I'm Not Afraid of My Wife Being 30 Years Old, I'm Afraid of Her Knowing Everything

128: Wow, she’s wearing purple! (4000 words)This is a relatively large rest area, and there is quite a lot of food inside.

To save time, the four of them found a snack bar.

The location of this shop is relatively remote, and there aren’t many people.

Looking at the snacks on the menu, Jiang Hao said to Qu Xiaoting and the others:

”Order whatever you want to eat, it’s on me.”

After hearing this, Qu Xiaoting looked at Jiang Hao and smiled:

”Xiao Hao, I am the oldest among you, how can I let a young person like you pay? Aunt Qu will treat you to this meal.”

After finishing, she said to An Ning:

”Xiao Ning, order whatever you want, don’t be polite with Aunt Qu.”

An Ning didn’t answer Qu Xiaoting immediately, but looked at Jiang Hao.

Obviously, she was waiting for Jiang Hao to make the decision.

A meal wouldn’t cost much anyway.

Jiang Hao didn’t insist on rushing to pay for this meal.

He nodded at An Ning, and then said to Qu Xiaoting:

”Then thank you, Aunt Qu.”

After hearing this, Qu Xiaoting glared at Jiang Hao:

”Why are you being so polite with Aunt Qu? You’re acting like a stranger.”

Jiang Hao always felt that Qu Xiaoting’s words had a hidden meaning.

But he didn’t think too much about it, and didn’t say anything more.

After picking up the menu and reading it, he said to the waiter nearby:

”Beauty, give me a portion of sour and spicy noodles and cold jelly noodles!”

The waiter nodded, wrote it down, and then asked Qu Xiaoting and the others nearby.

Qu Xiaoting ordered a mutton soup with pita bread.

Su Anan ordered fried rice, and An Ning ordered stir-fried rice noodles.

During the time waiting for the meal.

Qu Xiaoting said to Jiang Hao:

”Xiao Hao, you aren’t afraid of getting diarrhea with this combination of sour and spicy noodles and cold jelly noodles? It’s really testing your stomach’s tolerance.”

An Ning echoed:

”It’s a good thing the cold jelly wasn’t taken directly from the refrigerator, otherwise, you might really... you know, hee hee.”

Su Anan giggled:

”Anan, don’t forget, we are still going rafting later, the river water is cold. If Brother Hao accidentally drinks the river water, he might really... you know, heh heh.”

Listening to the three’s teasing.

Jiang Hao patted his stomach and said very confidently:

”If I didn’t even have this level of tolerance, I wouldn’t be a qualified Sichuanese. Besides, we are rafting, the river is so wide. If I really need to ’take care of it’, I can just do it right there. It’s no big deal!”

As soon as this was said, Qu Xiaoting almost choked on the water in her mouth, looking at Jiang Hao speechlessly:

”Xiao Hao, you are really disgusting. ’Do it right there’? You are truly a talent!”

Just as the four were chatting and joking, the snacks were served.

Twenty minutes later.

The four finished their snacks and prepared to continue rafting.

However, the weather seemed to have changed at this time.

The originally sunny sky was now covered with dark clouds.

It looked like it was about to rain heavily.

Jiang Hao looked up and said to Qu Xiaoting beside him:

”Aunt Qu, the weather is a bit off. These dark clouds appearing suddenly, could it be that a heavy rain is coming?”

Qu Xiaoting looked up at the sky, her delicate eyebrows slightly furrowed:

”It does look like heavy rain is coming, but this rain might not fall for a while. Who knows, it might not even rain at all.”

Jiang Hao nodded:

”Even if it does rain, we have to reach the finish line. Only the finish line has cars to take tourists back to the rafting starting point. There are no cars to pick us up halfway, and walking there takes at least an hour or two, and most of it is mountain road, which is hard to walk.”

Qu Xiaoting thought for a moment and said to Su Anan and An Ning behind Jiang Hao:

”Just in case, it’s safer for us to raft to the finish line early.”

After the few got on the kayak, they continued to raft downstream.

The downstream river is relatively turbulent, and there are many bends, so the rafting is very exciting.

Of course.

The danger also increases accordingly.

And sure enough.

At a bend in the river.

Su Anan was careless and was thrown directly out of the kayak, carried quickly downstream by the river water.

Qu Xiaoting and An Ning hurriedly shouted to Jiang Hao in front:

”Xiao Hao, Anan fell into the water, hurry and save her.”

Hearing the cry for help from behind.

Jiang Hao looked back.

Su Anan, who had fallen into the water, was struggling constantly, and judging by her posture, she was drinking a lot of river water again.

”Fine, gotta be a lifeguard again.”

After sighing to himself, Jiang Hao jumped into the water and approached Su Anan quickly.

With the experience of saving Qu Xiaoting earlier.

Jiang Hao quickly pulled Su Anan into his arms.

