People are Fighting to Break Their Diaries! They Forced Me to Eat Soft Food

8: Chapter 8 Medusa: The Domineering Heiress’s Forced Love”Descendant of a Dou Di, with a perfect bloodline inheritance, a Dou Sheng before the age of thirty, the only daughter of a Nine-Star Dou Sheng...”

Cold sweat broke out on Yun Yun’s back, and her very soul trembled.

Although she didn’t know why Gu Xun’er, with such a background, had settled in the Xiao Family ten years ago.

But since the Xiao Family had such a connection, as long as Xun’er showed the slightest hint of displeasure, it could lead to the destruction of the Cloud Mist Sect.

She actually had the thought of silencing Xiao Ting at the Xiao Family just now; even without the journal copy, she would have been courting death.

The same thought occurred to Queen Medusa.

Almost instantly, her attitude towards Xiao Ting shifted.

”With someone like Gu Xun’er as his backing, I can only befriend Xiao Ting; I must never offend him.”

Xiao Yi Xian and Qing Lin were shocked, but it was just shock.

In terms of birth alone, they were as different from Gu Xun’er as clouds are from mud.

[On the surface, the reason someone with Xun’er’s background came to the Xiao Family is that the Gu Clan wants to obtain the Tuoshe Ancient Emperor Jade in the Xiao Family’s possession.]

”Phew.” Xun’er let out a heavy sigh of relief.

The words ”on the surface” meant that Xiao Ting didn’t misunderstand her.

[My evaluation of this reason is ’brilliant’; it further proves that Author is just a writer who doesn’t understand ’Battle Through the Heavens’ at all.]

[In the Fighting Qi Continent, strength is paramount. Although most places aren’t as absolute as the Black-Corner Region—where the law of the jungle is played out to the extreme—and there are rules and systems to maintain a relative surface peace, the core principle never changes.]

[A thousand years ago, the Xiao Family was also an Emperor Clan, known then as the Eight Great Emperor Clans. Furthermore, because their ancestor Xiao Xuan was a Pseudo-Emperor expert, the Xiao Clan was publicly recognized as the strongest of the Dou Di families. Unfortunately, they couldn’t escape the fate of the Dou Di Bloodline’s depletion, which triggered a series of subsequent events.]

[Nowadays, the Xiao Family is scattered across the Fighting Qi Continent, and their mediocre bloodline has become even thinner. As one of the main branches holding the Tuoshe Ancient Emperor Jade, the strongest member of the Xiao Family of Wutan City is only a Great Dou Master.]

[If the Gu Clan wanted to get something from the Xiao Family, there are ten thousand ways to do it without acting themselves. They certainly wouldn’t need the clan leader’s daughter to steal it; that’s just too beneath them.]

[The secret of the Tuoshe Ancient Emperor Jade requires all eight pieces to be gathered to be unlocked. There’s no difference between having one piece or two.]

[If the Gu Clan took the Xiao Family’s ancient jade, they would only make themselves a target for everyone, giving the Hun Clan an opening to attack them.]

[Besides, the Gu Clan is on good terms with the Xiao Clan; doing this would also damage the Gu Clan’s reputation.]

[There are only pros and no cons.]

[Unless the Gu Clan was being controlled by the Hun Clan, they would never do such a thing!]

Xun’er: Brother Xiao Ting said it well.

I came to the Xiao Family with no ill will whatsoever!

What does that Author know about the heavens?

[It’s not explicitly stated in the book, but according to my deduction, Xun’er coming to the Xiao Family is just Uncle Gu Yuan’s way of protecting her.]

[The Emperor Clans value bloodlines immensely. Competition within the Gu Clan is fierce, and the elites of the younger generation need to reach Dou Zun before they are thirty.]

[When Xun’er was three, she was implanted with an infant flame cultivated from the sub-flame of the Golden Emperor Sky Burning Flame to burn away impurities in her bloodline and build a perfect foundation.]

[However, she cannot formally cultivate for the next ten years, making her even more ordinary than a regular person.]

[An environment like the Gu Clan’s is not suitable for Xun’er to grow up in.]

[Uncle Gu Yuan arranged for her to grow up in the Xiao Family just to give her a relaxed childhood.]

”Exactly right, Brother Xiao Ting is so clever.”

Xun’er cupped her face in her hands, her smile sweet and enchanting, her large eyes seemingly speaking volumes.

