I am God LSLCCF

Chapter 293: The Abyss Covenant

The skeletal legion followed Yafuan as they withdrew from Fallen Angel Meldeʼs domain, returning to the fiery ground of the Second Layer.

”Whoosh! Whoosh!”

The Skeletal Flying Dragon flapped its wings, stirring up violent gusts of wind.

The First Layer of the Abyss closed, its power continuously dissipating outward, repelling the entire skeletal monster army.

Bone Demon King Yafuan gazed at the rising Gate of Spirituality as it gradually vanished from the mortal world.

The flames of pride danced in his eyes, for it was the mythic power he pursued and desired.

”The mythic gate... what a pity!”

But in the blink of an eye, his tone changed.

”One day I will surpass you, surpass all existences.”

The Abyss underwent dramatic changes as layer upon layer of bizarre black clouds gathered from all directions.
Black rain fell within the Abyss.

A terrifying shadow appeared above the dark clouds.

Twisting, it writhed toward the outside.

The will of the Abyss suddenly appeared, descending directly into Yafuanʼs layer of the Abyss.

The black rain fell, merging with Yafuanʼs demon-fire Abyss.

The original Second Layer of the Abyss began to expand, gaining higher authority.

Yafuanʼs rank in the Abyss instantly rose from master of the Second Layer to master of the First Layer.

He now possessed the highest authority of the Abyss. His demon-fire Abyss could accommodate more skeletal monsters, and as master of the First Layer, he could create an even larger monster army.

More and more skeletal monsters burrowed out from the earth, and thousands upon thousands of Eagle Demons, Snake Demons, and even Wing Demons flew back into the Abyss from the outside world, all joining Yafuanʼs legion.

Within the flames of the Demon Spirit Fire, these monsters underwent transformation.

The monsters gained wisdom and learned language.

This knowledge was transmitted through the demon fire.

”Abyss King!”

”Abyss King!”

”Abyss King!”

”...”

The skeletal monster army raised their arms and cheered. Ten thousand monsters prostrated themselves on the ground.

Even the Wing Demons, once at the top of the food chain, bowed low, their wings flat against the ground, their heads touching the earth.

Bone Demon King Yafuan stood high above, extending his hand to receive the gift from the will of the Abyss.

Then he spread his arms wide, bathing in the black rain.

In this moment, he felt like a true king, as if the entire world celebrated him.

From here, he would truly embark on the path to become a divine being.

”I have done it.”

”I am the true Abyss King.”

”I am the ultimate victor.”

The Bone Demon King rode his Skeletal Flying Dragon, receiving the worship of all monsters.

He landed in his black stone palace, stepping down from the Skeletal Flying Dragon.

Walking toward his skeletal throne, he passed fire pillars that ignited one after another within the palace. Beneath these pillars knelt Bone Demons, the Avel people who had fallen alongside him.

The Bone Demon King walked past them, his eyes fixed only on his throne.

At this moment, high above the Abyss, the being merged with the moonʼs shadow activated the ancient divine technique again, tightening its control over Bone Demon King Yafuan.

Nia watched Duma take Meldeʼs Gate of Spirituality and saw Melde fall into deep slumber.

She watched Bone Demon King Yafuan become the true controller of the Abyss, possessing the highest authority.

She knew the time was ripe.

She stepped out from the moonlight, the light gradually condensing to form a Moon Witch with moon-white hair.

She held a stone, using it to synchronize her vision with Bone Demon King Yafuan and see everything he saw.

”Yafuan! Activate the Crown of Wisdom Covenant.”

”Make your final vow!”

In Niaʼs hand, the Knowledge Stone was dissolving like mercury, then gradually evaporating into nothing.

Meanwhile, the Bone Demon King, walking through his black stone palace toward his throne, suddenly felt dizzy as fragments of memories and images appeared in his mind.

At the same time, he also heard Niaʼs voice.

He finally recalled some forgotten things and understood why he had suddenly launched the Abyss war, why he had charged into Meldeʼs black mud Abyss as if he had lost his mind.

”This is wrong!”

”Wrong... wrong... wrong...”

”Everything is wrong.”

”Someone has been controlling me.”

A large segment of memory flooded into Bone Demon King Yafuanʼs mind, and he remembered more things.

”I remember now!”

”This is...”

”The Abyss Sealing Project.”

