Online Games: Billions Spent on In-app Purchases, Archery Becomes a God

The countdown to the epic arrival has begun! The location of the epic arrival will be announced soon! From their meticulous deployment, it was clear that Goddess Palace was determined to seize the epic weapons this time!

Everyone kept this matter firmly in mind!

Therefore, the best arrangements were made.

Goddess Daji saw the entire army in a well-trained state.

A satisfied smile naturally appeared on her beautiful face.

At the same time, her red lips slightly parted, and she loudly uttered a single word: “Good!”

Just then,

everyone present trembled!

An unexpected world announcement suddenly rang out:

“Ding! Attention all players! The countdown to the epic descent has now begun!”

“Only the last 24 hours remain until the descent of the 10 epic weapons!”

“Please pay close attention to the epic landing locations!”

“They will be announced to all players simultaneously at a later time!”

... “Hoo...”

Countless people couldn’t help but let out a deep breath.

This news was truly too shocking!

Only 24 hours left until the 10 great epics descend!

This time was much faster than they had imagined!

A great battle was inevitably about to unfold!

Divine Diaochan had a flash of inspiration and suddenly whispered to Goddess Daji:

“Big Sister! The countdown to the epic descent can now be checked by calling the system!”

“And the landing locations can also be checked later.”

“Hurry and try it!”

Upon hearing this, Goddess Daji called the system herself.

Sure enough,

after calling the system,

in the upper left corner of her vision,

two lines of golden characters appeared, recording respectively:

Time remaining until the descent of the Ten Great epics: 23:59:30

Location of the Ten Great epics’ descent: To be announced in approximately 23 hours

Goddess Daji’s heart trembled: “!!!”

She couldn’t help but blurt out to Divine Diaochan beside her:

“Doesn’t this mean that the specific locations will only be announced in the last hour before the epic descent?”

With Divine Diaochan’s exceptional intelligence,

she naturally understood the system’s meaning at once.

She nodded to Goddess Daji in agreement: “That’s right, Big Sister, we’ll only know the specific locations an hour before the epic descent.”

“The reason the system designed it this way is perhaps because it doesn’t want to see one guild snatch all the epic weapons.”

“That’s why it made this arrangement.”

Goddess Daji nodded silently.

Her mind raced.

She and Divine Diaochan meticulously calculated the impact of this matter on Goddess Palace.

She quickly said:

“Information on all epic landing locations will only be available in the last hour.”

“Furthermore, there’s a very high probability that the system will announce all epic landing locations simultaneously one hour before the epic descent.”

“Preventing everyone from simultaneously contending for all 10 epics!”

“This way, any guild wishing to contend for all 10 epics will find the difficulty much higher than before!”

... Divine Diaochan nodded her head in understanding.

Her beautiful brows furrowed.

Because for a large guild like Goddess Palace,

this matter was undoubtedly bad news.

With their strength,

they originally had the confidence to seize at least 5 epic weapons.

But under the one-hour time limit,

they couldn’t make sufficient preparations.

This matter was very disadvantageous for large guilds.

Instead, it benefited smaller guilds with fewer personnel.

They might even be able to use this mechanism to cleverly snatch success from the hands of large guilds!

Therefore, both Divine Diaochan and Goddess Daji were slightly dissatisfied with this epic descent mechanism.

“Doesn’t this reduce Goddess Palace’s chances of obtaining all epic weapons?”

... Sharing similar thoughts with them,

were more than a dozen other large guilds, including Lords Fall, Dragon Clan, God of War, Emperor Rules the World, and others.

Although the number of guilds in Xia Kingdom had skyrocketed,

now reaching over 100,

the top 12 veteran guilds still held a significant lead and first-mover advantage!

They established their guilds earliest,

attracting the strongest and highest-level expert players in the game!

Latercomers were far inferior.

The strength and number of members in the top 12 guilds could be said to crush the guilds ranked in the bottom 50!

Therefore, this news was not beneficial for those at the top.

Instead, it was more favorable to smaller guilds with insufficient strength, who could fish in troubled waters.

Within each guild,

plans for seizing the epic weapons were being adjusted based on the system’s intelligence disclosure.

... Time flew by like a white steed.

In a blink of an eye,

23 hours had passed.

At this moment,

everyone paying attention to the descent of the 10 great epic weapons had their eyes light up!

They all saw, without prior agreement: “Only the last 1 hour remains until the epic descent~!”

As the countdown precisely turned to 1:00:00,

an incredibly fresh system announcement suddenly echoed through the skies!

“Ding! Heavenly Court Trembles, World Announcement:

Attention all players!

The locations of the 10 great epic descents are now released!

Open your map to view them!

Heroes of the world, do not miss this opportunity!

This chance is once in a lifetime, lost never to return!

This is a special announcement!

” x 3

... With the system announcement ringing out,

the player communities of more than half the world instantly exploded!

Cheers suddenly soared to the sky: “Wow—! The epic locations have finally been announced!”

“We can begin our actions immediately!”

“Let’s go for the 10 great epic weapons! Yay~! (✪ω✪)”

... A thunderous cheer suddenly erupted from Goddess Palace: “Guys! Get moving!”

“Go! Contend for the 10 great epics!”

... At the Lords Fall Guild’s headquarters,

Ye Xingyu had personally led all guild players to assemble an hour ago.

Now, having finally waited for the locations to be announced,

the 10 team leaders, with perfect understanding, simultaneously opened their maps and quickly browsed through them.

Bai He’s voice was the first to ring out.

She excitedly shouted to Ye Xingyu:

“Guild Leader! The landing location of the bow-type epic is 40 li northwest of Bixiao City!”

“Please act immediately!”

What Bai He cared about most was the bow-type epic.

For her,

the most important thing in the entire Lords Fall Guild was Ye Xingyu’s personal strength.

The importance of other epics in her heart was far lower than that of the bow and arrow.

Ye Xingyu nodded at her in acknowledgment.

He then said in a deep voice to everyone present:

“The epics have appeared! We will split up! Each team will follow its plan! Maintain close contact!”

“Go!”

Ye Xingyu took the lead,

riding his Red Mane Horse towards the teleportation array!

For the victory of this epic battle,

Bai He and Lords Fall Guild’s logistics team had already captured thousands of Red Mane Horses and distributed them to the guild’s combat personnel.

Red Mane Horses were a well-known common wild horse found on the famous Radiant Grasslands.

It was said that Red Mane Horses had fifty percent of the Blood-Sweating Steed’s bloodline!

They had an extremely close connection to the historically famous Blood-Sweating Steed!