Since Xiao Ting could figure this out, he definitely wouldn’t misunderstand her motives for coming to the Xiao Family, which might have affected their relationship.

But in the next moment, her smile froze, panic appeared in her eyes, and her delicate hands reflexively tightened.

[In the novel, Author also designed a plot where the Cousin sneaks into Xun’er’s room as a child and uses Dou Zhi Qi to help nourish her meridians, leading Xun’er to admire him and help him significantly on his rise.]

[In reality, this is also fundamentally impossible. Xun’er came to the Xiao Family for a pleasant childhood, not to be exiled here to suffer.]

[She must have life-saving measures left by Uncle Gu Yuan in her body, and there are Dou Huangs, Dou Zongs, and even Dou Zuns guarding her in secret.]

[Even though the Cousin was only a few years old at the time, it would have been impossible for him to enter Xun’er’s room and touch her.]

[The facts prove this. When I was five, I entered Xun’er’s room with the Cousin and was immediately knocked unconscious and thrown out by a mysterious expert.]

[Reality could never be as dramatic and illogical as the novel.]

”Phew!” Xun’er let out a long sigh of relief.

It’s good that Brother Xiao Ting thinks this way.

He shouldn’t have any ideas just because of Author’s random writing.

[In the novel, the Cousin entered Xun’er’s room to do that because he wanted to test the existence of Dou Zhi Qi and felt that Xun’er was suffering from the ’cold air.’]

[But the Cousin had an adult’s mind at the time; he couldn’t have failed to realize Xun’er’s special status. I suspect he had some intentions of testing her.]

[I was the one who suffered; as his tag-along, I’ve been at odds with Xun’er since childhood, and I often clashed with the Xiao Family juniors because of her.]

[But in the end, it worked out for me. Uncle Gu Yuan would never have guessed that I would be the variable in the Xiao Family, becoming childhood sweethearts and bickering lovers with Xun’er.]

[Uncle Gu Yuan would never have imagined that Xun’er is extremely stubborn; once she sets her heart on something, not even a Dou Di can change it.]

[Xun’er has set her sights on me. Whether I want to or not, I’ll have to eat this bowl of soft rice.]

”Pfft!”

Xun’er couldn’t help but giggle, her sweet smile enough to eclipse the moon and shame the flowers.

”Brother Xiao Ting is right; you’ll have to eat Xun’er’s soft rice no matter what.”

”If you have the ability, everything will follow naturally; Xun’er will just wait for you.”

”If you don’t have the ability, then Xun’er will just have to become the strongest in the Gu Clan.”

”When that time comes, no one will be able to stop me from having the person I want!”

There aren’t many people in this world who can evoke emotions in Xun’er.

So, anyone who can make her feel something must be hers!

At the same time, Yun Yun, Xiao Yi Xian, Medusa, and Qing Lin all had a realization.

From the perspective of a storybook, Xun’er was likely the female lead—the only female lead.

That Author must be a young man who has never had a woman, likes to daydream, and hasn’t experienced much of life.

Otherwise, he wouldn’t have come up with a setting that defies human nature and natural laws, like ”the continent’s top rich beauty falling for me, a waste from a fallen family.”

But as it is now, with Xun’er and Xiao Ting developing from bickering childhood friends to mutual affection, and Xun’er’s personality leading to a ”forced love by an overbearing heiress,” it was actually quite plausible.

[I’m not as stubborn as Queen Medusa; the doctor recommended I eat softer rice.]

[If someone offers me soft rice, I certainly won’t refuse.]

[Next, I’ll go cook for Xun’er.]

Having written this, Xiao Ting stopped.

After double-checking the content to ensure there were no issues, he chose to upload and record it.

Every sentence, whether analysis or evaluation, perception or judgment, was his sincere, both subjective and objective, thought.

If this were his previous life and he posted this online, it would surely resonate with countless people.

The real world of Battle Through the Heavens was definitely not as simple as the novel depicted.

From now on, he would use his eyes and heart to observe and record everything seriously and realistically.

”Huh?”

Suddenly, Xiao Ting noticed a new piece of information in his mind, followed by many sudden fragments of images.

”Plane Blessing?”

Understanding the situation, Xiao Ting’s lips twitched.

”Is the blessing from the great dao record really this casual!?”
