“Alright, then call Ziyu over for dinner.”

After Qin Xue got the answer, she began to make hot and sour noodles.

Grandma Qin had soaked the noodles and was preparing ingredients such as pickles and chopped green onions.

By the time Ouyang Ziyu arrived, Qin Xue had finished making the hot and sour noodles. Qin Xue poured a spoonful of chili oil over each bowl, and the delicious dish was ready to serve.

“Qin Xue, what did you make? It smells so good,” Ouyang Ziyu said the moment she walked in. Qin Jiale didn’t tell her what Qin Xue had made when he went to call her over. He just told her to come and have dinner.

“All that matters is that it will make your mouth water. Help me bring the dishes out,” answered Qin Xue, without even lifting her head.

“Alright, these noodles smell amazing.”

Looking at the delicious hot and sour noodles Qin Xue made, Ouyang Ziyu was literally salivating at the sight of them. It was mainly because the sour taste made her salivary glands work overtime.

“Have you never had anything good to eat in the Imperial Capital? You think everything I make is delicious,” Qin Xue marveled.

“Maybe that’s because your cooking fits my taste,” Ouyang Ziyu said. She doesn’t mean she hasn’t tried different things. But when eating at Qin Xue’s house, she always changes up the menu.

So she thinks Qin Xue’s food is tasty. After all, wouldn’t we all like to have a change of taste now and then?

Otherwise, she would lose her appetite.

“I live in XX alley. If you feel like eating, come find me. I’ll cook for you.”

Qin Xue couldn’t help but laugh at Ziyu’s food-loving face. Xiaoqiao can cook when she’s not at home, but there’s still Chu Xiaoqiao, of course.

“You’re too kind, Qin Xue. I’m on it.”

Ouyang Ziyu hadn’t expected Qin Xue to even tell her where she lived in the Imperial Capital.

“Mm-hmm, whatever we eat, you eat.”

Qin Xue was more than happy to provide whatever Ouyang Ziyu wanted. So for her, it’s just one more set of dishes and chopsticks.

“Alright, I will come to your place for a meal on my day off.”

Ouyang Ziyu answered as she was leaving.

“Sure, all of you come at once. I don’t mind cooking for everyone at once. Just don’t come individually each day.”

Qin Xue didn’t mind cooking for everyone at once, but she didn’t want to entertain guests every day.

“From what you’re saying, it sounds like you know quite a few people there. Didn’t you just move to the Imperial Capital? And you already know so many people?”

Ouyang Ziyu had heard what Qin Xue had said as soon as she walked in.

“I met a few people back in S Province. I haven’t met many here yet,” Qin Xue thought about it and found she really had made quite a few friends.

“Well, you make friends faster than I do.”

Ouyang Ziyu was deeply impressed by Qin Xue. They had only known each other for a few days, but they had already become friends.

And now, she’s been invited over to Qin Xue’s place. She had made two friends, Qing Zhu and herself. Thinking of it that way, it seemed she had made a better deal because she got to know Qin Xue’s whole family.

Ouyang Ziyu also made friends quickly before, but she had never had this kind of good relationship with them as she had with Qin Xue.

She wasn’t sure why, but she felt an inexplicable trust in Qin Xue.

And so, she trusted Qin Xue’s family as well.

“You’re not too bad yourself.”

Qin Xue laughed at Ouyang Ziyu. She makes friends based on the vibes they give off. If she doesn’t vibe with them, she won’t regard them as friends.