With the help of An Ning and Qu Xiaoting, the three of them worked together to pull Su Anan onto the kayak.

Looking at Su Anan lying in the kayak panting heavily, Qu Xiaoting asked with concern:

”Anan, are you okay? Are you hurt?”

Su Anan shook her head, wiped the river water off her face, and said to Qu Xiaoting:

”Mom, I’m fine, I just drank a few mouthfuls of river water. Fortunately, Xiao Hao pulled me up in time, otherwise my stomach wouldn’t be able to hold any more. It’s too hard for me.”

Jiang Hao gently patted Su Anan’s shoulder and smiled:

”You have to hold on tight and don’t fall off again later, otherwise you’ll have to drink the ice-cold river water again, haha.”

After teasing Su Anan a few times, the rafting continued.

With the previous lessons of Qu Xiaoting and Su Anan.

Everyone held the kayak very tightly.

In addition, the weight of the four was not light.

No one else fell out during the rest of the rafting.

However, the dark clouds in the sky became more and more dense.

A few raindrops hit An Ning’s face.

An Ning originally thought it was water splashing from the river and didn’t pay attention.

But as there were more and more raindrops.

An Ning looked up and found that it was actually raining.

She hurriedly shouted to Jiang Hao:

”Brother Hao, it’s raining.”

Jiang Hao also noticed this.

Looking at the increasingly thick dark clouds in the sky, he turned around and nodded at An Ning:

”It is indeed raining. Looking at this situation, the rain will probably get heavier and heavier.”

Qu Xiaoting and Su Anan also noticed that it was raining.

”It’s really raining.”

Qu Xiaoting also noticed another situation and hurriedly said to Jiang Hao:

”Xiao Hao, have you noticed that the river water seems to have become a bit murkier than before?”

After hearing Qu Xiaoting’s reminder, Jiang Hao looked down carefully.

He found that the river water was indeed murkier than before; it would be hard to tell if one didn’t look carefully.

Su Anan asked Jiang Hao and Qu Xiaoting curiously:

”Why did this river water suddenly become murky?”

Qu Xiaoting and Jiang Hao looked at each other, and the two immediately understood what was going on, and said to Su Anan at the same time:

”It must be heavy rain upstream causing a flash flood.”

Hearing Jiang Hao and Qu Xiaoting’s words, Su Anan’s expression changed:

”Ah, heavy rain upstream causing a flash flood? Doesn’t that mean we are in danger?”

An Ning asked Jiang Hao nervously:

”Brother Hao, if there really is a flash flood upstream, shouldn’t we hurry up and raft to the finish line?”

Jiang Hao nodded.

He looked up at the sky upstream.

I saw dark clouds covering the sky upstream. Judging by this posture, it should be raining heavily, and it might even be a rainstorm.

Otherwise.

The river water downstream wouldn’t have become murky so quickly.

Unless it was caused by a sudden increase in water flow upstream.

If we don’t rush to the finish line or get ashore immediately before the flash flood hits the river, it would be really dangerous.

Jiang Hao hurriedly said to Qu Xiaoting:

”Aunt Qu, just in case, let’s get ashore immediately. If a flash flood hits suddenly, we’re done for.”

As soon as Jiang Hao finished speaking.

The safety officer on the shore suddenly shouted to the people rafting in the river with a loudspeaker:

”Attention all tourists, a sudden rainstorm upstream has caused a flash flood. For your safety, please quickly find a calm lake to terminate the rafting and get ashore. Please get ashore immediately...”

Hearing the safety officer’s reminder from the shore, the four of Jiang Hao all tightened their expressions:

”It really is raining heavily upstream. We can’t continue rafting, we must get ashore immediately.”

Jiang Hao looked up.

He pointed to the sign not far away that read ”Rest Area Ahead” and said to Qu Xiaoting, Su Anan, and An Ning:

”There is a rest area ahead, let’s hurry over and get ashore from there.”

Qu Xiaoting and the three were a bit panicked at this time. It concerned their own lives, so it would be a lie to say they weren’t panicked.

The three nodded hurriedly:

”Okay, let’s get ashore from the rest area.”

A few minutes later.

The kayak entered a calm little lake.

The four hurried to bring the kayak to the shore.

Then they quickly got off the kayak and entered the rest area.

At this time, many tourists in the rest area had already received the reminder from the safety officer and were waiting here, gathering in groups of two or three to chat and inquire about the news.

”Did you hear that there is a heavy rain and a flash flood upstream?”

”That should be the case. We have companions who didn’t go rafting and were waiting upstream for us. He said that it was already raining heavily upstream, and there was even a flash flood.”

”If there really is a flash flood, wouldn’t those people who are rafting above be in danger?”

”It shouldn’t be a big problem. After the weather changes upstream, someone will remind them in advance. There are several rest areas on the way, so there shouldn’t be too much danger.”

”...”

