I, the Villain, Become Invincible the More Descendants I Have

Chapter 15 Subduing Xiao Ya”Let go of me! Emperor Cao Xukun, you lecher!”

Imperial Concubine Xiao Ya exerted all her strength to circulate her Golden Core Stage spiritual energy, trying to shake off Emperor Cao Xukun’s grip, but her wrist was held like an iron hoop, and she couldn’t even struggle free by a hair’s breadth.

She looked up and met Emperor Cao Xukun’s mocking eyes; the playfulness in his gaze was even more piercing than sword energy, making her grit her teeth in anger until they almost shattered, and the hem of her skirt was crumpled from being gripped.

Emperor Cao Xukun slowly released her hand, stepped back twice, and spread his hands: ”Sister, let’s talk nicely; resorting to physical force hurts our harmony.”

”Besides, with your Golden Core Stage cultivation, arguing with me, who is only at the mid-stage of Foundation Establishment, if word gets out, others will think Qingyun Sect has no one left, and it will be seen as bullying the weak and winning unfairly.”

”Winning unfairly? It was you who used underhanded tricks to subdue me first!”

Imperial Concubine Xiao Ya picked up the flowing cloud sword from the ground, pointing the tip directly at the center of Emperor Cao Xukun’s eyebrows, and her Golden Core Stage pressure swept out once again, ”If I don’t tear you to pieces today, I’ll write my name, Imperial Concubine Xiao Ya, backwards!”

As her voice fell, she stepped using the Qingyun Sect’s flowing cloud footwork, her figure turning into a white shadow, and the flowing cloud sword, carrying biting sword energy, struck straight at Emperor Cao Xukun’s heart.

The sword speed was so fast that only an afterimage remained, and wherever the sword energy swept, stone slabs shattered and dust flew.

Emperor Cao Xukun’s eyes narrowed, and he circulated the Chaos Devouring Origin Art, a black Chaos Spiritual Power shield instantly appearing around him.

”Clang!”

The sword energy struck the shield, sparks flying in all directions, only to be instantly swallowed by the shield and converted into pure Chaos Spiritual Power that surged into Emperor Cao Xukun’s body.

”Is that it?” Emperor Cao Xukun raised an eyebrow, flashed his figure to dodge the subsequent sword strikes, and backhanded a palm strike onto Imperial Concubine Xiao Ya’s shoulder and back.

”Bang!”

Imperial Concubine Xiao Ya let out a muffled groan, flew backward, and crashed into the courtyard wall, a trace of blood spilling from the corner of her mouth.

She looked at Emperor Cao Xukun in disbelief: ”Your cultivation technique... can actually devour my spiritual power?”

This was the Qingyun Sect’s trump card, her Golden Core Stage spiritual power, yet it was absorbed by him so easily?

”Small matter, the Chaos Devouring Origin Art is all about devouring everything; your spiritual power is like a buffet, it would be a waste not to eat it.”

Emperor Cao Xukun licked the corner of his lips and walked towards her step by step, ”Three hundred rounds, right? Sister, I’ll play with you to the end.”

Following that, the two fought for three hundred rounds in the Cao family’s martial arts arena.

Imperial Concubine Xiao Ya’s flowing cloud sword technique was peerless and fierce, each strike sealing off his retreat, every move aiming for vital points, and her Golden Core Stage spiritual power was inexhaustible.

But Emperor Cao Xukun was like a bottomless pit; for every sword strike she made, her spiritual power was devoured by a fraction. After less than a hundred rounds, she was running low on spiritual power and her movements slowed by half a beat; after two hundred rounds, her breath was chaotic and her sword technique lost its order; after three hundred rounds concluded, she knelt on the ground, leaning on the flowing cloud sword, her face pale, without even the strength to raise her hand.

”I submit... I submit, okay...” Imperial Concubine Xiao Ya gasped for air, her voice trembling, ”Emperor Cao Xukun, I admit defeat, don’t push me to the brink.”

Emperor Cao Xukun walked up to her, looked down at her from above, reached out to wipe the blood from the corner of her mouth, and said in a playful tone: ”Wouldn’t it have been better to admit defeat earlier? You had to force me to take action. However, killing you would be so boring.”

He bent down, scooped the limp Imperial Concubine Xiao Ya up in his arms, and turned to leave.

”What are you doing?! Let me go!” Imperial Concubine Xiao Ya struggled, but she was powerless and could only watch helplessly as he took her back to his courtyard and locked her in the west side courtyard.

The doors and windows of the side courtyard were tightly closed, with only one small window left open, and exquisite snacks and nourishing soup were placed on the table.

”Emperor Cao Xukun! What kind of skill is it to imprison me? If you have the ability, let me out, and let’s fight again!” Imperial Concubine Xiao Ya pounded on the door, shouting angrily.

Emperor Cao Xukun leaned against the door outside, his voice drifting in slowly: ”Sister, stop shouting; no one will come to save you even if you scream until your throat breaks. I’m not killing you; I just want to have a good talk with you.”

”Talk about what? Talk about how you bullied my brother?” Imperial Concubine Xiao Ya sneered, ”I’m telling you, Emperor Cao Xukun, if you dare to touch a single hair on Young Master Xiao Chen, even if I have to risk my life, I will drag you down to hell with me!”