Nia controlled the Bone Demon King using the Knowledge Stoneʼs backdoor and the Divine Technique: Realm of Illusion. However, the stone originally belonged to Yafuan. Through their synchronization, its memories and power rapidly returned to him.

It would not be long before the power of the Knowledge Stone was depleted.

However, it was enough to establish the covenant.

Although Bone Demon King Yafuan momentarily broke free from control and even recalled the Abyss Sealing Project, it was to no avail.

Nia spoke to the Bone Demon King through the Knowledge Stone, urging him to act immediately.

”Yafuan! Only one last step remains.”

”Just one more step, and we will succeed.”

The Bone Demon King wanted to curse loudly. What success? He did not want this kind of success.

He was the master of the Abyss, not a puppet manipulated at will.

Even if the one manipulating him was once himself.

”Damn it...”

”Damn it...”

”Damn...”

After just three utterances, he again forgot everything.

He regained control of his body, though he had originally intended to sit on the throne and give orders, feeling the glory of being the Abyss King.

But now he could only turn around.

The Bone Demon Kingʼs proud, cold gaze swept across his demon-fire Abyss. Then, using his Abyss authority, he summoned all Abyss races to activate an ancient ritual.

This ritual required no array, because the entire Abyss was the ritual array.

No runes needed to be inscribed, because every Abyss creature served as a rune within the ritual array.

It was an ancient ritual, or rather a vow, born from the connection between wisdom races and their origins.

”As master of the Abyss, with the will of the demon-fire Abyss King.”

”I make this vow to the supreme will of wisdom, the crown that rules all wisdom races.”

”Unsurpassed will that protects and guides all wisdom races!”

”Please respond to my plea.”

Thousands upon thousands of monsters prostrated themselves on the ground, becoming part of this ancient and vast ritual.

The Demon Spirit Fire flickered in their eyes as their voices spoke in unison.

”Unsurpassed will that protects and guides all wisdom races!”

”Please respond to my plea.”

The Abyss shook.

The plea of the entire Abyss race, through the call of spirituality and the Dream Realm, arrived in another world.

In the Creatorʼs Domain, the spirit stood by the window of the pyramid temple.

She heard the voices of ten thousand souls calling from across the sea of stars.

Dream Sovereign Hilaʼs eyes showed a hint of sadness and loss.

Mortals were so powerless before fate, yet their struggle against destiny moved her.

”God! He really did it.”

Hila turned her head to gaze at Yin Shen sitting on the chair, her eyes shifting slightly as if hoping the Creator would answer the call.

Yin Shen looked at Hila and after a long while said.

”This third covenant.”

”Perhaps long after, it will also become the final testimony for all life in this era!”

Hearing Yin Shenʼs answer, Hila knew that Yinsai had agreed.

She moved closer to Yin Shen. ”At least they existed, and fought for their destiny.”

Her words echoed what Yafuan had once said.

The birth and extinction of races, to an eternal deity like the Creator, happened in the blink of an eye.

This so-called eternal covenant only held meaning for truly divine beings.

No race could withstand the erosion of time. In the end, this covenant would become but a casual stroke on the eternal deityʼs ring, a mere footnote.

In the mortal world, the cold, dark night suddenly grew brighter.

A silver-white light descended from the sky, spreading across the entire earth.

It was the origin Divine Artifact of the Wisdom Ability, the source of all wisdom races.

The shadow of the Crown of Wisdom appeared above the world.

Nia could not help but reach for 【The Book of Xiuborn】 in her bosom, calling out its true name.

”Godʼs Moon!”

”Crown of Wisdom!”

That light came from the Avel Peninsula of the New Continent. It swept across the entire peninsula and crossed the terrifying Storm Sea before finally reaching Ruhe Beast Island.

Snake People on the Avel Peninsula and Ruhe Beast Island, Winged People crossing the Desert of the Fallen Sun, and those who had already reached their new homeland all looked up at the sky.

A second moon appeared in the sky.

In the Desert of the Fallen Sun, unceasing storms raged, and the nights were freezing cold.

The Winged People gathered around campfires, and the sudden light made them think dawn had arrived.

”Is it morning already?” A Winged Person frozen with cold looked toward the distance, hope in his eyes.

”Look quickly, what is that?” Seeing what actually emitted the light, all the Winged People were dumbfounded.

”Is it the moon?” They had never seen such a moon before.

”What... what is that over there?” Someone pointed at the real moon and asked.

The Avel people on the peninsula also stood up one after another. Though they did not know what was happening, when they saw the silver moon, they felt an incomparable sense of security.

