine Apostles who had more possibilities or retreats.

For Suero, there was only one path.

Move forward and live. Step back and face death.

The flame altar itself was a massive ritual array. Many First-Rank ghouls and several Second-Rank ghouls stood at various nodes, helping Suero ascend to the Apostle position and glimpse the throne of the King of Gluttony.

In Sueroʼs hand was a book.

《Abyss Art of Godʼs Grace》

The Art of Godʼs Grace modified by the Original Sin Evil God.

The Art of Godʼs Grace was conceived by Sandean, the first Sage of Truth, and completed by Lan, the second Sage of Truth.

As Lanʼs student, Xiao naturally understood the essence of the Art of Godʼs Grace beyond ordinary Temple of Truth apprentices. Modifying it posed no difficulty for him.

Akmanmonʼs eyes fell on the book. ”The Art of Godʼs Grace.”

”Did the God of Original Sin give this to you?”

”No wonder you ultimately chose the Abyss.”

Suero laughed. ”Choice?”

”Second Seat, there are no choices in life. No one in this world gives you the opportunity to choose.”

”So-called choices are just deciding between losing everything or fighting to the death.”

”We can only break through rules again and again when faced with no choice.”

”Only rule-breakers, only those unbound, can achieve victory in a world without choices.”

Suero had shown Akmanmon the Art of Godʼs Grace before. He was always generous.

But when he felt you were no longer useful, you would experience his ruthless cruelty.

Of course, this was partly because he needed Akmanmonʼs help to conduct the ritual in a precise manner.

It was also partly because he believed that by the time Akmanmon needed to use the Art of Godʼs Grace, he would already be in the Abyss.

Suero and Akmanmon adjusted the ritual array together, with Sueroʼs greatest hesitation being the choice of seal imprint.

Akmanmon asked, ”Why do we have to choose these ordinary seal imprints? Can we not consider something different instead?”

”For example, the Plague Blood Curse.”

Suero replied without hesitation, ”Would that not be suicide?”

”We are not even sure if the Plague Blood Curse is actually a seal imprint, neither you nor I.”

Akmanmon said, ”Did you not say seal imprints are extensions of the Power of Law? And law is not created by anyone. It is something that already exists in this world, is it not?”

”Then curses should also be a type of law.”

”If you use the Plague Blood Curse as the seal imprint, you could become the true master of the Plague Blood Curse, with all ghouls infected by it under your control.”

”You would be the master of all ghouls.”

Akmanmon recalled details about the Art of Godʼs Grace and Apostle powers he had discussed with Suero.

”Moreover, Fourth-Rank Apostles possess Mental Domains, the most powerful force of Apostles, a vast domain formed by the convergence of seal imprints, spirit, and divine blood.”

”You control the Plague Blood Curse.”

”Your Mental Domain would resonate with the Plague Blood Curse in all ghouls, forming an incredibly powerful Mental Domain, a naturally formed ritual array.”

Akmanmon spoke in a calm tone about ideas that stirred the blood and excited the heart.

”At that time, in this domain, you would possess unimaginably powerful strength.”

”No one could defeat you.”

Suero froze. Though he spoke of breaking rules and overcoming constraints and boundaries.

At this moment, he realized something.

He too seemed to be constrained by certain boundaries that limited his vision.

This was natural, considering it was something bestowed by the messenger of the Original Sin Evil God, imaginably traceable directly to the divine.

Suero naturally wanted to follow every detail precisely, not daring to make any mistakes.

Yet Akmanmonʼs first thought was to modify the divine-bestowed divine technique.

What was this guy thinking?

Was he questioning divine power, thinking himself smarter than a god?

However, Suero found Akmanmonʼs breakthrough approach highly insightful and perfectly suited to him.

He had created ghouls and would eventually become the King of Ghouls, possessing control over all ghouls, gaining unimaginably powerful enhancements through the Plague Blood Curse and Curse Power.

”It seems... we could try.”

Becoming an Apostle involved several steps, and both fusing with seal imprints and the final crystallization of Godʼs Grace Stone could be attempted.

Suero looked at Akmanmon and said, ”Second Seat, even though you have only been an Ability User for a short time, you always come up with some bold and imaginative ideas.”

”It seems your later start as an Ability User is actually a good thing, not constraining your thoughts.”

”This is good.”

Akmanmon had read many books since childhood. Though he lacked talent as an Ability User, he had read much about supernatural knowledge.

He could not practice, but he always imagined what he would do.

If it were him, how would he approach it?

Perhaps because of this, he could propose ideas that others would not dare to think of, seemingly boundlessly insane.

Perhaps also because of this, Suero believed they were two similar people.

At least in those insane ideas.
