Survival in the Underground Palace: Get the instant kill skill at the beginning

158: A group of fairies are coming“They’re here, they’re here! The fairy tears are here.”

As soon as Allen returned to Home, he instantly ran to Liu Yang and Shi Yufei.

With a wave of his hand, countless fairy tears poured down.

“Wow, so many?”

Guan Ningyan’s eyes widened as she looked at the fairy tears piled up like a small hill.

“This must be all the fairy tears from the people at the Cave Base, right? We’ve never collected from them before, so they must have accumulated a lot.”

Shi Yufei guessed the reason as soon as she saw the quantity.

“Yes.”

Allen nodded in admission.

“Everyone was in a meeting at the time, so they brought them all together.”

“A meeting? Did something else happen?”

Liu Yang heard about the meeting and was a little confused.

Allen then remembered that he hadn’t told anyone anything when he came in earlier.

So, he briefly explained the situation outside.

Liu Yang’s expression changed immediately upon hearing this.

“Since that’s the case, we shouldn’t delay. Let’s speed things up.”

He then looked at Mitra: “The situation is urgent, can you go faster?”

“Mm, Mitra will work hard.”

Seeing Liu Yang ask her, Mitra nodded vigorously.

Thus, the great feeding enterprise continued.

According to the original rule of increasing by 100 fairy tears per level, Mitra would need approximately 200,000 fairy tears to reach level 100.

But unexpectedly, when upgrading from level 99 to level 100, the situation suddenly changed.

It was initially estimated that after Mitra reached level 99, they had already fed her nearly 100,000 fairy tears to date.

A single level required 100,000 fairy tears.

And Mitra still said it was far from enough.

If they hadn’t continuously acquired fairy tears, things would have been much worse.

Now, with the support from the Cave Base, fairy tears should no longer be an issue.

Even if there was still a shortage, it wouldn’t be by much.

“The Fire Elementalist Squad, go burn down the outermost forest.”

“The Ranged Attack Squad and Defense Squad, follow up and prepare for defense and retreat.”

“Water Elementalists, bring the venom and coordinate with the Wind Elementalists to deliver the venom above the Fairy forces.”

“The Trap Squad and Engineer Squad, prepare traps and defensive fortifications. The goal is not to kill the enemy, but primarily to delay their speed.”

At the top of the Cave Base.

By this time, several days had passed since Allen took the fairy tears.

The Fairy forces near the base, after assembling, began to advance towards the base.

The two commanders watched the footage captured by the remote-controlled drone and issued commands methodically.

This remote-controlled drone was, of course, lent to Shen Yansheng by Liu Yang.

Actually, the drone itself wasn’t much; the main thing was the camera.

Anyway, to this day, people hadn’t seen a second one.

“Allen, how much longer until Liu Yang finishes?”

Taking advantage of the free time, Shen Yansheng asked casually.

“Soon, soon, it won’t be long now.”

“Mm, I understand.”

Nodding faintly, Shen Yansheng said no more, his eyes fixed on the images coming from the video.

After the two commanders issued their orders, the waiting teams began to move.

In an instant, countless fire-elemental skills fell into the lush forest.

The extreme heat instantly dried and ignited the flowers, plants, and trees, and the scorching fire immediately spread in all directions.

And with the support of a few wind-elemental skills, the fire became even more unstoppable.

“Mere fire wants to stop us? What a joke.”

Among the Fairy forces, a leading Fairy Elder scoffed at the sky-high flames.

“Charm Fairies, immediately command your water-elemental subordinates to cast skills towards the forest to extinguish the fire.”

“Thunder Fairies, I remember you have a skill called Thunderstorm, which is the only skill besides the Fairy Queen’s that can break through elemental boundaries. Prepare to cast it too, targeting the forest.”

Upon hearing the command, the Charm Fairies immediately acted.

The Thunder Fairies also flashed, transforming into streaks of lightning and appearing high in the sky.

They chanted a few notes, and the sky began to churn.

In just a short while, dark clouds gathered, and the sky darkened.

Rumble!

Rumble!

Thunder roared, electric snakes danced wildly, and torrential rain followed.

Subsequently, the fire was extinguished by the rainwater, raising bursts of mist.

Shen Yansheng watched everything from the video and issued a command.

“Fire Elementalist teams, retreat immediately.”

“Water Elementalist teams, move forward. Seize this opportunity to immediately poison them.”

So, a short while later, the flames began to die out from both ends of the forest.

“Huh?”

“What’s wrong with these humans? They’re also putting out the fire; aren’t they just doing something useless?”

“Who cares so much? Once the fire is out, it’s their death sentence.”

When the flames were completely extinguished, the Fairy forces pushed forward, continuing their journey towards the Cave Base.

Next came the trap and ranged attack teams.

“Why does it feel like energy consumption has suddenly increased?”

“Isn’t high consumption normal? Constantly using skills, it would be strange if it wasn’t high.”

“That’s true.”

The front line of the war was far from the base, and with the harassment and obstruction of the human forces, one day passed, and they had only covered a small portion of the journey.

Night fell, and both humans and fairies stopped moving, defending their positions.

Thus, three days passed.

And on this day, everyone in Liu Yang’s team gathered in Home.

Because Mitra was about to level up.

“Finally, she’s almost leveling up. It’s been so many days.”

“Do you think Mitra can defeat the Fairy Queen after leveling up?”

“I don’t know!”

“Regardless of whether she can win, as long as she doesn’t lose, it’s good.”

While waiting, the group chatted.

Just as they were speaking, Shi Yufei noticed something.

“Stop talking, look at Mitra quickly, it seems to be starting.”

Hearing this, everyone looked at Mitra.

At this moment, Mitra had stopped consuming fairy tears.

Her eyes were tightly closed, and she floated in mid-air.

Rainbow light swirled around her, dreamlike and dazzling.

Then, bursts of pushing force began to emanate from Mitra, spreading in all directions.

The pushing force was gentle at first, then gradually became more intense.

Liu Yang and the others couldn’t resist the force and retreated again and again.

Afterward, Mitra began to grow at a visible speed.

30 centimeters, 40 centimeters, 50 centimeters, up to 130 centimeters.

The originally delicate, doll-like figure instantly transformed into a beautiful and cute loli.

If not for the few pairs of wings on her back, at first glance, she would be indistinguishable from a human.

At this point, the pushing force receded.

Just as Liu Yang and the others smiled, thinking it was over, a pillar of light shot up from Mitra’s body.

The pillar of light was exceptionally dazzling, making it impossible to look directly at it.

Boom!

With a loud bang, the pillar of light pierced a large hole through Home’s spatial barrier, continuing to shoot towards the sky.

“Holy crap, what’s going on? Home has a hole in it. Nothing unexpected will happen, right?”

“I don’t know. Allen, Zongzheng Ziyi, Afia, the three of you go outside and see what’s happening, and tell me everything in real-time.”

This situation was beyond Liu Yang’s expectations; he didn’t know what was happening.

And he also didn’t know if this was a good or bad thing.

“Yes, we’ll go now.”