On Moonlight Island, King Sidi of Avel had been awake all night. When he saw the second moon appear in the sky, he immediately rushed outside.

He looked at the silver moon in the sky and could not help but shed tears.

”It worked.”

”It really... worked.”

The moonlight continued to advance.

It startled the fishing boats near Ruhe Beast Island, and finally descended upon Suinhor City-State.

Chaos erupted within the city-state, as nobles and ministers thought some natural disaster or omen had occurred.

The divine servants from various temples also did not understand what was happening and could only record this mythical miracle in their historical texts.

And in the Blood Kingdom of the deep sea, a demigod looked up and instantly saw the true nature of the silver moon.

The moment she understood, she immediately lowered her head, not daring to look again.

The red-haired demigod uttered in astonishment: ”The Crown of Wisdom?”

Two figures beneath the flesh throne also looked up, but Blood Progenitor Vivien immediately made those beside her lower their heads.

”Do not look!”

”That is the supreme Divine Artifact.”

For ordinary people, what they saw was merely a silver moon.

However, the more powerful one was, the closer to the origin and the stronger in spirituality, the easier it became to see something beyond imagination in Godʼs Moon, thus approaching danger infinitely.

In the Sky Miracle Garden of the Sunrise Mountains, God of Alchemy and Desire Iva walked into the Garden of the Cup of Desire and gazed at the sky through the flowers.

”Yinsai... descending to the mortal world?”

”Or...?”

After speaking, he closed the sky of the Miracle Garden lest the Lamp Spirits in the garden foolishly peer at the silver moon.

Countless people looked up at this mythical miracle, watching the moon from the Creatorʼs Domain appear in the mortal world.

Some were bewildered, others shocked beyond words.

Within the Abyss, the covenant ritual truly began with the descent of Godʼs Moon.

Bone Demon King Yafuan led all Abyss races in bowing to Godʼs Moon to begin the vow.

”Where there is light, there is darkness. Where there is day, there is night.”

”The Abyss is the dark side of the world. The Abyss races feed on the fall of all things and the sins of all spirits, containing all evil and ugliness.”

”We have our reason to exist in this world.”

The Bone Demon King spread his arms, embracing the silver moon in the sky.

”Supreme Crown of Wisdom, unsurpassed will of the Divine King!”

”The Abyss clan makes an eternal vow to You, forming an indelible covenant with the wisdom of all things.”

”We are willing to no longer actively enter the world of mortals, to be rejected and constrained by it, in exchange for the power of mortal original sin and fall, in exchange for our foundation and reason to exist.”

”We will devour all mortal sins, bear all filth, and become the dark side of the world and all spirits.”

Godʼs Moon burst forth with brilliant light, its power connecting the spiritual will of all people, penetrating into everyoneʼs wisdom origin and the depths of their spirituality.

The Abyss Covenant was achieved!

Godʼs Moon slowly rotated.

In its deepest part, the Crown of Wisdom was inscribed with the ancient text created by King Redlichia, marking the covenantʼs completion.

The Abyss truly connected with the power of mortal fall, impurities, and original sins, becoming a place that bore all filth.

For the Abyss, this meant its identity was truly recognized.

For the Abyss races, they henceforth truly became the dark spirits of the world.

And for mortals, the fearsome Abyss would henceforth stay away from them, no longer able to enter the mortal world at will.

And from now on, when the dark side of anyoneʼs heart reached a certain degree, they would be summoned by the Abyss, tempted by it.

The endless power of fall and filth would become food and the foundation of existence for all Abyss races.

In the sky above, the stone in Moon Witch Niaʼs hand gradually melted until only a tiny bit remained.

The cracks appearing on her body also multiplied, spreading across her fair skin.

But a smile appeared on her face: ”Lord Yafuan! We have succeeded.”

The Abyss began to shake violently.

A powerful force pulled the Abyss out from the earth, pushing it upward.

Endless black mud splashed upward, flowing, gathering, and merging together.

Only now could one see the complete form of the Abyss.

Like an open, broken black giant egg.

Yafuan thought the vow ”not to enter the mortal world” was a self-sealing for the Abyss.

But under the will of the Crown of Wisdom, not entering the mortal world was another concept entirely.

The Abyss would leave the physical world, sealed within the boundless Dream Realm.

Moon Witch Nia stood in midair, watching the Abyss gradually separate from the earth and float upward.

