How am I Being a Gigolo When I'm Doing Door-to-door Sales?

12: You want your lover to buy you a car?Lin Chao immediately put on a humble posture.

”This is all thanks to the support of the company’s leaders, a good platform, and good products,” he said, looking at Zhang Wei, then changed the subject, asking tentatively, ”Supervisor, there’s something I’d like to ask your permission for.”

Zhang Wei waved his hand, full of magnanimity: ”Speak! Don’t just say one thing, ten things are fine!”

He added, ”As long as it complies with company regulations.”

Lin Chao immediately nodded: ”Of course! I wouldn’t dare to make things difficult for the supervisor.”

He then smiled slightly: ”It’s like this, I might need to frequently go out for business, serving these major clients.”

”You see, the matter of clocking in and out every day... could it be...”

Before he could finish, Zhang Wei slapped his thigh!

”Consider it done!”

”What kind of trivial matter is that!”

”I’ll report to Manager Li later and apply for an attendance exemption for you! Special cases, special handling!”

He leaned in closer, lowering his voice, his tone full of warmth and flattery: ”Little Lin, your future is bright, you’re going to rise rapidly!”

”Let me tell you, this month, if you sell another thirty massage chairs, or... sell one of our top-tier premium massage beds...”

Zhang Wei pointed to the chair under his buttocks, his eyes full of suggestion.

”Perhaps, my position will soon be yours to sit in!”

He chuckled, rubbing his hands, his face full of ingratiation.

”Later, when you’re eating meat, don’t forget to let your Brother Zhang... have some soup!”

Lin Chao sneered inwardly, but his face was full of sincerity: ”Of course! Supervisor Zhang, I’ll never forget your guidance!”

Did this guy forget how he used to make things difficult for him?

Zhang Wei nodded repeatedly, fully satisfied.

Emerging from the office, Lin Chao didn’t even glance at his workstation, turning directly towards the company entrance.

No need to clock in or out, this feeling was simply exhilarating!

Although he used to go out for business every day, he had to clock in in the morning, and if he couldn’t make it back for clocking out in the evening, he had to write an explanation and apply for a make-up, which was a terrible hassle.

Now, the sea is wide for fish to leap, and the sky is high for birds to fly!

Feeling great!

As Lin Chao walked, he recalled what happened after he returned home last night.

He inserted the pure black bank card Lan Yanran gave him into an ATM, and his whole body went numb when he checked it.

It wasn’t two hundred thousand.

Nor was it four hundred thousand.

It was a full six hundred thousand!

He instantly understood that Lan Yanran had directly prepaid three months of treatment fees, two hundred thousand each month!

This woman had expressed her respect and recognition for his massage skills in the most direct way!

Lin Chao’s heart pounded wildly at the time, and almost immediately, he transferred all six hundred thousand into his own bank card.

Money is safest only when it’s in your own card!

After transferring the six hundred thousand to his card, Lin Chao let out a long breath.

Safe.

He walked out of the company, standing on the bustling street, feeling a bit lost for a moment.

No need to clock in, no need to return to the company, he was now a completely free man.

What to do next?

As soon as this thought emerged, his phone vibrated in his pocket.

It was an SMS from the bank, reminding him that another sum of money had arrived.

It was the sales commission for Zhou Lin’s thirty massage chairs.

One hundred forty thousand!

Looking at the long string of numbers on his phone screen, Lin Chao’s heart once again pounded wildly.

Six hundred thousand in prepayment, one hundred forty thousand in commission, plus the previous orders from Xie Mengya and those rich ladies... his card balance was already approaching eight hundred thousand!

Just then, an old Santana drove past him, its exhaust pipe making a ”putt-putt-putt” sound and spewing out a cloud of black smoke.

Lin Chao subconsciously frowned.

This reminded him of his own equally old used jetta.

It was time to say goodbye to the past.

He took out his phone and hailed a taxi.

”Driver, to the biggest car city in the whole city.”

Half an hour later, Lin Chao stood in front of a resplendent 4S store.

Flying Fox Automobiles.

Although not a top luxury car, it was a brand with an excellent reputation and sales among domestic cars.

He was interested in a top-spec SUV, which would cost around two hundred fifty thousand yuan fully equipped.

Low-key, practical, fitting his current status, and not overly ostentatious.

”Hello, sir, looking at cars?” A female sales associate in a professional skirt suit immediately greeted him enthusiastically.

Lin Chao nodded and walked directly to the black SUV in the center of the showroom.

”This one, tell me about it.”

The female sales associate’s eyes lit up. Seeing Lin Chao’s ordinary attire but direct approach, she knew this might be a straightforward customer.

Just as the female sales associate was eloquently introducing the vehicle’s features, a sharp and familiar voice, like a needle, suddenly pierced Lin Chao’s ears.

”Oh, who do we have here? Isn’t this Lin Chao?”

Lin Chao’s body stiffened slightly, and he slowly turned around.

He saw Wu Ruolan, arm in arm with a slick-haired, powdered young man, looking at him with a face full of mockery.

The man was dressed in designer brands, a gleaming gold watch on his wrist, and his chin was so high it almost touched the sky. It was the so-called Young Master Yang, Yang Feiyue.

Wu Ruolan hadn’t expected to run into Lin Chao here.

She had originally pestered Yang Feiyue to buy her a car, but as soon as she entered, she saw her ex-boyfriend, who brought her nothing but bad luck.

After a brief moment of surprise, her sense of superiority immediately soared!

Wu Ruolan scrutinized Lin Chao up and down, her gaze like she was looking at a stray dog that had wandered into a luxury store.

She spoke in a mocking tone: ”What? Your business has even reached 4S stores?”

”Indeed, those who come here to buy cars are all wealthy people.”

She deliberately puffed out her chest and rubbed against Yang Feiyue’s arm: ”They can certainly afford your several-thousand-yuan massage device.”

”I say, are you trying your luck here, seeing if you can snag a customer?”

Lin Chao looked at her expressionlessly, not saying a word.

Seeing his silence, Wu Ruolan thought she had hit a nerve and felt even more smug.

She scoffed, pointing at Lin Chao: ”Young Master Yang, look at him.”

”If you say a few good words to our Young Master Yang, maybe he’ll be happy, take pity on you, and buy one of your eighteen-thousand-eight-hundred-yuan massage chairs!”

Yang Feiyue put his arm around Wu Ruolan’s waist, his face full of arrogance and disdain.

He looked at Lin Chao through his nostrils, contemptuously spitting out a few words.

”Him?”

”Is he worthy?”

Yang Feiyue took a step forward, looking down at Lin Chao, and extended his shiny polished leather shoe.

”Kid.”

”If you kneel down now and lick my shoe clean.”

”I’ll order ten of your lousy chairs!”

The air seemed to freeze at this moment.

The female sales associate’s expression became somewhat unpleasant, and several other customers looking at cars also cast curious glances.

Lin Chao remained calm, however.

He didn’t even lift an eyelid, as if Yang Feiyue were just a figment of air.

His gaze passed over Yang Feiyue and landed on Wu Ruolan’s exquisitely made-up face.

He spoke slowly, his voice not loud, but it clearly reached everyone’s ears.

”You’re letting this adulterer buy you a car?”

”You!” Wu Ruolan’s face instantly went pale, then flushed crimson!

”Lin Chao! Watch your mouth!”

”What adulterer! What nonsense are you talking about!”
