Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100

Chapter 1513  Importance of the gathering!

Lady Virelia then became slightly more serious as she continued speaking.

”Now, about the reason I called you here.”

She raised two fingers as she explained.

”The first reason is to take you to our ancestral chamber. As the newly appointed Saint of the Black Dragon Clan, you now have the right to enter that place and choose any inheritance technique you wish to practice.”

Max listened attentively as she spoke.

”The second reason,” she continued, ”concerns another matter.”

Lady Virelia looked directly at Max.

”Do you remember Elder Joe who appeared during the grand trial?”

Max nodded immediately.

How could he possibly forget that person.

Elder Joe had appeared in the middle of the trial and had spoken with the seven family heads as if he were their equal. Although the family heads had tried to hide it, Max could clearly sense that they treated Elder Joe with a certain level of caution and respect.

It was obvious that Elder Joeʼs identity was far from ordinary.

”Yes, I remember him,” Max replied. ”He seemed to hold a very important position.”

Lady Virelia nodded slowly when she saw that Max still remembered Elder Joe. Her expression became slightly more serious as she began to explain the matter in greater detail.

”He is an elder of the Violet Star Palace,” she said calmly. ”That force is one of the strongest third rate forces in the entire Divine Realm. Their influence spans across multiple star realms, and their disciples are well known for their strength and discipline.”

Max listened quietly as she continued.

”Elder Joe came here to deliver an invitation,” Lady Virelia explained. ”Our Black Dragon Clan has been invited to participate in a gathering that will be held by a second rate force. This gathering is not limited to us alone. Many third rate forces will be sending their most talented disciples, and it is almost certain that several second rate forces will also send their own geniuses to take part.”

Max immediately understood that such a gathering would not be a simple meeting.

Lady Virelia continued speaking.

”The purpose of this gathering is very clear. It is meant to give the younger generation one final opportunity to improve themselves before the Cosmic Ascension Conference begins. During the gathering the participating geniuses will be allowed to exchange techniques, spar with each other, enter small trial grounds prepared by the hosting force, and obtain guidance from experts belonging to higher forces.”

She paused briefly before continuing.

”Such opportunities are extremely valuable for cultivators who come from third rate forces like ours. Normally it would be very difficult for our disciples to interact with geniuses from second rate forces. However, during this gathering everyone will be placed within the same environment. This allows the disciples to test their strength against a much broader range of opponents and gain new insights into their cultivation.”

Max could already imagine how intense such a gathering would become.

Lady Virelia then leaned slightly forward as her tone became more solemn.

”Right now the entire Divine Realm is focused on one event,” she said. ”The Cosmic Ascension Conference.”

Max had already heard the importance of this conference from Saint Reiner.

”The Cosmic Ascension Conference is not simply a tournament,” Lady Virelia continued. ”It is the single largest gathering of geniuses in the Divine Realm. Every star realm sends its most talented disciples to compete. The number of participants reaches a scale that most people cannot even imagine.”

She paused again before explaining further.

”This conference determines far more than individual reputation. The results of the conference influence the standing of entire forces. A force whose disciples perform exceptionally well can rise in status and gain recognition across the Divine Realm. A force that performs poorly may lose its prestige and fall behind its rivals.”

Max realized immediately why the elders of the clan were paying so much attention to this event.

”For the forces themselves,” Lady Virelia said, ”the conference determines whether they will ascend toward becoming a first rate force or slowly decline toward the level of weaker third rate forces.”

She then looked directly at Max.

”But for the participating geniuses the meaning is even greater.”

Her voice became slightly softer as she continued.

”For them the conference is the stage where the title of the strongest genius in the Divine Realm is decided. The disciples who stand at the very top of that stage will become figures whose names spread across countless star realms.”

Because of this reason, the entire Divine Realm was already preparing for the upcoming conference.

”Many forces have begun pouring enormous amounts of resources into their younger generation,” Lady Virelia said. ”Rare cultivation materials, secret techniques, and guidance from powerful elders are all being given to their geniuses. Every force hopes that their disciples will shine during the Cosmic Ascension Conference.”

She then returned to the topic of the gathering.

”The meeting organized by that second rate force serves the same purpose,” Lady Virelia concluded calmly. ”It is meant to strengthen the disciples of the participating forces before the Cosmic Ascension Conference begins. For someone like you, Max, it will be an extremely valuable opportunity.”

Her gaze remained fixed on him as she continued.

”Your current strength is still too weak when compared to the true geniuses of the Divine Realm. The disciples who will participate in the Cosmic Ascension Conference are not ordinary talents. Most of them will already have stepped into the Law Refinement Realm. Some among them may even be standing at the peak of that realm.”

She spoke these words without hesitation, as if stating an unavoidable truth.

”This gathering will allow you to face opponents far stronger than the ones you have encountered so far. You will see how the geniuses from powerful forces cultivate, how they comprehend the laws of the universe, and how they fight. More importantly, it will give you the opportunity to improve your own strength before the conference begins.”

Lady Virelia leaned back slightly before continuing in a thoughtful tone.

”The gap between you and the strongest geniuses of the Divine Realm is not small. However, the advantage you possess is your potential. If you are given enough time and the right opportunities, you may be able to close that gap faster than anyone expects. This meeting is one of those opportunities.”
