Special Forces Soldier: Me, the Number One Troublemaker of Wolf Fang

146: Chapter 146 Owe a LifeYang Han’s expression was icy as he waved towards Xiang Yu and the others.

The members of Dragon Blade and Beast Battalion were momentarily stunned, then immediately ran after Yang Han.

”No matter what, they are still human... It wouldn’t be good to watch them being tortured to death.”

Yang Han said leisurely as he ran, ”So ending their lives early... is for their own good.”

Yes, that’s what Yang Han thought... He absolutely had no intention of seizing an opportunity for revenge.

Xiang Yu and the others smiled, understanding without words.

They immediately ran towards the other side.

Seeing those R-country soldiers killed by hidden arrows, the Old Savage was stunned for a moment, then roared and lunged forward: ”Ah!?”

The fallen R-country soldiers, however, wore expressions of relief.

Just as Yang Han had said, being chased by so many savages, severely wounded, covered in blood, and with their strength failing...

Death was inevitable sooner or later. Ending their lives early was far better than being tortured endlessly.

”Ah! Ah!”

The Old Savage gnashed his teeth, furious beyond measure.

These soldiers from R-country, what were they?

They were the enemies who had slaughtered their village, yet they were struck down by hidden arrows.

Then, the Old Savage waved his hand, apparently intending to capture Yang Han and the others.

...

Over the past few days, the Wildman Tribe and Yang Han’s group had engaged in battles of wits and courage, clashing many times. But who was Yang Han?

He possessed infrared detection within a thousand-meter radius. The movements of the Wildman Tribe couldn’t possibly escape him.

So, in fights against these people, Yang Han could often hide in the shadows, shoot arrows, seize the savages’ weapons, then vanish again... When the Wildman Tribe pursued, he would repeat the tactic, shooting arrows from concealment.

This mode of combat had directly cost the Wildman Tribe over fifty men.

The Old Savage was beside himself with rage, yet utterly helpless.

Finally.

The seven days arrived.

Thump thump thump...

Thump thump thump...

The sound of a massive helicopter echoed overhead. Above Yang Han and the others were personnel from the Carlos Competition organizers, coming to pick up the victors.

”Let’s go!”

Yang Han’s spirits lifted, and he immediately said, ”Damn, the helicopter’s finally here. Hurry up.”

”Yeah.”

Xiang Yu, He Chenguang, and the others nodded repeatedly. Although no one had died these past few days, clashing with a formidable existence like the Wildman Tribe was extremely dangerous.

They were truly reckless with their lives!

Continuing any longer, He Chenguang and the others felt their energy would be completely drained.

Inside the helicopter.

”See that? There are about ten people down below.”

”Let me see which country is so lucky to have collected all eight medals.”

The Carlos Competition judge wore a smile, but upon closer look, the familiar face gave him pause.

Yang Han.

”Is it Great Xia? Great Xia again? This time, Great Xia’s results are almost excessively good—first place in all five assessments.”

The judge was astonished, and others in the Carlos Competition were equally shocked.

The helicopter lowered a ladder. Yang Han and the others climbed up, with Yang Han covering the rear while He Chenguang and the others went first.

Just as Yang Han was climbing the ladder, an enraged roar suddenly erupted from below, like the cry of a beast whose young had been killed.

Yang Han’s gaze sharpened like lightning as he looked down. The Old Savage, leading over twenty savages fully equipped, was charging towards him at full speed.

The Old Savage held Gong Jian. Whoosh!

An arrow shot towards Yang Han. Yang Han sneered, quickly climbing the ladder and soon boarding the helicopter.

The judge by the cabin door looked alarmed and said, ”That was...”

”Savages,” Yang Han said gravely. ”The South Sentinel Island is inhabited by the Wildman Tribe. These savages... are cannibals...”

”What? Cannibals?” The judge’s face instantly paled with shock.

”Yes. Many contestants have been eaten by them.” Yang Han’s gaze was profound.

These words left many exchanging uneasy glances. It seemed absurd, but the savage squad that had just appeared—their movements, appearance, and homemade bows—all suggested a primitive society.

The South Sentinel Island truly had savages!

The helicopter carried Yang Han’s group back to the outermost edge of South Sentinel Island.

Heavily guarded, generals from various nations gathered here, their minds filled with suspense. The fifth assessment was critically important; securing first place would guarantee at least a top-three ranking in the entire Carlos Competition.

The sound of the helicopter approached. Gao Shiwei looked up at the sky, thinking to himself, ”Will it be you? Yang Han.”

Once the helicopter landed smoothly, the cabin door opened.

The first face to emerge was Yang Han’s cold, impassive one. Gao Shiwei was immediately overjoyed.

”As expected.”

”I knew it was you!”

Gao Shiwei laughed heartily, ”It seems first place in the fifth assessment is also ours, Great Xia’s.”

However, Gao Shiwei keenly noticed that Yang Han, Xiang Yu, He Chenguang, and the others... their expressions were off, as if they had endured something terrifying. What was inside South Sentinel Island?

Yang Han jogged over to Gao Shiwei and saluted.

”You’ve done excellently,” Gao Shiwei praised.

Yang Han recounted the incident with the savages on South Sentinel Island. After hearing it, Gao Shiwei fell silent for a long time, his expression turning grave.

During this, He Chenguang, Xiang Yu, and others added a few embellished details.

After a long silence, Gao Shiwei finally said, ”You all are truly blessed by great fortune. To escape alive despite being hunted by so many savages?”

”It’s all thanks to Yang Han,” Xiang Yu said sincerely. ”If not for him, the rest of us in Dragon Blade would have been slaughtered by the savages on the very first night...”

”We owe Yang Han a life.”

”Yes, we owe him a life.”

Jiang Xiaoyu, Zhang Chong, A Gan, and the others spoke up one after another.

Gao Shiwei gave Yang Han’s shoulder a firm pat and said, ”You already have the bearing of a great commander. The peril of this Carlos Competition... exceeded my imagination.”

At that moment, the Carlos Competition judge, with a solemn expression, informed Major General Mars about the savage incident.

Upon hearing it, Major General Mars was also greatly shocked. His expression immediately darkened, and he then commanded the military forces of the Island Nation in the Water to advance deep into South Sentinel Island!

No matter what, if South Sentinel Island truly had savages, and in such numbers...

Besides Yang Han’s group, the Special Forces from other nations had not yet emerged. Could they all have been eaten by the savages?

If that were truly the case...

This Carlos Competition would be the most disastrous one ever held!

The international reputation of the Island Nation in the Water would also plummet dramatically.

Yang Han and the others, however, relaxed leisurely on the side. The championship had definitively gone to Great Xia.

Half a day passed.

A full regiment from the Island Nation in the Water was deployed, equipped with ample weaponry. They indeed discovered the Wildman Tribe, and also found those...

remains—only bones left—of Special Forces soldiers, unidentifiable as to which country they belonged to.
