Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100

Chapter 887: Arrival of the other group

Devon’s expression softened slightly, and he gave a firm nod. ”Although this beast is powerful, Senior Brother Kyle is strong enough to kill it.” There was no hesitation in his tone; his faith in Kyle’s strength was absolute, as if just mentioning his name was enough to guarantee victory.

Rick also nodded. ”Okay, then we’ll wait for Senior Brother Kyle to come.”

Arnold gave them a reassuring nod, and the three quietly retreated a short distance into the forest, finding a concealed spot where they could tend to their injuries and wait for Kyle’s arrival. The tension in their faces slowly eased, though the lingering hatred for the dragon remained clear in their eyes.

From his own hiding place, Max’s brows furrowed slightly, his expression hardening. ’So... they aren’t giving up on dealing with the three-headed black dragon after all.’

His eyes drifted toward the pool where the massive creature still rested, unmoving, guarding the Pure Yang Flower as if it were part of its very life. The beast had no intention of leaving the pool to chase after Arnold and his group, which made the situation even more complicated.

Max’s mind turned rapidly. He knew exactly who this Senior Brother Kyle was. Kyle wasn’t just any expert; he was the strongest 3-star genius of the Thunder Monarch Hall, already at the peak of the Legend Rank despite being only twenty-nine years old—barely two years older than Arnold. Among the new generation of the Thunder Monarch Hall, Kyle was undisputed, a figure others admired and feared alike.

Max’s eyes darkened. ’With someone like Kyle coming here... the chances of me obtaining the Pure Yang Flower will become almost zero.’ He clenched his fists slightly, feeling the weight of his decision press down on him.

;What to do?’

A dangerous thought flickered across his mind, one he didn’t dismiss immediately. ’Should I act now...? Should I kill Arnold and the other two before Kyle arrives?’ His hand unconsciously moved toward his sword hilt as he stared coldly at the three resting figures in the forest. The decision hung in the air, sharp and dangerous, as Max’s eyes narrowed further and his aura subtly grew colder.

”Swish, swish, swish—”

Just as Max was deep in thought, weighing his options on whether to strike at Arnold and his men, the sharp sound of wind cutting through the trees echoed from the foot of the mountain. Three figures emerged from the dense forest, moving with smooth precision.

Two men and one woman, all exuding a chilling aura that carried an oppressive edge, walked into view. Their eyes glinted with an icy light, the kind only honed killers or those accustomed to bloodshed would possess.

”Who?” Arnold’s group immediately snapped to alert, each of them stiffening at the unexpected presence. Devon stepped forward, his voice stern and guarded, eyes narrowing as he assessed the intruders.

Then recognition flashed across his face, and his tone shifted to surprise. ”Void Soul Tower?” he exclaimed, unable to mask his disbelief.

At his words, Arnold and Rick’s expressions also darkened. The Void Soul Tower was not a name to be taken lightly—it was infamous, and their members were dangerous, ambitious, and relentless. Encounters with them rarely ended peacefully.

”Is it someone from Thunder Monarch Hall?” one of the newcomers asked coolly, his gaze briefly flickering over Arnold and his companions before shifting beyond them. The two men and one woman clearly hadn’t expected to meet members of the Thunder Monarch Hall here of all places. Their steps paused only for a moment, and then their attention drifted toward the pool.

The sight of the enormous three-headed black dragon coiled in the water, its three heads glaring menacingly, did not evoke fear in them the way it had with Arnold’s group. Instead, a faint, eager smile appeared on their lips. A yellow-faced young man’s eyes lit up as he exclaimed, ”Junior Sister Nell, it’s a three-headed black dragon in the peak of Legend Rank. We’re lucky! We can capture it for you, Junior Sister.”

The second man, a long-faced youth, added with a grin, ”Yes, and there’s also a Pure Yang Flower here. Our luck couldn’t be better.”

It was obvious from their tones and expressions that both men were eager to impress the woman at their side. They were acting less like comrades and more like suitors desperate to gain favor.

The woman, dressed in a crimson skirt that clung to her curves, her hand loosely gripping a red whip, radiated confidence and beauty. She was undeniably striking, with eyes as soft and enticing as spring water and lips the color of fresh roses.

This was Senior Sister Nell of the Void Soul Tower. She gave a small, almost elegant nod, her eyes glinting faintly with satisfaction as she surveyed the scene. ”I didn’t expect there to be a three-headed black dragon here,” she said with a voice as soft as velvet but carrying the edge of command. ”This is great.”

From his hidden vantage point, Max’s expression instantly darkened the moment he saw her. His pupils contracted, his breath slowing as recognition sank in. That woman... wasn’t she the same Nell from the Void Soul Tower who had once chased him relentlessly, whose strength had suddenly soared to the peak of the Legend Rank during their pursuit?

He had barely escaped with his life back then, and her name had since been engraved into his memory as one of the most dangerous foes he had encountered.

Yet now, she appeared different. Her aura wasn’t at the overwhelming level it had been when she had been chasing him. Instead, it had returned to the 7th level of the Legend Rank. That sudden and unnatural surge in her strength back then now seemed even more suspicious to Max, confirming his long-standing wariness toward her.

Max’s eyes narrowed coldly as he stared at Nell, the woman in the crimson skirt who had once nearly taken his life. Every memory of that terrifying chase flashed in his mind, the sudden and unnatural rise in her strength, the cruel smile she wore while hunting him down.

He had absolutely no good feelings toward her; in fact, a sharp murderous intent immediately surged within his chest, urging him to strike her down where she stood. For a moment, his fingers unconsciously brushed the hilt of his sword, imagining how satisfying it would feel to end her right here and now.
