I'm Not Afraid of My Wife Being 30 Years Old, I'm Afraid of Her Knowing Everything

142: How about we have one too? (4000 words)Hearing Su Anan’s words, Jiang Hao chuckled:

“Xiao Zhi, what you said isn’t right. How can this be you suffering a loss and me enjoying? This should be us both enjoying, shouldn’t it!”

Shen Zhi pouted and said, feeling wronged:

“Brother Hao, you’re just talking nonsense with your eyes wide open. What do you mean I enjoyed it too? Did I look like I enjoyed it? I was doing all the hard work, okay? You were the only one enjoying it, hmph!”

To be honest...

Shen Zhi’s words weren’t wrong.

As long as they didn’t reach the final step...

Most of the previous ’practices’ involved Shen Zhi doing the work, while Jiang Hao enjoyed himself.

Jiang Hao knew when to quit while he was ahead.

“Xiao Zhi, you’re right. You truly put in a lot of hard work, and your contribution is the greatest. You deserve praise and commendation...”

After Jiang Hao’s coaxing, Shen Zhi’s slightly downcast mood immediately improved.

She grinned at Jiang Hao:

“Since I’ve worked so hard, Brother Hao, will you spend more time with me this afternoon? Tomorrow I have to go back to my hometown again, and I don’t know how many days I’ll be staying.”

When Shen Zhi said this, her eyes were full of anticipation and a little nervousness.

Clearly.

She was worried Jiang Hao wouldn’t accompany her in the afternoon.

Seeing Shen Zhi’s nervous and expectant expression, Jiang Hao embraced her and softly said:

“I’m not going anywhere this afternoon. I’ll just stay and keep you company.”

Jiang Hao’s words made Shen Zhi’s expression joyful and excited:

“Brother Hao, are you serious? You’ll really stay with me all afternoon and not trick me?”

Jiang Hao gently brushed the hair behind Shen Zhi’s ear and nodded:

“How could I bear to trick you? If I say I’ll accompany you, then I’ll definitely accompany you all afternoon. I’ll never break my promise. Now, think about where we should go to have fun.”

Jiang Hao checked his phone and told Shen Zhi:

“It’s past one o’clock now, so there’s still plenty of time to go out. Quickly, think about where we should go.”

Seeing that Jiang Hao was genuinely going to take her out, Shen Zhi was ecstatic. She wrapped her arms around Jiang Hao’s neck and gave him a sweet kiss:

“Brother Hao, you’re so good to me. I really, really like you, hehe.”

After a while of being lovey-dovey with Shen Zhi in the car.

Shen Zhi decided to go shopping at the mall and then watch a movie in the evening.

The weather outside was a bit hot, so going to an amusement park under the scorching sun would be asking for trouble.

There wasn’t enough time to visit nearby tourist attractions.

Going to the mall was a good choice.

It wasn’t hot in the mall, and there was food, drinks, and entertainment.

Watching a movie in the evening, sitting in a park, and then having some intimate time—this arrangement was actually quite romantic.

After deciding to go to the mall, Jiang Hao asked Shen Zhi:

“Xiao Zhi, should we tell your aunt that we’re going out?”

Jiang Hao wanted to spend the night out with Shen Zhi and see if they could ’eat meat’.

But considering she had to take a bus back to her hometown early tomorrow morning.

Shen Ping definitely wouldn’t allow Jiang Hao to do that.

Ultimately, he gave up on the idea.

Shen Zhi pondered for a moment, then nodded:

“Okay, I’ll tell my aunt so she doesn’t worry. It wouldn’t be good if she suddenly called us while we’re having fun, right?”

Jiang Hao was indifferent to this matter.

Since there was no chance to ’eat’ Shen Zhi for now, he didn’t care if Shen Ping called to ask.

However.

Jiang Hao didn’t plan to just leave Shen Zhi untouched forever. After school started and Shen Zhi was away from Shen Ping, there would be many more opportunities to ’eat’ her.

Shen Zhi picked up her phone and dialed her aunt Shen Ping’s number.

After the call connected, Shen Ping asked Shen Zhi:

“Xiao Zhi, where are you? Have you seen Xiao Hao? ...Two of Bamboos, wait, I’m going to Pong!”

From Shen Ping’s voice on the phone, it was clear she was still playing mahjong.

Shen Zhi told Shen Ping:

“Auntie, I’ve seen Brother Hao. I’m going out with him this afternoon, so I’ll be back a bit late.”

Hearing Shen Zhi’s words, Shen Ping’s voice on the phone said calmly:

“Okay, then go out and have fun. But the weather outside is a bit hot, so don’t go to open-air places to play, be careful of heatstroke. Come back early in the evening. Tomorrow we still have to go back to our hometown early to see your uncle, don’t forget.”

Shen Zhi obediently agreed:

“Okay, Auntie, I know. I won’t be back too late.”

After a few words with Shen Ping, Shen Zhi ended the call.

After hanging up, Shen Zhi waved her hand grandly and said with excited delight:

“Let’s go, Brother Hao, we’re going out to play, hehe...”

