151: Chapter 151 Praying for BlessingsWhen it comes to being human, one must learn to share.

Tang Xiaotang clearly understood this principle; if she had food to eat, Lian Lian would definitely have soup to drink.

This day, having just arrived at Sakurajima, they were originally planning to rest a bit.

After the girls watched movies for a long time, they all honestly went back to rest.

Even Tang Xiaotang was pulled by Qi Lian and groggily went back to sleep.

Once all the girls had left, Fang Xun climbed up from the sofa with an exhausted look and quickly returned to his room.

He collapsed and fell asleep.

The next day.

When the sun was high in the sky, Fang Xun was finally woken up by the sounds of the girls getting up.

Evidently, the girls had only just gotten up at this hour as well.

This group of songbirds was still discussing where to go for fun first.

”Do you guys want to come see our Onmyōryō?” Uesugi Akemi extended an invitation.

Since they were already in Heian-kyō, the Onmyōryō wasn’t too far away.

”Okay! Is it like the Shrine where we can pray for blessings?”

Tang Xiaotang wasn’t very knowledgeable about it.

”Uh... no. The Onmyōryō is actually quite similar to the Special Affairs Bureau.” To make it easier for Tang Xiaotang to understand, Uesugi Akemi made a very simple and clear comparison.

”Lian Lian, the Special Affairs Bureau isn’t fun at all...” Tang Xiaotang immediately shook her head.

At least in Tang Xiaotang’s view, the Special Affairs Bureau was truly pointless.

However, Shen Yue and Qi Lian were both very interested.

Not to mention Qi Lian.

Shen Yue really wanted to see what the Director of the Sakurajima Special Affairs Bureau looked like.

After all, she had only ever known that the Special Affairs Bureau existed and was very powerful.

But she had never had the chance to go inside and see it.

So, Shen Yue was actually quite curious.

However, this trip was an opportunity that only arose because of Tang Xiaotang. Since Tang Xiaotang had said that, they should follow Xiao Tang’s wishes first.

”Let’s go to the Shrine first. We can write wishes on ema, draw omikuji fortunes, and get omamori charms. It’s great.”

”That works too.” Shen Yue was also quite interested upon hearing that.

Well, Shen Yue was actually interested in everything.

”Okay, let’s go to the Shrine first.” Although Uesugi Akemi hesitated slightly, she nodded in agreement.

”Then Akemi, do you want to change your clothes? I remember your miko outfit looked really good on you before.”

Tang Xiaotang remembered that time; Uesugi Akemi had indeed looked very beautiful wearing the miko outfit.

”This...” Uesugi Akemi looked a bit awkward:

”Actually, I’m not allowed to wear a miko outfit.”

”Huh?” The girls were suddenly greatly shocked.

Seeing their shocked expressions, Uesugi Akemi explained, ”I am an Onmyoji, a regular staff member of the Onmyōryō. I’m actually not supposed to wear a miko outfit...”

”I just wear it because I think it looks nice. My Great Minister is also quite open-minded.”

”But if we go to the Shrine wearing miko outfits, it wouldn’t be appropriate.”

”Hmm...” Tang Xiaotang pondered deeply for a moment, then looked at Uesugi Akemi:

”Then let’s all go out in cosplay!”

”Eh?” Uesugi Akemi was confused.

”Akemi can cosplay as Kikyo.”

”Eh?”

”It’s settled then. You have to accompany us to have fun, it would be rude to refuse such a warm invitation, the Onmyōryō shouldn’t be unreasonable, right?” After saying that, Tang Xiaotang saw that Uesugi Akemi was indeed somewhat moved, so she took out her phone.

”Hey, hey, Uncle Wang. Get us some cosplay outfits, let me see. What do you guys want to wear?” Tang Xiaotang said as she asked directly.

”Kikyo...?” Uesugi Akemi tested tentatively.

”Got it, one Kikyo.”

”Cirno.” Shen Yue said. After cosplaying as Reimu last time, she had looked up the Touhou series. She found this smart little blue creature very likable.

”Youmu Konpaku.” Qi Lian surprisingly also knew characters from the Touhou series.

”Alright, Cirno and Youmu Konpaku, two people.”

At this point, Tang Xiaotang looked directly at Jiang Qin:

”Qin Qin, how about you cosplay as Sakuya Izayoi?”

”Eh? Sure.” Jiang Qin didn’t know who Sakuya Izayoi was, but cosplaying anyone was about the same.

”Great! Remilia Scarlet and Sakuya Izayoi make a pair!”

After saying that, Tang Xiaotang thanked Uncle Wang and hung up the phone.

”Should we wake up my brother?” It was still Jiang Qin, thinking about her older brother at this moment.

Fang Xun was secretly listening to what the girls were up to. Hearing Jiang Qin thinking of him, he was instantly deeply moved.

”Let’s not for now,” Tang Xiaotang suggested.

Fang Xun: ”?”

”Let’s wait until we change our clothes and give brother a surprise,” Tang Xiaotang continued.

Fang Xun: ”(◍ • ᴗ • ◍)”

Fang Xun waited for about two hours.

About half an hour later, Uncle Wang’s knocking could already be heard from outside.

Uncle Wang not only prepared brand new outfits for the girls one by one, but he also brought a team of makeup artists to do touch-ups and styling for them on the spot.

Fang Xun could only say that this money was truly well-earned by him.

So, in Fang Xun’s anticipation, the bustling activity finally concluded.

Qi Lian saw that the time was about right, so she went to Fang Xun’s room and knocked.

Then the girls said in unison:

”Wake up, brother.” * 5

”Coming, coming right away.” Fang Xun pretended to greet them, and after a short wait, he quickly opened the door.

When he looked out, Fang Xun was struck by a shock of beauty.

The girls were all stunningly beautiful; Fang Xun didn’t know how to describe it.

”So beautiful.” These three words were practically the extent of Fang Xun’s entire vocabulary.

”Of course.”

Tang Xiaotang leaned on Jiang Qin’s shoulder.

It was a pity that her height was significantly taller than Remilia Scarlet’s, making it impossible to achieve that effect of hanging directly onto Sakuya Izayoi.

”Brother, do you like it~?” Tang Xiaotang said while pulling Jiang Qin to turn around once more to show off.

”I really like it.” Fang Xun nodded vigorously.

Seeing his own brother like this, Jiang Qin, for the first time in a long while, didn’t seem angry at all.

Instead, she felt a bit shy.

”Brother, how do we look?” Shen Yue, as Cirno.

Taking the lead, she pulled Kikyo and Youmu Konpaku and showed off proudly towards Fang Xun.

If nothing else, Cirno’s grand and imposing personality was perfectly rendered.

”So beautiful.” Fang Xun nodded vigorously.

At this moment, Tang Xiaotang could tell.

Brother probably didn’t have a high level of education, as he could only manage those one or two phrases.

”Brother, we are preparing to go to the Shrine over there. Do you want to come with us?”

”The World Governing Shrine Society?” Fang Xun recalled the name.

The Grand Shrine Master wanted him to go to the World Governing Shrine Society.

”Yes! We can pray for blessings with ema.” Tang Xiaotang was very focused on this matter.

There wasn’t really any place to pray for blessings in Dongcheng City anyway.

She couldn’t just throw a couple of steel coins into the Ring City Lake and call it praying for blessings, could she?

A young girl always has some little thoughts that are inconvenient to share with anyone.

”Alright then, let’s go.”
