Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100

Chapter 228: Gears

ʼAlright, Iʼll be training for a bit,ʼ Max said to Blob as he entered his Dimension of Time.

A gentle hum enveloped him as the familiar white world unfolded, vast and boundless.

Everything here was pristine, untouched, silent.

Relaxation washed over him, melting away the tension he felt from the outside world.

Max took a deep breath, steadying his mind.

He had three things he wanted to train specifically before his decisive battle with Evan.

Two were techniques.

The third was the mysterious Void Cloak skill from the Black Lotus guild, still a complete unknown to him.

The Ten Hands of Lightning God was the first technique he intended to perfect.

The second was the profound Voidborne Edge: Sevenfold Sword Technique, a sword art that demanded absolute precision and finesse.

Max believed deeply that if his mastery over these two reached a satisfactory level—

He could confront Evan confidently, even if he transformed into a Null.

Without wasting another moment, Max reached into his spatial space and retrieved the worn manual of the Ten Hands of Lightning God.

Its cover was smooth, cold to the touch, bearing an ancient symbol that shimmered faintly, almost alive.

He had read through this technique several times already.

Yet, once more, he carefully flipped through its pages, allowing each intricate detail to settle deeply into his mind.

His eyes narrowed, intense focus sharpening his features.

Finally, he closed the book gently, a faint crackle of electricity dancing between his fingers.

The air around him began to stir softly, rippling with hints of restrained lightning energy.

ʼOne would need a high-level Concept of Lightning to bring out its true power,ʼ Max mused thoughtfully, feeling the electric currents run beneath his skin.

Ten Hands of Lightning God was simple yet incredibly powerful—a Legendary Rank technique.

But to achieve full mastery, to reach the Perfection level of this technique—

One would likely need an exceptionally high level of comprehension in the Concept of Lightning.

And that, sadly, was impossible in the Lower Domain.

Max had already practiced the Ten Hands of Lightning God back in the temple.

But with just three hours, shared alongside Momentum Sword, his progress had been limited.

Now, however, he had time.

Time to dedicate himself fully.

Time to master this technique completely.

”There are ten moves,” Max muttered softly, eyes narrowing with determination.

”Heavenʼs Thunder Palm, Lightning Shadow Clone, Storm Conductor Fingers, Thunderclap Dragon Fist, Lightning Blast, Lightning Devour, Sky Piercer Spear Hand, Tempest Cage Grip, Titanʼs Thunder Smash, and Lightning Godʼs Descent.”

He recited each move slowly, deliberately. Each name resonated with raw power.

”All of them are basic moves,” Max mused aloud. ”But thatʼs exactly what makes them special. A direct and pure application of lightningʼs destructive force—simple yet incredibly effective.”

Though these moves were basic at their core, something else accompanied them.

Something deeper.

Something more profound.

Gears.

The Ten Hands of Lightning God contained ten gears in total.

Each gear exponentially increased the destructive power of lightning, amplifying its intensity and ferocity.

Max recalled vividly how, during his clash with Veylin in the temple—

When Veylin had transformed into a Null—

He had managed to reach the 2nd gear, manifesting two blazing lightning rings that encircled him.

Yet, to reach the techniqueʼs final form—the 10th gear—

One needed profound comprehension in the Concept of Lightning.

For Max, that remained a distant goal.

But not impossible.

”Letʼs train these basic moves to perfection,” Max muttered softly.

He closed his eyes, steadying his breath.

Lightning crackled gently around his body.

One by one, he began practicing the Ten Hands of Lightning God.

Simple moves. Fundamental techniques.

But he knew their true power lay in mastery.

Once. Twice. A hundred times.

Not enough.

He repeated them thousands of times.

His body ached.

Sweat flowed freely, sizzling in the electric currents around him.

But he didnʼt stop. He wouldnʼt stop.

Again. And again. And again.

Every movement became smoother.

Faster.

Sharper.

Yet Max sensed it still wasnʼt enough.

”Again,” he whispered, pushing himself further.

Tens of thousands of repetitions passed.

His hands blurred with speed, each strike crackling with intensity.

Yet, amidst this ceaseless repetition, something changed.

A faint realization tugged at his mind.

His understanding of lightning deepened subtly.

ʼThis is good.ʼ

Max smiled as he practiced with even more intensity.

His movements began resonating differently, like chords of pure energy.

He could feel his Lightning Aura, stagnant at the peak of level 2, beginning to stir.

Maxʼs eyes glinted fiercely.

Heʼd found the path.

Not by chasing complexity—

But by mastering simplicity.

”More,” he growled, feeling closer than ever.

He resumed training.

More relentless. More driven.

Every fiber of his being focused solely on those ten simple moves.

Hundreds of thousands of repetitions.

Endless, almost maddening.

Yet he pressed on tirelessly.

His mind emptied.

All thoughts vanished.

Only lightning remained.

Suddenly—

His body froze.

A spark ignited deep within him, illuminating his consciousness.

A moment of enlightenment descended like a flash of lightning itself.

Maxʼs aura trembled, expanding outward violently.

Breaking past the limits.

Shattering barriers.

It surged beyond level 2, exploding into a new stage.

Level 3.

The lightning wasnʼt just around him—it coursed within him, through him.

He was like a part of lightning itself.

Max opened his eyes, now crackling with an unstoppable, electric brilliance.

A faint smile crossed his lips.

Finally, heʼd broken through.

”Level 3,” he breathed out. ”Perfect.”

”So thatʼs the benefit of practicing a Legendary Rank technique,” Max muttered, eyes gleaming with excitement.

Carefully, he put away the Ten Hands of Lightning God.

And took out another manual—Voidborne Edge: Sevenfold Sword Technique.

”If the previous technique was based on simplicity,” Max murmured, flipping through the pages, ”then this one is the peak of complexity.”

The manual was dense. Intricate diagrams filled the pages, each stroke of the sword technique described with layers of profound detail.

”The first move is Wheel of Samsara, which Iʼve already mastered,” he mused, tracing the diagrams with his finger. Then he turned the page, eyes locking onto the second move.

”Point Break Sword...” Max read aloud, voice trailing off as his brows knitted together.

It was a technique that concentrated all of the swordʼs sharpness, its cutting power, into a single point—the very tip of the blade.

The manual described it as creating a terrifyingly sharp point, capable of piercing through anything—even stirring up storms of sword energy upon impact.

Yet, there was a catch.

A major one.

Once executed, all other edges of the sword would become temporarily dull.

The sharpness on both sides of the blade would vanish entirely, drained and gathered at the swordʼs tip alone.

Max frowned deeper.

This was a double-edged move.

Incredible piercing power—at the cost of flexibility and risk of vulnerability.

”A risky move,” Max whispered softly, ”but incredibly powerful.”

He imagined it, visualizing that single point of overwhelming sharpness, filled with immense, explosive energy.

If timed correctly—

If aimed accurately—

This move could be devastating, an unstoppable thrust capable of turning the tide of battle.

Maxʼs grip on the manual tightened.

He would master this move.

He knew its risks.

But its potential was too great to ignore.

However, before he moved on to train that technique—

Max took out the Void Cloak skill scroll.