She immediately pursued it.

In theory, her task was already complete at this point, but now she wanted to complete a step not included in the plan, a decision entirely her own.

Just as she had once said: ”Lord Yafuan is a hero of Avel, he should not forever be submerged in darkness.”

She softly said, ”I not only want to complete this covenant, but also personally end his endless fall and dark journey.”

The black broken giant egg rose into the sky. All Abyss races could see the outside world through the entrance of the Abyss, watching the sky and sea of clouds grow lower.

Yafuan also saw Niaʼs figure outside through the cracks of the giant egg.

Controlled by an invisible force, he gradually walked to the edge of the Abyss, arriving at the breach of the black giant egg.

The two gazed at each other across the boundary of the Abyss, both slowly ascending toward the sky and sea of clouds.

A Moon Witch covered in wounds, an ugly and evil Bone Demon King.

Her moon-white hair danced in the night sky, her eyes looking at the Bone Demon King with nostalgia, sadness, and resignation.

The flames in the Bone Demon Kingʼs eye sockets revealed confusion.

Finally, light flashed in her eyes, reflecting the shadow of Bone Demon King Yafuan. Using her last authority and exhausting all her power, she activated the Divine Technique: Realm of Illusion one final time.

Moonlight enveloped Bone Demon King Yafuan, completely modifying his consciousness.

”Lord Yafuan! Please kill yourself!”

”Break free from this endless fall and darkness!”

The Bone Demon King looked at Nia and slowly raised his hand.

The Abyss Kings were difficult to kill because they had merged their mythic organs into the Abyss.

They were part of the Abyss itself.

To kill them, one had to severely damage the Abyss itself, revealing the deepest authority.

But there was another way: they could kill themselves.

They could withdraw the power they had once merged into the Abyss, completely destroying their own will.

But whether due to the Knowledge Stoneʼs imminent depletion or the Bone Demon Kingʼs fierce resistance when facing death, this attempt at Divine Technique: Realm of Illusion was not going smoothly.

Even though they were so close, almost face to face as she activated the Divine Technique: Realm of Illusion, Moon Witch Nia could feel the Bone Demon Kingʼs fierce resistance.

”Kuh-kuh-kuh-kuh~”

His entire skeleton was shaking strangely, the flames in his eye sockets gathering and dispersing.

His upper and lower jaws continuously clashed, as if about to unleash a roar at any moment.

Bone Demon King Yafuan slowly extended his hand.

Clusters of dark light appeared at the edge of the Abyss, condensing into something resembling a brain.

He had withdrawn his authority merged within the Abyss, his former mythic organ.

The Bone Demon King grabbed his Abyss authority and mythic organ, seemingly about to destroy it by his own hand.

At this final moment, he froze.

His heart roared in rage, the flames in his eye sockets burning to their limit.

”No!”

”I cannot die here, I cannot die here.”

”How could I die here, I am the master of the Abyss.”

”How could I want to kill myself.”

”This is wrong, this is impossible!”

The Bone Demon King resisted with all his might.

At the same time, the Knowledge Stone in Moon Witch Niaʼs hand was almost completely consumed.

Nia moved at this moment.

She could no longer care about anything else.

She intended to breach the Abyss barrier and enter it, to personally destroy the Bone Demon Kingʼs mythic organ.

She would use the final power of her death to connect with Bone Demon King Yafuanʼs mythic organ, utilizing the conflict between the Life Ability and Wisdom Ability to completely destroy it.

This was the only way she could destroy it.

As for what consequences this would cause, whether it would result in a fate worse than falling into the Abyss, Nia did not know, nor did she care anymore.

She only wanted to destroy the chains binding Yafuan.

However, at this moment, the Bone Demon King had also gradually broken free from the power of Divine Technique: Realm of Illusion, as those obscured memories returned to him.

He understood everything.

”Get away from me!”

Bone Demon King Yafuan immediately reacted, unleashing all the power in his body.

Filled with rage at being manipulated like a puppet, he looked at Moon Witch Nia, who was willing to die to kill him, and spoke in a hoarse voice full of fury and killing intent.

”You lowly woman, disgusting insect.”

”Get away... get away...”

”I will kill you!”

”I will kill you!”

Nia descended with the moonlight, about to breach the barrier and collide with Yafuan.

However, bones materialized from the void, piercing through Niaʼs body and preventing her from advancing further.

Niaʼs form immediately stopped, unable to move forward.