Listening to these people’s chat, Qu Xiaoting asked Jiang Hao:

”Xiao Hao, what should we do now? We are all soaked to the skin, staying here waiting like this isn’t a solution.”

Su Anan and An Ning were also blinking and looking at Jiang Hao at this time.

The feeling of being soaked all over is really not very comfortable.

Fortunately, it is summer, which is slightly better than winter.

But it won’t do if we don’t change clothes for a long time.

Before rafting, staff members brought the clothes prepared by the tourists to the finish line, and they could be collected with the number tag after the rafting ended.

But we haven’t reached the finish line yet, so we can’t get the clothes either.

Looking at the eyes of Qu Xiaoting and the others, Jiang Hao comforted:

”Don’t panic, there will definitely be staff driving to pick us up to the finish line. The scenic spot must have a response plan for this kind of emergency.”

Just as Jiang Hao said.

A few minutes later.

There were staff members driving sightseeing cars to pick up tourists to the finish line.

”Everyone line up, don’t crowd, get on one by one, one by one...”

After waiting for about four minutes.

The four of Jiang Hao got on the sightseeing car and then headed to the rafting finish line.

It was already very close to the rafting finish line here.

Seven or eight minutes later, the four of Jiang Hao arrived at the finish line.

Using the number tag, they went to the locker to collect the clothes they had prepared in advance.

The clothes of the four of Jiang Hao were put in the same bag.

After Qu Xiaoting opened the backpack, she asked Jiang Hao:

”Xiao Hao, what color was the bag containing your clothes? I forgot.”

Jiang Hao thought about it and told Qu Xiaoting.

”It should be a blue bag. It was placed at the bottom of the bag when it was packed before.”

After Jiang Hao’s reminder.

Qu Xiaoting looked directly at the bottom of the bag.

When rummaging through the bag, she accidentally opened another bag.

A blue lace triangle panty and a blue lace camisole appeared in Jiang Hao’s field of vision, making Jiang Hao startled:

”Looking at the size, it should be Qu Xiaoting’s clothes. I really didn’t expect that she would wear this kind of fashionable color underwear, it’s really sexy and alluring!”

Qu Xiaoting didn’t expect that the bag containing her clothes would suddenly open.

Looking at the underwear exposed inside, she hurriedly blocked it with her hand and said to Jiang Hao:

”Xiao Hao, don’t look around, even if you saw it, just pretend you didn’t.”

Jiang Hao laughed it off:

”Hi, Aunt Qu, don’t overthink it, this isn’t anything shameful. Well, just pretend I didn’t see it.”

After finishing, he muttered in a low voice:

”That size is really not small, tsk tsk...”

Although the voice of Jiang Hao saying the second half of the sentence was very small, Qu Xiaoting still heard it.

She took the bag containing Jiang Hao’s clothes from the bottom of the backpack, handed it to Jiang Hao’s arms, then gently pinched his arm, and gave a coquettish hum:

”What are you muttering about, you little guy? You really think I didn’t hear it, don’t you? You’re young and don’t learn the good, why do you always learn the bad?”

Jiang Hao smiled and said to Qu Xiaoting:

”Aunt, you are biased. How is this not learning the good? Everyone has a love for beauty. Aunt, your figure is so beautiful. As a normal hot-blooded young man, it is normal to look a few more times, right...”

Jiang Hao’s words made Qu Xiaoting’s pretty face blush:

”Oh, you little guy, how dare you talk nonsense? Watch me beat you up today!”

Just as Qu Xiaoting wanted to wave her pink fist to beat Jiang Hao, she suddenly saw Su Anan and An Ning who had come back from the restroom together.

She hurriedly retracted her pink fist, glared at Jiang Hao, and whispered:

”Little guy, you wait for me. Aunt will deal with you sooner or later. I will definitely get this back today.”

Looking at Qu Xiaoting’s coquettish appearance, Jiang Hao was just about to say:

”Aunt, please abuse me, use more force, use great force to abuse me!”

Before these words were spoken, Su Anan and An Ning had already arrived at their side.

Su Anan asked Qu Xiaoting:

”Mom, did you find our clothes?”

Qu Xiaoting nodded, and said to Su Anan and An Ning:

”Yeah, the clothes are all found. Let’s go to the changing room to change clothes first.”

After finishing, she said to Jiang Hao:

”Xiao Hao, we will meet at the restaurant next to the visitor center after changing clothes later.”

Jiang Hao nodded:

”Okay, Aunt, see you in a while.”

The four separated to go to the changing room to change clothes.

Jiang Hao changed clothes relatively quickly and came out two minutes later.

Qu Xiaoting and the three were slower and hadn’t come out yet.

Just while waiting for the three.

Jiang Hao heard a piece of news from the staff nearby, and couldn’t help but be startled:

”What? A heavy rainstorm upstream caused a landslide, a road was washed out, making it impossible for cars to return to the rafting starting point. Tourists can only find inns nearby to stay overnight. Now we’re in trouble!”