”Yo, the protective attribute is maxed out.” Emperor Cao Xukun scoffed, pushed the door open and walked in, placing a plate of osmanthus cakes on the table, ”I haven’t touched your brother; he’s probably hiding in the Qingyun Sect right now, and when he hears you came, he’s probably thinking of running away overnight.”

”Stop talking nonsense!” Imperial Concubine Xiao Ya glared at him, but couldn’t help swallowing her saliva.

She was indeed worried about Young Master Xiao Chen, but she couldn’t beat Emperor Cao Xukun, so she could only force herself to maintain her momentum.

Emperor Cao Xukun sat opposite her, picked up a piece of osmanthus cake, took a bite, and said vaguely: ”Sister, I’ll tell you the truth, the grudge between me and Young Master Xiao Chen was started by him first.”

”He crippled my dantian and threw me into the Mass Grave; I’m just getting it back now.”

”Even if he is wrong, it’s not up to an outsider like you to manage it!” Imperial Concubine Xiao Ya stiffened her neck.

”Outsider?” Emperor Cao Xukun raised an eyebrow, ”Su Wanqing is my woman now, and since Su Wanqing is your brother’s former fiancée, by that calculation, I can be considered half a family member.”

”Besides, with your Golden Core Stage cultivation, having delivered yourself to my doorstep, I can’t just let you go back and continue causing me trouble, right?”

He shifted his tone, his voice softening: ”Sister, I know you are protective and care for your brother.”

”I can assure you that as long as Young Master Xiao Chen doesn’t come looking for trouble with me, I will absolutely not harm him in the slightest.”

”In fact, if he wants to return to the Qingyun Sect, I can even help him cover his tracks.”

Imperial Concubine Xiao Ya’s eyes flickered, but she still said coldly: ”You think I’ll believe you? Someone like you is full of bad intentions, and who knows how you’re plotting against Young Master Xiao Chen behind my back.”

”Don’t believe it?” Emperor Cao Xukun pointed to his own chest, ”I have a promise right here.”

”Besides, think about it; you’re locked up here by me now, apart from me, who can bring you food? Who can help you suppress the spiritual power backlash? You can’t just stay hungry forever, right?”

Imperial Concubine Xiao Ya touched her lower abdomen; it was indeed aching faintly, as she had overdrawn her spiritual power too severely during the three-hundred-round battle earlier.

Emperor Cao Xukun struck while the iron was hot, handing over a bowl of bird’s nest soup: ”Sister, drink some soup to nourish yourself.”

”Your protectiveness is a good thing; I happen to like that about you, and in the future, I will protect you too. If anyone dares to bully you, I’ll be the first to not let them off.”

Imperial Concubine Xiao Ya hesitated for a moment, but still took the soup bowl and drank it in small sips.

The soup tasted sweet and clear, sliding down her throat warmly, and the fatigue in her whole body dissipated a little.

Emperor Cao Xukun watched her, the corners of his mouth curling into a smile: ”Sister, you see, we aren’t actually enemies.”

”You help me persuade Young Master Xiao Chen to stop causing me trouble, and I’ll set you free, how about that?”

Imperial Concubine Xiao Ya put down the soup bowl and was silent for a moment.

She knew that what Emperor Cao Xukun said was the truth; in her current state, she couldn’t beat him at all, and fighting hard would only result in her own loss.

Moreover, she was indeed worried about Young Master Xiao Chen’s safety, so if Emperor Cao Xukun really wouldn’t harm Young Master Xiao Chen, then compromising temporarily wasn’t out of the question.

”I can help you persuade him, but you must guarantee that you absolutely will not harm Young Master Xiao Chen.” Imperial Concubine Xiao Ya raised her head, her eyes filled with a trace of vigilance.

”Rest assured, I, Emperor Cao Xukun, keep my word.” Emperor Cao Xukun reached out his hand, ”Deal?”

Imperial Concubine Xiao Ya looked at his hand, hesitated for a long time, and finally shook it gently.

The moment she touched Emperor Cao Xukun’s palm, a system notification suddenly rang in her mind:

[Ding! Detected that the purple luck female, Imperial Concubine Xiao Ya, has increased her favorability towards the host by +30, current favorability: 40!]

[Conquest progress: 10%]

Emperor Cao Xukun was overjoyed, but his face remained calm, and he let go of her hand, saying: ”Sister, just settle down and live here with peace of mind.”

”From now on, this side courtyard is your territory; whatever you want to eat or drink, just tell me.”

”By the way, Su Wanqing is pregnant; if you are bored, I will have her come chat with you.”

”Su Wanqing is pregnant?” Imperial Concubine Xiao Ya was stunned, then snorted coldly, ”She’s lucky.”

Although she said that, she felt somewhat conflicted inside.

This woman, who she had once considered her brother’s fiancée, had actually really ended up with Emperor Cao Xukun and was even pregnant.

Emperor Cao Xukun watched her expression and knew that the conquest had taken its first step.

Next, as long as he slowly wore her down, Imperial Concubine Xiao Ya, this Golden Core Stage protective maniac, would sooner or later completely surrender.

As for Imperial Concubine Xiao Ya, she leaned against the head of the bed, looking at the moonlight outside the window, and secretly swore in her heart: Emperor Cao Xukun, I am compromising temporarily only for Young Master Xiao Chen.

”When I recover my cultivation, I will definitely settle the score with you!”

She just didn’t realize that in her heart, a hint of a different kind of affection had already been quietly planted.