Jiang Hao nodded:

“Tidy up your clothes, I’ll drive you to the mall now.”

Jiang Hao drove away from the parking spot.

Just as he was queuing to leave the residential area.

He suddenly noticed that the second car in front of him looked somewhat familiar.

After sticking his head out the window to carefully confirm the license plate of the car in front, Jiang Hao frowned:

“Isn’t that Mu Qianqian’s car? Where is she going?”

Because Mu Qianqian had relatives, Jiang Hao usually didn’t have much contact with her.

Mostly, it was late at night, when Mu Qianqian couldn’t sleep, that she would proactively contact Jiang Hao. They would chat, and then release their physical energy from a distance.

So, Jiang Hao wasn’t aware of Mu Qianqian’s usual whereabouts.

Jiang Hao didn’t tell Mu Qianqian that he was back today either.

Just as Jiang Hao was wondering if Mu Qianqian was going out for a drive, the back seat window of her car opened.

From Jiang Hao’s angle, he could just see a woman in her fifties sitting in the back seat of her car, her face somewhat resembling Mu Qianqian’s.

“This should be Mu Qianqian’s mother, Jiang Xiaorou’s grandmother. Since she’s also there, they’re probably going out to play.”

Mu Qianqian’s car left the residential area and then turned left.

Watching her car disappear from sight, Jiang Hao mused:

“There’s a wetland park to the left. Perhaps Mu Qianqian took Jiang Xiaorou to the park, but on such a hot day, wouldn’t it be too hot to go to the park in the middle of the day?”

Of course.

Jiang Hao didn’t know exactly where Mu Qianqian was going, nor would he call to ask.

Even if he found out, what good would it do? He couldn’t do anything with Mu Qianqian anyway, so it would be redundant.

After the car in front passed, Jiang Hao also drove Shen Zhi out of the residential area.

The mall was northeast of the residential area. Jiang Hao turned right after leaving the area, which was the opposite direction from Mu Qianqian.

More than twenty minutes later.

Jiang Hao brought Shen Zhi to a very bustling mall.

Once inside the mall, Shen Zhi was as happy as a bird released from its cage.

Shen Zhi, holding Jiang Hao’s arm, felt the coolness of the mall and said with a pleasant expression:

“The temperature in the mall is so comfortable, cool and pleasant. It’s much better than the sweltering weather outside.”

Jiang Hao smiled, pointed to a milk tea shop not far away, and asked Shen Zhi:

“At such a cool temperature, we definitely need a cup of milk tea, right? Come on, let’s go get milk tea.”

Shen Zhi was in high spirits and immediately nodded in agreement:

“Okay, let’s go buy milk tea, my treat!”

Seeing Shen Zhi say she wanted to treat him to milk tea, Jiang Hao chuckled:

“Xiao Zhi, who are you looking down on? A cup of milk tea still needs you to treat me? Isn’t that belittling me?”

Seeing Jiang Hao say this, Shen Zhi said with a laugh:

“Brother Hao, what are you thinking? How can this be belittling? Last time you took me shopping, you bought me food and drinks and a lot of other things. So this time, I’m treating you to milk tea, just as a small token of my appreciation. Don’t you dare refuse!”

Seeing Shen Zhi say this, Jiang Hao thought about it and didn’t refuse.

A cup of milk tea was only a few tens of yuan, no need to be petty.

“Okay, you treat for the milk tea, and I’ll treat you to dinner and a movie tonight.”

A few minutes later.

Jiang Hao and Shen Zhi each held a cup of milk tea.

Then they started strolling around the mall.

They didn’t have anything specific to buy, so they just wandered around aimlessly.

They browsed for almost an hour.

Shen Zhi only had one clothing bag in her hand.

It was a dress she really liked, so Jiang Hao bought it for her.

The price wasn’t expensive, only a few hundred yuan.

Just as Jiang Hao was wondering where to go next.

Shen Zhi pointed to a game arcade ahead and said excitedly:

“Brother Hao, there’s a game arcade over there. Shall we go in and catch some dolls?”

Jiang Hao thought for a moment. Since there was nothing else to do while wandering around, he nodded in agreement:

“Okay, let’s go catch dolls. Today, I’ll let you catch to your heart’s content!”

Inside the arcade, Jiang Hao exchanged nearly a hundred game tokens and handed them to Shen Zhi:

“Here, take them and catch as many as you want. If it’s not enough, I’ll exchange more.”

Shen Zhi took the game tokens and pulled Jiang Hao towards the claw machines:

“Brother Hao, come on, let’s catch them together and see how our luck is today...”

About half an hour later.

Jiang Hao and Shen Zhi emerged from the arcade.

They were carrying more than ten plush dolls, making the people around who hadn’t caught any dolls very envious.

Seeing the envious gazes around them, Shen Zhi was also very happy.

