Leveling Up And Becoming Undefeatable

Chapter 1317: Training The Saintess

The slap was ruthless.

He used immense force, without the slightest hint of tenderness.

To the side, Liu Zhan was completely dumbfounded. He could only stare at Luo Tian with his mouth agape, unable to process what was happening.

The Saintess tried her best to endure it, but the pain in her butt was simply too much.

Moreover, her body was still weak, making her struggles futile. She could not escape Luo Tian’s clutches at all. The more she struggled, the harder Luo Tian struck. Eventually, her bottom, through her thin dress, turned bright red.

Unable to hold it back any longer, she burst into tears.

“Wuuu, wuuu, wuuu, wuuu…”

She cried just like a little kid.

Luo Tian pulled back his hand and said, “Will you do it again? Still want to kill me? If it weren’t for you having the exact same face as Xue’er, I wouldn’t care if you lived or died.”

In truth, he was feeling a bit of heartache over the Omnipotent Spring Water.

To him, that item was equivalent to an extra life, and it was painful to see it gone just like that.

The Saintess shook her head frantically, “I won’t, I won’t. Please don’t hit my butt anymore.”

She was terrified to death.

She had never been this scared in her life. Previously, she believed she was fearless. Her gaze was always cold, and she looked down on everything in the secular world. No matter who it was, even if Luo Tian had saved her, she remained equally indifferent to them all.

Most importantly, she had always assumed that being slapped on the butt wouldn’t hurt, but now she was in so much pain she almost cried out for her mother.

“Fuuu~”

“It would have been better if you acted like this from the start, instead of wearing that expression like everyone owes you money and expects to flatter you.” Luo Tian helped her up.

Seeing her face covered in tear tracks and her aggrieved look, he said, “You just needed some discipline.”

The Saintess sniffed, her tears slowing down. She didn’t dare to look Luo Tian in the eye, and just took several steps back to maintain a safe distance. She then said angrily, “Just wait until I recover my yuan energy! Then…”

Luo Tian’s eyes widened as he harrumphed, “What did you say?”

“N, n, nothing! I didn’t say anything!” The Saintess shook her head frantically, her body trembling slightly in fear. One hand was rubbing her backside as she winced from the pain, looking as pitiful as a small kitten.

However, she was not a kitten. She was a tigress.

After saying those words, the Saintess looked ready to leave. If she stayed any longer, there was no telling what might happen to her buttocks.

Now that the Blood Spring was dead, she didn’t have to worry about being lost.

As she was about to walk away, Luo Tian glared at her and shouted, “Where do you think you’re going?!”

“Huh?”

“I… I… can’t I go back to Misty Cloud Academy?” the Saintess stammered, her heart filled with hatred for Luo Tian.

Fortunately, there weren’t many people around. Otherwise, how could she maintain the dignity of a Saintess with this expression?

She would surely lose all face for Phoenix Sky Mountain.

Right now, she only wanted to get away from Luo Tian as fast and as far as possible. Once she recovered, she would take her revenge on this great demon king!

At this moment, Luo Tian had become a great demon king in her heart.

Luo Tian stepped forward and held out the Phoenix Bloodshed Bracelet. He then asked, “Do you want this back?”

Upon seeing the Phoenix Bloodshed Bracelet, the Saintess’s gaze turned serious, “That belongs to me. Give it back immediately.”

Luo Tian smiled, “I can return it to you, but you must agree to a few of my demands.”

As he was speaking, he tucked the Phoenix Bloodshed Bracelet away.

Luo Tian then continued, “I am going to Pangu’s Cave. Along the way, we will encounter all kinds of demonic beasts, and I want you to help me clear them out. That shouldn’t be difficult for you, right? Also, don’t think about attacking me once you’ve recovered your yuan energy. If you dare strike at me, I guarantee you will never find the other Phoenix Bloodshed Bracelet, nor will you find the person you are looking for.”

Who was the Saintess?

She was a powerful existence!

Seeing her deal with the Blood Spring earlier with her fierce sword techniques, strength, and her explosive damage, Luo Tian realized that if he had her as his enforcer, his experience points would skyrocket. Moreover, the outskirts of the Pangu Mountains were already so dangerous; who knew what else they would encounter in this ancient battlefield from tens of thousands of years ago? What powerful monsters of the Guardian Race or bosses remained? It was unpredictable, and having her along provided extra insurance.

However, the Phoenix Bloodshed Bracelet alone wouldn’t be enough to keep her interested.

Using the person she was searching for was a different story.

People from Phoenix Sky Mountain rarely left their mountain, and whenever they did, it was with a purpose. It was obvious the Saintess had come down specifically to find someone. If Luo Tian’s guess was correct, she was looking for Little Sister Xue’er.

She just didn’t know that Xue’er was on the Tianxuan Continent.

If he didn’t make good use of this powerful sister-in-law, he would be doing himself a disservice.

Sure enough, the Saintess’s expression changed instantly when she heard about the other Phoenix Bloodshed Bracelet.

“So it really was you using the Phoenix Bloodshed Bracelet in the Martial Mountain Range. Only those from Phoenix Sky Mountain know how to use it, so how did you know the method? Where is the other one? Where is my sister?”

Luo Tian hid his surprise while thinking to himself, “She really is looking for Xue’er! This truly is her sister, my sister-in-law. Such a beautiful sister-in-law, and a natural-born Saintess to boot. Xue’er, what am I supposed to do with her? Hahaha…”

Immediately after, Luo Tian spoke with a calm expression, “I told you before: if you want to know these things, you must listen to me. Otherwise, you will never find out. I can tell you clearly that in this world, no one besides me knows where the second Phoenix Bloodshed Bracelet is, and no one else knows where your sister is.”

Indeed, in the Ancient World, Luo Tian was the only one who knew these things.

The Saintess remained silent for half a minute before biting her lip and saying, “Fine, I promise you!”

Seeing her bite her lip, Luo Tian’s heart skipped a beat. This wasn’t because the Saintess looked like Xue’er, but a most primal reaction from within.

Liu Zhan was also dumbstruck before he said with a grin, “Big Sister Saintess, welcome to our team.”

The Saintess looked at him with disdain and said, “I haven’t joined your team. I just happen to be going to Pangu’s Cave as well, humph~!”

Luo Tian smiled and said, “Alright, let’s head out.”

Liu Zhan sent a voice transmission, “Boss, you’re incredible! You took down the high-and-mighty Saintess so easily, and even slapped her butt until it was red! Who else could pull that off?! I admire you more and more! You’re basically my idol!”

He was full of admiration.

At the same time, Liu Zhan chuckled to himself while thinking, “Sigh~, I have yet another competitor in this world.”

Phoenix Sky Mountain, the main hall.

A beautiful woman looked toward the distant sky with a slightly nervous expression. She muttered softly to herself, “Qianqian, are you doing okay?”

She sensed the Phoenix Bloodshed Bracelet erupting again, and the entire Phoenix Sky Mountain trembled in response.