She looked ahead, but the Bone Demon King was avoiding her gaze.

The Bone Demon King was also frightened by this womanʼs madness.

Nia reached out her hand, but saw only the retreating figure of Bone Demon King Yafuan.

She looked at Yafuan, infinite regret on her face.

Finally, Nia heaved a long sigh, her form shattering like porcelain into countless fragments.

”I am sorry!”

Moon Witch Nia completely dissipated.

Clouds flowed past, revealing the moon behind them, and Niaʼs scattered light dust merged completely with the moonlight.

”Hum~ Hum~”

At this moment, a vortex formed in the sea of clouds high above.

It was an entrance to another world.

The vortex swallowed the entire Abyss. The clothing, items, and books left behind after Niaʼs disappearance were also sucked in as the Abyss rose into the Dream Realm.

Among them, a book missing a corner tumbled and opened in the wild wind, revealing ancient and mysterious text and symbols from its pages.

It was 【The Book of Xiuborn】—

The Bone Demon King stood at the edge of the Abyss, watching the entire Abyss fall irresistibly into the Dream Realm.

The covenant had been established, and everything was beyond redemption.

Yet at this moment, he was thinking about something else, something that seemed both amusing and insane to him.

It was what that mad woman had finally said to him as she looked at him.

”I am sorry?”

”What was this woman saying? Had she gone mad?”

Why was she apologizing?

Did she regret trying to kill him?

Was she repenting to the great Bone Demon King?

He walked back, his face bewildered and shaken, and his Skeletal Flying Dragon came to receive him.

He sat atop the Skeletal Flying Dragon.

The Knowledge Stone subsequently synchronized fully with him, its knowledge rising in his mind along with the effects of the Divine Technique: Realm of Illusion.

As he felt those continually returning memories, the Bone Demon King slowly understood why.

The woman before him had desperately wanted to kill him, not out of hatred, but out of love.

She had not apologized because she wanted to kill him, but because she could not.

After understanding everything, the Bone Demon King spoke mockingly.

”Laughable mortal emotions, weak and fragile mortals.”

”Laughable... lowly...”

However, as he spoke, he suddenly felt an unbearable emotion surge within him, so painful it felt as if flames were searing his heart.

Even though he had long lost his heart.

Those mocking words gradually fell away, finally turning to silence.

He said nothing for a long time, until the Skeletal Flying Dragon reached the front of the black stone palace.

All the skeletal guards and monsters knelt, welcoming him.

”King!”

Bone Demon King Yafuan descended from the Skeletal Flying Dragon and, dazed, nearly fell to the ground.

He suddenly became enraged, waving his hand to kill a nearby skeletal guard.

The terrifying Bone Field erupted from his body as dense bones and skeletal hands crawled out from the ground, devouring everything.

In his madness, Bone Demon King Yafuan killed many of his own followers as Demon Spirit Fire escaped from his body, igniting the ground and palace.

All the skeletal monsters looked at their frenzied king in terror, yet could not resist.

They could only kneel on the ground, trembling.

The Bone Demon Kingʼs voice roared in fury, his hoarse voice spreading throughout the entire palace.

”What a joke.”

”I will not be sad.”

”Those shameful memories of the past, those mortal memories, all belong to that lowly Yafuan.”

”I am no longer him, I am stronger than him, my will is more resolute than his, I control my own destiny.”

The Bone Demon King killed one skeletal monster after another, finally stopping.

He looked up and saw that not a single monster remained around him.

Only he remained in the entire palace.

He gazed at the empty palace, finally resting his eyes on his skeletal throne.

He seemed to have finally found an anchor for his emotions, as pride and superiority rose again in his mind.

”Thatʼs right!”

”I am Abyss King Yafuan, I am not that Avel person Yafuan.”

”Hahaha, I will not be sad.”

”I am the god of the Abyss, I am destined to become a god.”

”You are all ants, all lowly insects.”

”Hahahahaha!”

Yafuan stepped forward onto stairways formed by piles of skeletons beneath his feet.

He sat upon his skeletal throne, his gaze directed outside.

He could finally sit on his skeletal throne, feeling his pride, power, and glory as the Abyss King.

And at this moment, the Abyss was completely sealed within the Dream Realm.

Above his head, all the scenes of the mortal world that had once existed beyond the Abyss cracks disappeared with the closing of the Dream Realm entrance.

Only eternal void and darkness remained.
