Starting As a Young Eagle, I Evolve Into an Ice Beast

89: Chapter 89: Unite as One, Defend Our Territory.Just as Xiong Yan wanted to continue advancing, an eagle’s cry echoed through the clouds and spread across the entire Far East Region: ”Do not worry about me, you only need to... unite as one and defend the territory!”

Hearing this, Xiong Yan and the many Savage Bears were stunned, never expecting that Bai Xuan was still alive.

And he was even... thinking of them, not letting them go to their deaths in vain.

After a moment of silence, Xiong Yan bowed his head: ”As you command.”

Then he turned his head to look at the Savage Bear ferocious beasts that had already retreated to the foot of the mountain and shouted: ”Listen to the Eagle King’s words, everyone retreat!”

Even if they stayed, they wouldn’t be of much use, so they might as well retreat, unite as one, and protect the regional forest they depended on for survival.

At this moment, the Savage Bear Clan completely accepted and submitted to Bai Xuan, obeying his every command, acknowledging only Bai Xuan as their Beast King for life: ”As you command.”

Bai Xuan not only let them leave but also spread his words across the entire Far East Region, urging the ferocious beasts to unite and protect their home; this deeply moved the Savage Bear Clan and Xiong Yan.

In such a critical moment, the Eagle King was actually still considering their future.

The Savage Bear Clan retreated one after another, and the ferocious beasts in the entire Far East Region that had submitted to Bai Xuan responded with shouts, roars, and howls.

Meanwhile, the top of the snowy mountain had been blasted beyond recognition, forming a sea of fire that raged on, which even the heavy snow could not extinguish.

A pale blue light appeared in the sea of fire; it was Bai Xuan, who was advancing in rank. His body was uninjured, shielded by a giant ice protective barrier that resisted the flames and explosions, leaving him without even the slightest harm.

It would still take a month or two to complete the advancement. During this time, Bai Xuan was very passive. The Fifth Rank was a huge chasm, a threshold, and an important watershed.

Once he advanced to the Fifth Rank, his strength would reach another level, another realm, which was simply not comparable to the Fourth Rank; in other words, the two were not even in the same league.

Precisely because of this, Bai Xuan would not easily end his advancement; he circulated his spiritual energy to defend himself, and as long as he could survive the next month or two, it would be enough.

”Damn it, they really have no integrity.” They had previously talked about getting along and cooperating, but now they were immediately burning bridges and bombing him with missiles.

Bai Xuan was still composed enough not to order the ferocious beasts to attack human territory. The Bear and Dragon nations must have made full preparations, waiting for the beasts to gather and walk right into a trap. Therefore, Bai Xuan would not order them to attack now; if they were to fight, it would be after he completed his advancement.

Only then would he have the ability to compete with them. Otherwise, it would just be a waste of his hard-earned population. If they failed, they would plummet, or even be completely enslaved by humans.

Then, all of Bai Xuan’s efforts over such a long time would be wasted, a result Bai Xuan absolutely did not want to see.

At the border of the Daxing Mountain Range in the Dragon Nation, a wall three hundred meters high and twenty meters thick had been built, wide enough to construct buildings inside. The human resources consumed were immense, but for the sake of safety and the future, they spared no effort to build the wall in the shortest possible time to defend against the ferocious beasts.

Behind the wall were military buildings, warehouses, hospitals, canteens, martial artist training rooms, and so on.

Fighter jets, bombers, reconnaissance planes, large long-range drones, and runways.

Transport vehicles, tanks, armored vehicles, and so on; there were even parking lots.

”Fu Fu, can you understand what it is saying?” A young girl in a military uniform, petite and cute, with her hair in twin tails, looked sweet and wore round glasses, giving her the feeling of a playful and adorable girl next door.

But do not be deceived by her appearance; she was a Third Rank, Fourth Stage martial artist. Such a powerful expert was among the best in the Dragon Nation.

The Fu Fu the girl spoke of was a giant panda, twenty meters long, sitting on the ground like a small mountain. Its body was round, and it looked very cute, almost enough to make people swoon.

It was holding a spiritual bamboo plant; this type of bamboo was huge, and at maturity, it was similar to a towering tree, just right for a giant panda of this size.

Fu Fu possessed a Third Rank, Third Stage level, with a powerful physique and excellent talent. Having received strong training from the military department, after reaching the Third Rank, it was transferred to the front-line border to deal with the beast tides that could arrive at any time.

After a long silence, Fu Fu wrote a sentence on the ground: ”Do not worry about me, you only need to unite as one and defend the territory.”

Fu Fu could tell that this was not a command, but an instruction and an entrustment.

”If only it could belong to... our camp, how good that would be.” The young girl was named Shi Xiaoyue, serving as a Lieutenant Colonel in the military department. Do not look at her young age; with this kind of strength, she was qualified for this position.

She had not expected Bai Xuan to ultimately say such words; this was completely beyond her expectations. She had assumed Bai Xuan would order an attack on the Dragon Nation to take revenge.

It seemed they had underestimated Bai Xuan. If such an intelligent ferocious beast could belong to their Dragon Nation, how good that would be.

But things had reached this point, and saying more was useless. They had already reached an irreconcilable stage, so they would fight to the end to see who could grow faster and who could have the last laugh.

After a long silence, Fu Fu wiped away the Dragon Nation characters on the ground and wrote another sentence: ”Can humans really not accept them?”

Fu Fu and Shi Xiaoyue communicated mainly by writing. Fu Fu could understand Shi Xiaoyue, but it could not communicate without difficulty; simple words were fine, but it could not express complex ones.

Shi Xiaoyue looked at Fu Fu’s round eyes, which revealed a thirst for knowledge. After a moment of silence, Shi Xiaoyue replied: ”They are, after all, ferocious beasts, and their path runs contrary to that of us humans and spirit beasts. Furthermore, they would not accept our acceptance; after all, we and the ferocious beasts have long been irreconcilable.”

”I do not understand.” Fu Fu shook its head gently and spoke in human language, using non-standard Dragon Nation language that one really wouldn’t understand unless they had spent a long time with Fu Fu.

After all, their vocal cords were different; it was already not easy for Fu Fu to achieve this.

Shi Xiaoyue sighed helplessly: ”Fu Fu, you will understand when you grow up a bit more. Don’t rush, take your time. You just need to know that humans and spirit beasts are your partners and family, while ferocious beasts are the enemy.”

”I know.” After another long silence, Fu Fu finally spoke. ”Ferocious beasts will seize our home, we must protect our home.”

Shi Xiaoyue clenched her fists. With different stances, Shi Xiaoyue had long since stopped caring about who was right or wrong. As long as any ferocious beast threatened the Dragon Nation, it was her enemy. Even if she had to pay with her life, she would block these enemies outside; she would kill as many as came.

”Fu Fu will protect the home.” Fu Fu roared a few times; this was beast language.

”Fu Fu is such a good child.” Shi Xiaoyue rubbed the fur on Fu Fu’s leg, smiling with her eyes curved, looking very cute and sweet.

Hearing Shi Xiaoyue’s praise, Fu Fu also smiled. The previous confusion and misunderstanding vanished like smoke. It lowered its head and rubbed against Shi Xiaoyue.

Shi Xiaoyue smiled and stroked Fu Fu’s round bear face.

This scene was truly a beautiful sight.