She held up the plush dolls in her hand and said to Jiang Hao with immense pride:

“Brother Hao, look how good I am! I caught more than ten dolls with just over thirty tokens, while you only caught five with over sixty tokens. Your skill isn’t as good as mine!”

Jiang Hao wanted to retort Shen Zhi’s words but couldn’t find any fault.

Because most of the dolls in their hands were caught by Shen Zhi.

Out of over a hundred tokens.

Jiang Hao only caught five dolls with over sixty tokens.

On the other hand, Shen Zhi.

She caught more than ten dolls with just over thirty tokens. Her skill and luck were unmatched.

Jiang Hao gave Shen Zhi a very convinced thumbs-up:

“Xiao Zhi, you’re amazing, I admire you!”

Shen Zhi, after being praised, smiled even more happily:

“Hehe, I’m a master at catching dolls, I’m really good.”

Just then.

A little girl, about four years old, with two pigtails, a chubby face, and a lollipop in her hand, came up to Jiang Hao and Shen Zhi.

She pointed at the yellow Pikachu in Jiang Hao’s hand, then held out her lollipop to Jiang Hao, blinking her eyes and saying in a childish voice:

“Uncle, this Pikachu is so cute. Can I exchange it for this lollipop?”

The little girl was very well-behaved and dressed cutely, truly endearing.

Jiang Hao actually had no interest in these plush dolls.

He had just planned to exchange them for points at the counter to redeem other toys.

But Shen Zhi said these were her spoils of war and she wanted to keep them as a souvenir.

So Jiang Hao didn’t exchange them.

Actually.

Even if he gave this yellow Pikachu to the cute little girl in front of him, Jiang Hao wouldn’t feel reluctant.

However, he didn’t give it away directly, but asked Shen Zhi beside him:

“Xiao Zhi, these dolls are yours. You decide whether to give them away!”

The dolls were caught by Shen Zhi, and she seemed to like them very much.

Jiang Hao wouldn’t be generous with someone else’s possessions to be a good person; he still needed Shen Zhi’s consent.

Shen Zhi hadn’t thought of that.

She took the Pikachu from Jiang Hao’s hand, squatted in front of the little girl, and said with a smile:

“Little sister, big sister doesn’t need you to exchange your lollipop. You just need to say ’Big sister, you’re so pretty,’ and big sister will give you this Pikachu!”

As soon as Shen Zhi said this, Jiang Hao almost burst out laughing:

“I really didn’t realize this Little Lass is so good at coaxing children. Her mind is quite clever.”

The little girl, hearing Shen Zhi’s words, tilted her head and blinked, saying:

“Are you telling the truth? If I say it, you’ll give me this Pikachu?”

Shen Zhi nodded:

“Yes, big sister keeps her word.”

The little girl extended her right pinky finger:

“Come on, let’s pinky swear!”

The little girl’s actions amused both Jiang Hao and Shen Zhi.

“Oh, little one, you’re so cute! Okay, let’s pinky swear.”

Shen Zhi’s pinky finger hooked with the little girl’s, and they both said:

“Pinky swear, hang a hundred years, never change...”

After pinky swearing, the little girl immediately said to Shen Zhi:

“Big sister, you’re so pretty! You’re the prettiest big sister I’ve ever seen!”

Well!

This little girl had such a sweet tongue.

She even added the three words “the prettiest,” which made Shen Zhi’s heart blossom with joy:

“Oh, little sister, you’re so well-behaved and cute. You’re also the cutest, prettiest, and sweetest little sister big sister has ever seen.”

Shen Zhi handed the Pikachu in her hand to the little girl:

“Little sister, big sister keeps her word. This Pikachu is for you! Oh, and big sister will give you another plushie.”

Shen Zhi handed a white husky plushie from her hand to the little girl:

“Here, this plushie is also for you. Do you like it?”

The little girl didn’t immediately take the plushie.

Instead, she turned and called out to an old grandma who was watching her from not far away:

“Grandma, come quickly!”

The old grandma came over after hearing the little girl’s voice.

Shen Zhi then told the old grandma her idea.

After listening, the old grandma said to the little girl:

“Luoluo, since big sister wants to give it to you, if you like it, then accept it. But you must say thank you to big sister, okay?”

The little girl, hearing this, took the plushie from Shen Zhi’s hand, thanked Shen Zhi several times in her childish voice, and then left contentedly, hugging the two plushies.

Looking at the little girl’s retreating figure, Shen Zhi’s eyes were full of doting affection:

“This little girl is so cute, so well-behaved and sensible.”

Jiang Hao teased her:

“How about we have such a cute little girl too?”

Jiang Hao’s words made Shen Zhi blush:

“I’m still a child! I don’t want to have one with you. You’re so naughty, always trying to take advantage of me!”

Just as Jiang Hao and Shen Zhi were chatting and laughing, preparing to continue shopping at the mall.

Jiang Hao suddenly noticed a woman appearing not far away.

And this woman was incredibly familiar to him, causing him to frown:

“Huh, isn’t that Mu Qianqian? How did she end up at this mall too? That’s a bit unexpected...”
